Android :: Getting New Jorte Sync With Google Tasks To Work
Aug 4, 2010I just updated to Jorte 1.2.2, which is supposed to be able to synchronize tasks with Google tasks.
Google calendar sync still works fine. I have selected my google calendar account as the "Task account".
(I know this was successful because it warns me that task sync is manual for now.)
I go to Menu->Tasks & Memo
I select Menu->Synchronize
The progress bar pops up. It pauses briefly at 30% and 60% but then always gives the error: There was an error while synchronizing your tasks to Google Tasks. Please Try again Later.
I thought it might be because of pre-existing tasks having funky data, so I deleted all tasks on both google and on the phone, and then tried one task on google, and when that failed, one task on the phone. Always the same error.
With task sync, Jorte becomes the TOTAL solution for calendars and tasks on the Android! If only I could get it to work.
My phone is the Verizon HTC Eris running Android OS 2.1.

Aug 26, 2010Is there any way to sync my outlook tasks to my gtasks or my phone? I am a full-time student and last semester i used gtasks to enter all of my assignments and then used purecalendar to check them off but i could not get them on outlook. i would like to be able to enter them in outlook and be able to check them off the same way in either place.

Dec 22, 2009I am looking for an application that will link with Outlook. I synch with my exchange server for mail, contact, and calendar. But I have gobs of outlook notes that I want to use on my Sprint Hero. MyLink Access (Advanced) is about the only one that I have found, but their developers have not released anything other than the free version. They told me the advanced would be released before Christmas. I know it is not Christmas yet, but I just don't see that in the future. I would settle for an application that I could manage on my desktop so that I could retype all the notes and then have the desktop synch with the phone ..

Dec 30, 2008I have searched and downloaded almost every To Do List app and are there any that sync with Gmail Tasks? I know the calendar does but they show up real tiny on the top of the Calendar, I would really like an app to manage them all. Any ideas?

Oct 1, 2010I had to have the hard drive on my laptop replaced but they were able to clone it before reinstalling, so I did not lose any data.
However, when I open up my Google account, all the tasks that were there seem to be gone. I still have all my Tasks on GTasks, and I have chosen "Synchronize" in Gtasks, but they are still not showing up in Google calendar.
Why this might be happening and how I can get my tasks back into Google?

I see I can access them seperately by using an App called gtask but wondered if there is a way I can set it up so I can see my events and tasks all together on one calander. When I update a calendar item on the phone using Jorte, it does NOT sync to my Google calendar online (I've even tried the export function)

Nov 7, 2010I have Issues with Jorte calendar app to sync with google calendar. I have Jorte on my phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy S with 2.2 installed. I use LauncherPro Plus. When i enter a text in Jorte calendar, the text are not syncing to Google Calendar. But when i enter a text in Google Calendar it does sync to my phone and Jorte. In the options in Jorte i have checked so that the Calendar is using google account and the calendar on google that i use. I can not find any settings in Google Calendar to help it sync to my phone.

Mar 9, 2010I'm on the 3 network and for the last month my hero won't sync with google in north london, it seems to work everywhere else e.g. south and east london. i get this error message:'can't establish a reliable data connection' I've hard reset the phone several times that didn't work, i formatted the sd card didn't work, I've put in a different sim no luck with that too. Also the browser works fine i can access the net without a problem, however if i try to sign in to gmail through my browser i get an error message too: 'a secure connection could not be established'. I've been to several 3 shops and called tech support they don't know what the problem is either, they want me to send it in for repair but i'm reluctant to do that as works everywhere else.

Aug 31, 2010I set up my Google account on my phone but my contacts do not appear in the "People" app. One solution I read was to check if the contacts were stored on the phone itself and not the Google account, however I checked and they are in fact stored under the "Google" option (People > View) When I click on the sub-option under Google ("Show auto Gmail contacts") then it shows *every* contact I've ever emailed in the "All" list, but it still doesn't show my groups that I've set up in the "My Contacts" list.
