I'm talking about apps like the guns or lightsabers... and also like Caller ID Faker or SMS Bomber and stuff like that.. I tried a search but I really don't know exactly what to search... What are some good random apps that make you laugh or just confuse people?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhenever I plug my car charger into my evo and play it through an auxiliary cable through my speakers I hear a buzzing sound through the speakers. (like a bad ground sound). I know it is my charger, because as soon as i touch the charger to the phone the sound starts. Does everyone else have this same problem or is it just my phone? (I am using a bestbuy rocketfish usb car charger)

I've noticed that the stock music app's random feature has no regard for repeating songs. Sometimes I'll hear the same song 2-3 times in one hour! Are there any music apps that will randomize a playlist without playing any songs more than once? View 4 Replies View RelatedIM is automatically loaded when I start my phone. I don't use it, but don't see a way to uninstall or shut that off.
Also, I occssionally get these odd sms messages. I looked one up on the web and it said it had to do with IM. How can I stop all this IM stuff?
I do nothing and once a day I see a new app is installed on my phone.I made a factory reset, then installed only a couple of the most important apps. After that, a month later, it began again. Is it a virus? I don't know, because I install "Avast!" - no warninds, then "Lookout" - it also says no malware is found. The programs it installs look fine, they are not malware at all.What should I do now? Should I report to any antivirus company?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI installed the ViperOne yesterday and so far I've been enjoying it, however I'm getting random apps installing. They won't be installed but will show as an update in the Google Play Store, they'll automatically "update" when really their just installing.

EDIT: Upon further looking they are actually on my phone and when they say their updating they actually are. They look like stock apps (I can't remove them from Settings -> Applications)
Some of the apps appear to be from Sony which would make sense if I had a Sony device, but I don't. It's a HTC One (M7)
I got 2.1 update OTA yesterday. it runs better, and a little smoother/faster on most everything. the problem I am experiencing is that I can just power on the phone but within 5 minutes, I have 10-15 apps showing up in ATK. I kill the apps, and within 5 minutes I have 10-15 apps again. I am not opening the apps, but they just appear. I know this is draining my life, and may be the cause for a lot of other peoples battery issues since 2.1. Can anyone help?
I have unplugged the battery for about 7 hours(overnight), but no change. Iam in the process of running the battery down completely to shutoff then recharging. This is quite annoying.
Just recently I've noticed that random apps are running in the background. What happens is I'll open ATK and there'll be like 10 apps running(which I never even opened), so I'll go ahead and kill the selected apps. Within a minute there will be another 5-10 running without me even doing anything! What's the deal, this has got to be hurting my phones performance.
View 11 Replies View RelatedSometimes when I launch the "Messaging" application, it randomly opens a random app that I have been currently using.
Sometimes it works and just shows all of my messages. This is quite annoying and this has happened to me even after several factory resets.
Am I the only one with this issue? I have searched the forum but couldn't find a related thread.
I have this Motorola Flipside and I installed GOLauncher on it. With it I am using the GO Task Manager, and some other widgets, etc. as well. I have noticed that I will close out stuff I am not using any more, using the GO TM widget, and I will turn off the display/put phone to sleep. Then I'll get a text or something and tend to that, hit the home screen and will see the TM and there are like 10 apps open. I'll close them out again and put the phone back to sleep. A few mins later an e-mail or text comes in and I'll tend to it, home screen, again, a bunch of random apps show up in the TM.
Apps like Facebook Camera, ESPN Score Center, GPS, News, Settings, a widget that I don't even use and others randomly populate in the TM. I haven't even opened them or used them, but they are there. The things that were used are in there, and the items I have locked are there, but that's expected. I just don't understand why things are showing up there that haven't been opened. And randomly? Sometimes I will even close them out, hit refresh on the widget and it will just be what is supposed to be there, hit refresh again, bam - more random things show up. Close those, hit refresh a few times, those/others show up again.
What do I need to change? Or is this just something to do with the phone/launcher, perhaps?
Will putting the Behold 2 stock that BH_man is working on fix the phones problems such as random apps opening and horrible battery life?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've had my Incredible since 4/28, and everything has been working smoothly up until about last Thursday night when it just restarted out of the blue while I was listening to music. Then right after it booted up, it restarted again, then again about seven more times. I got fed up and took out the SD card and it seemed to stop after that, so I haven't put the SD card back in since then.
Just now, Wednesday, about a week later, I was browsing around on the internet and all of a sudden, it restarted, and then again, and again, and again. I've read that it is because of poor signal strength or something like that so I had just enough time to put it in airplane mode before it restarted again.
Side note, that theory about it being caused by poor signal seems to make sense because the first time it happened to me I was out of town in a city that gets very bad coverage with Verizon, and now today when it started happening again was at my house where for some reason I get very bad service with the incredible, my old phone worked perfectly fine in my house but the incredible gets terrible service, and so does my brother's Droid. In fact, about two weeks ago I got my first dropped call on Verizon in about three years, and it was in my house.
So anyways, I decided to put it in airplane mode, and just after I put it in airplane mode it restarted again. Then when it booted back up my Helix Launcher 2 home screen went back to the standard Helix Launcher 2 icons, I go into my messages and everything is gone, my contacts are all gone, everything is gone. I go to the app menu and all my apps are still there, but when I start up an app, all the custom settings are default now. I went into the settings and my accounts are all still there. I click on internet and I get a terms of service agreement, it's as if I am booting it up for the first time, but for some reason my apps and accounts are all still there.
I turn airplane mode off thinking it might have something to do with it not being connected to my google account, and I restart it again and everything is still gone. I don't know what to do, has this happened to anyone before? I feel like there should be a way for me to get this stuff back since my apps are still there and my accounts are still synced, but random things are missing like my contacts and messages etc. This is really starting to get annoying, I have insurance and everything, but I really don't want to exchange it for another one because I've read that other people who have had there phones replaced have still had the same rebooting problem, even after going through multiple replacements.
I use HTC desire, using Froyo 2.2 by pinky (based on official rom).One thing that bothers me so much, is after I dial a number from phone, some screen savers of android like cartoons showed up. The pictures were like android character playing guitar, android eating ice cream, sometime as stupid as android eating hot dog.Is this normal for android os? or did I just misinstalled some apps that does this? from what i remember I never installed screen saver apps. Those screensavers bothers me so much! As I was becoming unable to see the 'End call' button!

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm not sure if it has to do with today's update but I have a pretty good idea it is. Whenever I got to ATK it shows many more apps 'open' than I specifically opened.
Say I opened Music and internet. Voice dialer, maps, and gesture search will have opened as well.
So when i turn the camera on, on the Droid it makes this sort of loud noise coming right from the lens it seems to only make it when it has to focus or when it turns on or even when coming back from previewing a picture. Does any one else seem to have that problem?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've started noticing a weird clicking noise after using the camera. After I take a picture and press the 'Home' button to exit the application, it makes the noise, which sounds like there's something loose or something. I'm just wondering if anyone's had this problem, and if it's actually anything to worry about. Also, the slider part of the phone is loose at the bottom, so when I push the buttons I'm actually pushing the screen down onto the keyboard, which is annoying. Is there any way to fix it? Also, I'm thinking that may be the reason for the clicking noise.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAnyone else experience this? This morning i booted the phone and when sliding between panels it was slightly slow and leggy compared to normal operation. Some of my chat programs were laggy as well. It seem to have fixed itself now but it was odd. I use task killer and there wasn't much running.
Also whats up with the spacebar? Half the time it doesn't register
I have a note 1 N7000, and each time the screen began flickering and after that it shut down. This got worse after flashing a cyanogenmod rom. By plugging in the charger the battery seemed empty, but wasn't. After a while the battery indicator used to show charged 70 % or more. Put the charger cable off and the situation repeated after a short time of usage. Last night it started turning off at boot and wouldn't turn on unless on charge. I flashed a original JB rom since the problem doesn't happen when on recovery/download mode. but now it does it even when connected on charge.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor example last night I went swimming. After my swim I got out and texted my friend "Hey man I'm done swimming, whats up"? Today I check my phone and I see that the same message got sent again randomly. I did not send the text again but somehow my phone re-sent that text, and literally Erased the original message that I sent myself.
Same thing happened the other night - I sent a text apologizing to a friend that I couldn't hang out with her. The next day the text got re-sent to her somehow, and she responded with "what are you talking about?". I was like "Idk wtf happened my phone is randomly re-sending texts to people". What's going on? I don't think this ever happened before the latest software update.
I finally was able to unlock my Cliq from the T-mobile network to the At&t network, and I can now make calls and text. I am receiving a text that says "122 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. 0605040710000041637469766174653A64743D36", but I haven't even sent any text messages.. It started doing that right after I successfully unlocked the phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'll be on my phone browsing through the net, on my apps etc. Then once I get back to my home screen all of a sudden my screen freezes and the "HTC screen" pops up (same screen when you reboot your phone) and then I will have to wait a minute or two for everything to load up again. I've had my hero since January and this problem recently just began last week. It happens quite often and it's really irritating. I always clear my cache/data/history. Could it perhaps be some of the applications I downloaded from the market causing this?

It would enter airplane mode and the only way to get out of the mode was to remove battery and then restart. That always didn't work either. This was unacceptable for 200 dollars. The battery was also a big ? It seemed that the battery life was non-existant. I give this phone an E on a grading scale. "E" for effort. Will wait for next Sprint Android phone. That might be a while.
View 49 Replies View RelatedMy phone died on me Saturday night so I took it home and put it on the charger. When it came back on, it told me my software had been successfully updated to some kind of version 3.2.something. I didn't pay attention to what it said had been updated, I just thought "cool" and hit OK. Well once I hit ok, things start force closing. I reset the phone and Color Notes stops unexpectedly immediately. Lots of my widgets say "Problem loading gadget". At least 3 out of 5 on each home screen. Lots of my apps will not open. They open then immediately close. Lookout will not initialize. Pandora closes immediately. Also, I lost most all of my contacts. My Google contacts are still there, but all the Phone contacts are gone. My call log is gone. Internet history. Some settings are gone like default program settings and sound settings. My wallpaper, emails from my Gmail account as well as settings, unlock password, calendar entries, and some other things are still there on the phone. I have NO IDEA what the hell happened, but I would really like to try to get this fixed without hard resetting my phone.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI upgraded my Captivate to 2.2 two weeks ago and ever since the phone will shut itself off without making a sound (screen just goes black like the battery was pulled out) randomly. I do notice it never does it if the charger is plugged in.
I also am having a problem with txting. Sometimes when I am replying to a txt to one person, it will sent the message to a random person in my contacts instead of the person I intended to send the txt to.
Lastly, when I take a pic with the camera or download a pic from a txt, it takes awhile for it to show up in my gallery...
None of these things were happening when it was still running 2.1.
When ever my phone freezes and the battery come out when I start it back up. The phone ends up sending 2 to 3 random previous messages to the last person I texted. This has happened several times has this happened to anyone else and is there a fix?
