Android :: How To Change Developer Account Associated With App?

We were in a bit of a rush to publish our app at first, and my associate absentmindedly created a developer account under his personal google account. Naturally, he doesn't want anyone else to have access to his google account, but it means only he can access the developer account. The only problem here is we have an app published with a few hundred users. What I'd like to know is how to migrate the management of that app over to a different android development account. I know one can't change the association between developer account and google account, that's not what I'm asking about. I'd just like to preserve the app feedback that already exists, and not alienate any of the current users. Anybody know what I can do?

I searched for a few different keywords and couldn't find an answer. I work for a mobile development company. We deployed an app to the Market under the client's developer account. We now want to transfer the app to a different developer account. Is there a way to do this, without confusing the user? My fear is that there will be two apps in the Market. One will no longer be supported. One idea we had was publish both. The existing one would get a nag screen that tells the user that this app is no longer supported and directs them to download the new version.

My company has a team of developers and testers working on product for Andriod phones. The normal developer account can only order a single ADP1. We would like to get a couple more of them. Is there a corporate developer account that would give us access to more of them? Or do we need to create multiple accounts, one for each phone?

My company is a Hong Kong based company and my app has been hosted by my good friend in America under his Android Market account. Now that Google announced support of selling app in my region, I want to move the app back so to avoid more hassle to him for tax reporting etc.
Do you know a formal way either:
- Check the existing Google Checkout account from one country to another, or - To move the app ownership from one Android Developer account to another.

We are migrating to a new Android developer account and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about the best way to transition apps to the new account.
From what I can find, the only suggestions I've seen were to publish an update to the old app notifying the user of the new updated app. This requires us to publish the apps under a new package name which we would like to avoid if possible.

I have 2 gmail accounts. Unfortunately, one of them is for my calendar and contacts and the other is for my personal e-mail. As of now, my cal and contacts are syncing fine but I do not use the e-mail account that is associated with thier username. I have my other account (personal e-mail) set up sepeartely....along with a few other e-mail accounts(work and etc.). I would like to know if i can leave my cal and contacts setup on the regular droid sync account but change the e-mail account to my personal acct. so it will "push" by default with out having it in a seperate palce on the droid. I know this is confusing but i dont know how else to explian it.

I just synced with app brain and immediately afterwords received about 7 messages saying my credit card was billed. i was able to stop 3 of them. (by the way this was app that i didn't buy, have on my phone, or ever even heard of for that matter) now verizon is telling me that the only way to change the default account is to do a hard reset, which we all know, but then also said that unless i put the original account back on the phone, i wont be able to get the apps that I DID pay for, without buying them again....THAT is bullshit! the apps should be associated with the phone number, not a freaking email account. does anyone know if there is anyways around this?

This is driving me insane. When I setup my Hero I had to setup a gmail account, even though I have a Google Account. I setup a gmail account to get the phone setup. I now want to make my gmail account something that makes a little more sense to me. I am not using my gmail account but apparently it shows on Google Latitude to my friends, etc. My question is how does one unlink a gmail account and add a new one? When I go to my Google Accounts to delete gmail it says it will take about 2 days. I wait 2 days and nothing happens. If I attempt to add Gmail back to my Google Account is hows my old address and will not allow me to create a new one. Is it not possible to change the linked gmail address to your google account??

I have 3 mail accounts on my galaxy S. I want to change the default account and remove the existing one but can't. I get the message: this account is required by some application. I'd have to do a reset. That's a pretty dramatic step. Loose all personal data. Is there NO other way Google?

Yesterday I bought my LG Eve (by Rogers), and I made the mistake of subscribing the account that I don't use very much to the Gmail app that comes with the phone (and therefore, to all google apps in the phone). Does anyone know how can I change it?

just got my desire this morning and i don't really know what i'm doing with it, i've never had a smart phone before. i've set up my hotmail account as the email account on the phone but, call me paranoid, i'd rather not have it on there at all. if i delete the account on the phone will it have any detremental effect on the actual email account?

I'm looking to change my primary account for my android phone but am not looking to loose all my information while doing it. The gmail account i set up my first android phone with was really just a bin for all my other crazy emails to go to. I finally got to creating a real gmail account for myself and want to tie my phone to this account instead.

I'm using Android 4.1.2
The wrong account is ME in Contacts
I connect 4 accounts in Contacts
a business account (google apps google mail and google+)
a personal account (google apps google mail and google+)
a gmail account
and facebook
the business account is currently ME in Contacts which means if I send an email from my phone from the personal account the image shown is not the personal image it's the business image
how can I change ME in Contacts to be my personal account?

I had to have a factory reset a couple of weeks ago and did not realize at the time that it made a difference which Gmail account was entered first. I really need to set a different account as the 'primary', but the only option for doing this seems to be another factory reset which will be a real PITA since I just got everything reloaded and the phone is running pretty well. I saw some instructions on another part of this forum which said that you could delete the data from Google Apps, but that is not an option and the other options (e.g., clear cache) are dimmed.

I have a Samsung Moment, that is running the stock Android 2.1 system released by Sprint. I signed up for a Gmail account when I got the phone. I also run my own domain, and have just migrated my domain's email and calendar to Google Apps. I would like to set my phone up to sync everything from my Google Apps account rather than the random Gmail account I signed up for when I got the phone. Is there any way to achieve this without doing a Factory Data Reset? I am willing to do the Factory Data Reset if I have to, but if I need to go through that process, are there any procedures I should follow to backup important data before hand? Also, will the reset take me back to 1.5?

When I tried to remove (settings->accounts & sync) the gmail account that was used during the initial phone setup, it prompted this message -> Remove account. This account is required by some applications. You can only delete it by resetting the phone to factory defaults. I would like to change it to another gmail account. Is such a drastic move (reset to factory default) necessary? Any workaround?

I just created a gmail account/profile and i wanted to use this new account in my existing Samsung S4 which i have login with another gmail account.I manage to remove the old account ID and login with the new ID, all sync was done. BUT i found that some of my existing contact is without name but having the phone number and i am not sure if there is any missing contacts?
Then I retry to login with the old ID and the contacts details came back to normal with one or two without the names.

I've just try to set the an email account on my X10 mini using the "Email" app.App ask for "Yahoo", "hotmail", and 2 others providers.I choose "hotmail" and enter account and password ok it's working.(my 50 messages are tagged "not read" and there is no way to tag all of them "read", but it's not the main problem now)But it was just a test, what I want is to setup my yahoo account.THE PROBLEM IS that now, when I open the "Email" app, it opens directly my hotmail account.
