IF someone has to develop the same application for Android and iPhone, is it more difficult to develop in one platform than on the other? Does it take more time?
Lets think about the average app. Lists, text , buttons, fetch information from the Internet. Person has same experience on both platforms.

So the Droid X's talk time is stated to be 8 hours, while the iPhone 4's talk time is stated to be 7 hours. Does that mean the Droid X's battery will last as long as the iPhone's? I'm not exactly sure how battery length works.
View 19 Replies View RelatedI have a fairly fast machine, and I boot into Windows 7 or Mac OS depending on which work I need to do. When I start the Android emulator it takes around 2-3 minutes and its sluggish when its ready. However, the iPhone emulator in Mac OS takes around 10 seconds at most and its very smooth when its ready. Why is that? Is it something we will continue to see in the future or will this be resolved in the future?

This is not the common iMessage issue that was plaguing me when I made the switch from Apple to Android. This is specifically affecting one iphone user. When I send her a text individually it is not a problem. The other iPhone users don't have a problem receiving or sending to me.

However, the iPhone integrated well with my car radio, which has a USB port. The radio can play from USB, but then I have to navigate my folders from the radio. It's difficult, unintuitive, and less functional than playing music directly from the phone.
Is there an app that would fake out a connected device to make it think the Droid was an iPhone, and would let me use the Droid's music player interface to play music through the USB?

It's showing some signs of life and has working well enough for me to be in communication with the world, but overall it's more or less fucked. My contract with AT&T is up, so I jumped ship to Verizon and my HTC Incredible is arriving today. The phone stopped booting last night, however, so I have no way to access my contacts other than the iTunes backup I have on my computer. Is there any way to import these contacts into Android?
