The stock Android lock screen will display your battery status while your phone is charging; does anyone know how to have it display your current battery status while it is not charging?
This doesn't seems like a super difficult task to accomplish, I'm just unsure where I need to start to get things going. It would be so awesome if someone would actually help me.

I don't like Flyscreen because it is slow and bloated IMO and it doesn't even have a calendar agenda view, only a monthly calendar view from what I can tell.
I'd just like a simple calendar view (Like the Pure Calendar Agenda widget, but on the lock screen) without other battery draining features.
When the android device is powered off (shut down completely) and plugged in you can hit the power button briefly. This shows a battery with a certain part shaded in to presumably indicate how charged it is and I suppose if its charging or not. There are some dots below the battery. What do they show? There are 5 dots that progress from left to right (empty are area to full area), does this indicated that the battery is charging? Does the rate of progression indicate how fast its charging? Do the dots do something else if the battery is discharging? Is there are lighting bolt inside the battery if its charging?
I have searched and searched and never seen an explanation of this powered off screen, which are slightly different depending on devices (some have charge indicator (i.e., "90% charged") and some just have the dots, some have lightning bolt inside battery some do not).

I just installed widgetlocker and am having a play round with it. I've set up the widgets no probs.i'm enjoying customising.
1. If I have pattern lock enabled in the settings, when I unlock from widgetlocker, the next screen is the stock lock screen then the pattern lock screen. If i disable the pattern lock, when I unlock widgetlocker the phone is unlocked and there is no stock lock screen.I want to have widgetlocker then pattern lock - NO stock lock please.
2. When I click on a widget on widgetlocker that opens up an app (example audio manager), the next screen is the stock lock screen then the app.Again i don't want to see the stock lock. I was hoping it would open the app, then once closed go back to widgetlocker lock screen.
3. When a call has ended, the phone goes to the stock lock screen. Again same problem.I thought the whole point of widget locker would replace the stock lock screen. But it pops up all over. Of tried my best with the settings,
The main one is with the pattern lock, vital for phone security. But i dont want to have two lock screens and a pattern lock.
I had the phone set that when I was charging the phone the screen stayed on. Now I have done a reboot I can't remember how to set it like that.

What does clearing battery stats do? I'm just curious b/c I'm seeing a lot better battery life after wiping mine and it's just weird that some stats would affect it so much.
View 9 Replies View RelatedWell, I've been noticing a few more problems with my eris as of late (if you want to know the others look at my post history)I've been unable to get past the lock screen to display sometimes. I just got off the phone with a friend, it was a long call as the phone/battery had heated up a bit. Now, everything with the phone seemed to be okay, I went and pulled up the HTC battery widget and was around 34C. I've seen it get this high before and had no problems. Now, I locked the phone and a few minutes later I tried to unlock it. The unlock screen would display but the touch screen wouldn't not receive any of my input. The Menu button did not work either. I could push the end button time and again and the display wound turn on and off, but no touch input ever worked. I just had to do a battery pull to get into my phone.
I've also been noticing inside TaskPanel that the amount of available memory steadily declines even if no programs are running. I have mostly sense programs ignored and I've included timerriffic and beautiful widgets as they are always running and need to be so they will function. (beautiful widgets I just purchased yesterday and I've had this problem for a week or two) If I do successfully get past the lock screen the phone will be extremely slow and TaskPanel will report something like 20 megs of available memory, with no applications running. If I restart the phone I'm usually fine. I think it is happening around the 13-14 hour mark of my phone being turned on.
I'm assuming something is hogging up my phone and I just can't tell what it is. I don't have very many 3rd party applications installed. They are closed immediately after I'm done with them except for beautiful widgets and timerriffic. I've had timerrific since the 2nd day I've owned my Eris and it's never been a problem (not to say an update didn't hose it)Anyone have similar problems? Anyone think of anything that could be causing this? [side note: I did notice a few weeks back my exchange calendar was freaking out and draining my battery, but deleting and resetting up my exchange email fixed that and it doesn't seem to be a problem now]
i have go locker and it works fine until now whenever i lock my phone it locks but then the display keeps coming back on showing the lock screen. But if i uninstall it my reg works fine and i checked my settings over n over.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've had this phone for a week now and today it developed something new. When I plug in the battery charger, the touch screen becomes almost entirely non-responsive. When I attempt to slide the Lock Screen away it either won't move or I can get it to slightly move but it bounces right back or even sticks halfway. If I unplug the charger and wait about a minute it's back to working fine again. I've removed the battery a few times now to see if this helped but nothing seems to help. It didn't do this till today. Anyone else run into this problem and if so how did you remedy it?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm not getting the best battery life at the moment, have the Seidio "1750", and have seen conflicting reports on if wiping the battery stats really helps or not. Tried it this morning anyway, figured it couldn't hurt. Charged the phone, gave it a nice bump charge, and then booted into recovery and wiped the stats.

Am I using the wrong recovery image to the on in the thread, and if yes is there another way to do that? my battery life SUCKS.

She plugged the phone after it ran out of charge and saw this screen (pic attached) with the battery icon empty and a blue triangle with a crossed out battery symbol inside it. The phone would not power up.
We tried everything : checked charger, plug points, usb charging, taking out battery and cleaning contacts but everything is fine.
i flashed to the stock vanilla lock screen and want to go back to the original sense one. anyone know how to get that back?

When I press the power button, the screen turns off, but when I press it again, it turns back on directly to the home screen. No more lock screen. I can also do this by pressing the trackball but not the 'call' button.At first though this was great, but I've pocket dialed 2 people already.I tinkered around in the settings but didn't find anything. Just wanted to know if I can freeze the app "HTC Lock Screen 1.00" If I should expect some force closes or the phone will explode. and if it by any chance brings back the stock lock screen. If not if it will run right away after defrosting.
I do know about widgetlocker, tried it didnt like and I dont wanna have a bigger app or service running for just locking.
I feel like there should be a way. Anyway, let me know

How can I get the stock wallpaper I use for the theme/scene I have to also be the wallpaper for the lock screen? I haven't found it yet on the standard phone, and the battery widgets from the marketplace do far more than I'm looking for and seem to have the side effect of draining the battery anyway.
