i have go locker and it works fine until now whenever i lock my phone it locks but then the display keeps coming back on showing the lock screen. But if i uninstall it my reg works fine and i checked my settings over n over.

I have added a couple of soft keys through navigation_bar.xml in SystemUI.apk. The soft keys show great, but are also showing on the lockscreen, when the others "disappear".
The added ones are Menu and Search, the order is Home, Menu, Recent Apps, Back, Search. This is to be the same as my desire hard keys. I know, no point in it, but have just got used to the soft keys so much!
Anyway, here is my coding, I have removed the android:visibilty="invisble" attribute to no ill effects...I have also added the relevant strings and ids in their respective places..

Could it be to do with the ID's? (I know that when I made the center clock, I added the "@id/clock" and it made the clock "disappear" on the lockscreen, where taking it out the clock stayed in the status bar!)...
How to get back my old lock screen notification from 4.1.2 android (I9300XXEMG4)? After flashing to my new Stock ROM 4.3 (I9300XXUGMK6) i got different and so frustrating lock screen! What i must to change in android sistem to get back my old notification circles? I have old ROM extracted in .EXT4 file and mounted into "ext2explore" and all resources from it, also have fully rooted device on my new 4.3 andorid. I tried to replace "OmaDrmPopup.apk, OmaDrmPopup.odex" from old ROM, and also tried to replace "PopupuiReceiver.apk, and PopupuiReceiver.odex" but nothing happend. What .apk is responsable for that lock screen notifications i want? See attached images to understand my problem.

Old ROM: STOCK I9300XXEMG4 (android 4.1.2)
Recently my Desire has started doing something odd.I put it in standby mode (i.e locked screen,screen dark etc - by pressing the power button once) and around 50% of the time when I press the power button once again to wake it up,the four buttons at below the screen light up,but the screen takes up to 5-10 seconds to come on!Has anyone else ever had this sort of thing happen?It's really intermittent and slightly concerning.

I don't like Flyscreen because it is slow and bloated IMO and it doesn't even have a calendar agenda view, only a monthly calendar view from what I can tell.
I'd just like a simple calendar view (Like the Pure Calendar Agenda widget, but on the lock screen) without other battery draining features.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've been owning an android since Nexus one, then the S and then Galaxy Nexus till few days ago when i decided to buy a Galaxy Note from Ebay.
I am with verizon, so after i switched my sim card from my galaxy nexus to the new note 2, after few minutes, it keeps downloading / syncing some text messages. Suddenly out of nowhere these text messages appear with someone elses conversation. After few minutes some other contacts appear in my contacts list too. None i know.Reset the whole phone again, this time did not log into any account and the same thing happens.reset another time and this time, removed the sim card and connected with WiFi only and still all the stuff appeared.
Usually when I reset the phone to factory settings, it tuns off an on few times and acts weird for few minutes until all these messages and contacts appear.I have checked and i am not signed into any account?! Don't know how these text messages keep appearing
I don't use gmail app, I use normal email app like normal people who does not want to use 3 different email apps for 3 different accounts, so when I get an e-mail in Gmail and I delete it, it keeps coming back as new e-mail. When I open it it shows for a few seconds and then disappears, then new email count disappears. After I go back to using the phone new email appears again, then the same cycle..
View 4 Replies View RelatedWell, I've been noticing a few more problems with my eris as of late (if you want to know the others look at my post history)I've been unable to get past the lock screen to display sometimes. I just got off the phone with a friend, it was a long call as the phone/battery had heated up a bit. Now, everything with the phone seemed to be okay, I went and pulled up the HTC battery widget and was around 34C. I've seen it get this high before and had no problems. Now, I locked the phone and a few minutes later I tried to unlock it. The unlock screen would display but the touch screen wouldn't not receive any of my input. The Menu button did not work either. I could push the end button time and again and the display wound turn on and off, but no touch input ever worked. I just had to do a battery pull to get into my phone.
I've also been noticing inside TaskPanel that the amount of available memory steadily declines even if no programs are running. I have mostly sense programs ignored and I've included timerriffic and beautiful widgets as they are always running and need to be so they will function. (beautiful widgets I just purchased yesterday and I've had this problem for a week or two) If I do successfully get past the lock screen the phone will be extremely slow and TaskPanel will report something like 20 megs of available memory, with no applications running. If I restart the phone I'm usually fine. I think it is happening around the 13-14 hour mark of my phone being turned on.
I'm assuming something is hogging up my phone and I just can't tell what it is. I don't have very many 3rd party applications installed. They are closed immediately after I'm done with them except for beautiful widgets and timerriffic. I've had timerrific since the 2nd day I've owned my Eris and it's never been a problem (not to say an update didn't hose it)Anyone have similar problems? Anyone think of anything that could be causing this? [side note: I did notice a few weeks back my exchange calendar was freaking out and draining my battery, but deleting and resetting up my exchange email fixed that and it doesn't seem to be a problem now]
The stock Android lock screen will display your battery status while your phone is charging; does anyone know how to have it display your current battery status while it is not charging?
This doesn't seems like a super difficult task to accomplish, I'm just unsure where I need to start to get things going. It would be so awesome if someone would actually help me.
I have an Android 4.0 tablet, set up email and when I delete some - put them in the trash, and them empty the trash, they're still there when I look in that folder again.

View 15 Replies View RelatedIn the past, when listening to music on my Incredible, if I locked the phone the music would continue to play just fine. If I wanted to pause/play/skip a song, all I had to do was hit the power button and above the "Slide to unlock" bar there was a music control bar.
Now, my music still plays, but those buttons are gone from the lock screen. This is a pain because in order to pause my music when someone comes to my desk at work I have to hit the power button, unlock the phone, slide down the notifications window, wait for the music app to load then hit pause.
Anyone know how to get these buttons back?
For some reason, over night, my lock wallpaper has changed from the picture I had to the music control selector.
I have tried to change this back but it will not allow me to. Has anyone got any ideas?
After using the music player it remains on my lock screen until I reboot - is there any way to revert back to my normal lock screen picture without rebooting?
View 18 Replies View RelatedI am plan B and AVG security installed, both don't always work, I have pattern lock on the phone but even in pattern lock mode when i press and hold power button the phone gives me option to shutdown.
If someone steals my phone they will be able to shut it off without unlocking it since holding down power button still works. So is there a way to lock the power button from shutting off phone when the phone is in pattern unlock mode?
I am using Launcher Pro, and today installed custom icons for my dock (the Minimalist Design ones from the "What do your screens look like" or whatever thread). I have the option selected in LP to show me how many new texts I have, but since I put on these new custom icons, the red bubble isn't coming up in my dock. How do I fix this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI was searching online to see how to make a shortcut to toggle the 3G connection on and off without having to sift through multiple menus. I came across the method of having a long press on the power lock button to pull up the menu but mine does not show the network data on/off option and never has. It only shows
* Silent mode
* Airplane mode
* Power off
* Restart
Nothing else. Is there a way I can make a shortcut or some other way to ADD the network data on/off on this pull up menu from the power lock button? By the way why would my phone not have this option from the start when the phone came with Gingerbread and was updated to ICS 4.0.4? I have Sprint so they call this the Epic 4G Touch, so not sure if it was Sprint that buggered this from the other SGS2s that have this feature or not.
I just purchased my Droid and have lots of questions, especially why do emails keep coming back on even after empying the trash? This is so frustrating. Anyway, I love my Droid and am looking forward to learning a lot on this forum.

View 28 Replies View RelatedWhen I got my new Eris, the Verizon guy offered to swap my contacts from my old phone to the new one (as usual). He did so. After getting home, I noticed he'd also downloaded all the accumulated contacts 9 mostly crap) from my Google Mail account as well. I went and deleted them all but now I keep getting a notification saying that I deleted TOO MANY? It then gives me three choices, one of which is delete them. The notification keeps coming back.
