Android :: Copilot Live USA - Incoming Call Stops Navigation

Today I confirmed my suspicions about Copilot Live - an incoming call causes navigation to stop. Upon completing the phone call, the app loads - not where it left off, but from scratch - and then calculates the route from your current position.
Is this behavior unique to my installation? Or the Motorola Droid?
I should add that NDrive also stops upon an incoming call, but does not automatically resume afterwards.
I'm starting to wonder if this is some remnant of development for some non-multitasking phone OS that I won't name.

MY Evo stops ringing after a brief half ring on an incoming call. It doesn't always do it. But I notice it more now.

Does copilot live 8 run from SD in 2.2? It's a huge app on the phone's memory and I hope I can run it from the SD card when 2.2 comes to my desire from my service provider.

I'm using Copilot Live USA on my Droid and quite often when I'm testing it at home, choosing different routing options or making other changes to see what effect they have, the app will just close (sometimes after being unresponsive), leaving me at the home screen. I had a similar problem while using it in the car today - a call came in and after the call was completed, Copilot was closed. In all cases, long-pressing Home and selecting Copilot from the recent apps list, results in the app starting from scratch - displaying the splash screen and so on.
Since Copilot takes up a whopping 33+ MB (effective, according to system panel, plus another 12+ MB shared), my first thought is that Android is killing it to allow some other process to run. This is despite the fact that the Droid is listed on the Copilot web site as a compatible device. Is this a common issue with Copilot on the Droid, and is it less common on phones with more RAM?

I bought CoPilot Live 8 thru Google market for my G1 using one of my gmail addresses. I had to uninstall it as I ran out of memory on my G1.I temporarily removed other programs to gain the space needed to reinstall it so I could deactivate it per coPilot's FAQ that said this was necessary in order to transfer/install it on a different device. I then uninstalled it from my G1.I went to Google market to download the installation file to my EVO 4G (which uses a different gmail address) but there is only an otpion to buy it again - there is no free/trial install file available to download to which I could add my product key to activate it. There is no trial download file available on CoPilot's website.I initiated a support ticket several days ago and have not heard from them. Seemingly they already have a procedure to do this as their FAQ says it is doable.

Ever since the latest CoPilot Live update, I cannot listen to music while using the application. As soon as I start the application, the music stops, and won't start back until I close the app. For now, I use Google Navigate, but I would rather use CoPilot, which I paid for.

Has anyone purchased Copilot Live 8.2.0.368 and installed it over the top of 8.2.0.218. I have Copilot 8.2.0.218 and Australian maps installed and wanted to purchase the Nth American ones for US$2.99 from the market. Will doing this upgrade copilot to 8.2.0.368 and then will my current maps still work?

Before the update to 2.1 I had a couple installed (SlideIT and another) and they worked fine, but now they don't, even after a reinstall

I just upgraded To the incredible so it looks like I'll be posting here from now on. So yeah , My problem is when I'm listening to music and running navigation the navigation voice stops the music and it doesn't come back on I have to push play. Now coming from a rooted eris I had seen this problem in a rom or two, But now its happening on a stock incredible what can I do? Does anyone know of a fix? I mean I know I can trade it in for another refurb but that's kind of a last resort.

If I am listening to music on the stock HTC player, and at the same time am running navigation, the voice prompts in navigation are causing the music to stop playing. Usually the music would fade back in after the voice prompt, but the music is completely stopping and has to be restarted manually. Not fun on an 8 hour drive...

When I'm on a call and a 2nd call comes in, my phone doesn't ring or anything. Is there anyway to change this so that I know when I have a call waiting without having to look at the screen (which is usually pressed up against my ear)?

I have an unlimited data plan through T-Mobile. I am using my phone in the United States, West Coast. The issue I am having is when I am using the Tethering for root user and I receive or send a call, my connection seems to pause. This also causes web pages to not load and the 3G or E icon goes away from the Status bar at the top of the screen. Does anyone know of a way for me to have the data connection continue when a cell call comes in?

I recently just rooted my phone to 2.0d and added the live wallpapers to it. Well after I added the live wallpapers my google navigation wasn't working properly. Whenever I try to use it, it doesn't show my route like where I'm going. It looks like just a black screen in the middle and the voice doesn't work.

I have written a small player application. I want to handle incoming calls in my application. Actually while player plays some media file, if an incoming call comes, then my player should mute the volume and when the incoming call is done, the player should unmute the volume.
