Trying to find a keyboard that will work with Copilot Live 8
Before the update to 2.1 I had a couple installed (SlideIT and another) and they worked fine, but now they don't, even after a reinstall
For example, if I try to input an address the following happens...
Typing a b c d will result in aabaabcaabcd

I downloaded it on my computer an tried to copy it to the mobile - with the same result. I just see the first picture of the animation. (it's about 2 MB)

My dictionary is in spanish, but the phone main language is set to english; is this the problem?
If so, it should not be. Messaging should use dictionary and not phone language.
also, is there really a need for limiting character counts when using special characters? (YuS it needs more info, but doesn't the Standard for character representation take care of this)
i set it and can here it, but when i receive a message it just vibrates

View 4 Replies View RelatedGot a brand new phone yesterday. Upgraded it to Android 2.1 before using it. In general, phone is functioning properly, however none of the applications (i.e. YouTube, Gmail, Maps) will work over the 3G connection, but the Web Browser does function ok. The apps will work over WiFi (which isn't much use if you're trying to use maps or gmail on the go). I have tried restarting phone (battery out restart). It is not a signal strength issue, I am getting HSPA with full bars and it still times out with "no connection detected" (or variations thereof, depending on the actual application). I can work around this using the web browser based clients for these apps, but as they aren't streamlined they are a PITA to use.

But...
After the phone has been off, the camera works fine the first time I start it.
And if I close the camera application and start it again straight away it also works fine.
But if I wait for maybe half an hour or more and then open the camera application, the phone reboots itself.
This is very repeatable and it looks like there's something wrong in the software or so.
xperia mini can't send messages to multiple recipients what gives?

It has a problem that every few days or so the screen locks up and becomes unresponsive and the only way to reset it is to do a battery pull. My question basically is should I take it back to the shop, or is it likely to need to have android reinstalled or something?
It did this on the very first startup after unboxing, it froze up when choosing the language setting, so obviously it is unrelated to any other apps i have installed. At the time I didnt think it was too much of a problem but then as I say, it started doing it every few days.
I am not able to copy the photos from mobile to my computer.I have tried reinstalling the PC Companion suite and also have updated to mobile to Android version 2.0.The folder where the photos reside in the mobile is not coming up in the Phone Card Memory,Can any one helpe to sort out this issue? Or Is there ant seetings option which I am overlooking?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have tried the app funninly enough called Photo Zoom but the quality is terrible and does not support the remaining features of the in current software such as taking photos in low light etc. Also can anyone tell me if the update will perhaps increase the ammount of bluetooth headsets that r compatible with the mini pro. I have 2 very good headsets at the moment from previous phones but unfortuneately my mini pro cannot find them.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a mini pro...i had issues earlier as i didnt have an active data connection on my mini pro..but nw as i have it...not one inbuilt app is working! Facebook,gmail,gtalk,android market,youtube etc. dont work at all..Each of them gives an error that you dont have an active connection! All of the above does open via the normal browser on mini pro..but not through these builtin apps!
