Several users reported that after starting our application on HTC Magic it only shows a blue screen with music and sound effects. It work well on G1 with 1.5 though. The application is using SurvaceView/ OpenGL ES with { EGL10.EGL_DEPTH_SIZE, 16, EGL10.EGL_NONE } EGLConfig attributes.

I'm having a spot of trouble trying out the ViPER4Android DSP plugin on my phone. While I have the corresponding apps and drivers installed, I'm unable to enable the DSP effect owing to fact that there is no "Music Effects" option in the Sound settings menu.
Is there some way to restore this option to the menu? I'm using an AOSP-based stock 4.0.4 ROM on my Huawei Ascend G600. Perhaps it can be done through the terminal/shell scripts or an init.d script?
I have pretty common question: is there any bug-free way to implement sound effects in a game?Or we only have unpredictable SoundPool with its horrible bugs? Or MediaPlayer that can only play one sound at once and which is not solution for a game at all?In fact, it is disturbing question for numerous developers right now!

I got my app to record an play back but I am stuck an not sure where do go from here. I have been Googling for days now trying to find a open source audio library or some way to change the audio after I record it. I currently have it setup to play back using SoundPool an I't lets me speed up an slow down the audio. I would like to do things like change pitch an add echo etc. I will appreciate any responses because I am totally stumped right now.

When I got to the phone, The home screen was normal. I held the home button to see what apps were recently opened and none of them were music related. I made a folder called 'Drake' within my Music folder on my SD card, and when you go to the music app and than the library, both his albums show up (So Far Gone and Thank Me Later) that I've created. I made a folder for 'Kanye West', I made two folders for his album (Good Ass Job and Late Registration) but the album folders aren't showing, just the MP3 inside. What happen to my folders? Did I do something wrong? I did everything for 'Kanye West' folder the same thing for Drake, but only the Drake folder and the content within it are showing up properly.

I recently noticed that on my EVO screen, there is a very small blue vertical line running from the top to the bottom of the screen. Its noticeable sometimes when im searching the web or with dark backgrounds.
Do you think I should return it? Or is there a program that can fix stuck pixels...
I am having some serious issues with my Incredible. My camera is now blue. It was working fine, but now it will not go clear at all. It is very very blue. Should I take it back or is there a setting in the phone I am missing. I have made sure the effects are set to "None" and I have also restarted my phone. Nothing seems to work.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI dropped my phone that created a crack (a new crack stemming from an older one which gave me no problems) which lead to me not being able to use the very bottom of my screen (really just the space bar area). The crack was slightly above said area. Then this "blue ink" smudge began forming and took over the bottom 1/4 inch of the screen. When I woke up the next morning, the only portion of the screen still visible was the middle third, as the top and bottom were now dark blue. By the end of my shift that morning, the screen was completely black. I have heard a screen replacement may be all I need, but I am worried that the digitizer (I hope I'm using the right terminology, referring to the touch screen capability of the phone) may have been damaged as again I could not use the bottom part of my screen.

Now, I had got a problem with my device once when I restarted it. My phone just showed me the splashimage for about 2-3 mins and showed a blue screen, which just stuck to it. I removed its battery & restarted it, but it just booted up the same blue screen again.
I solved it by restoring my system.img by my previous nandroid backup. But still, I'm curious to know why and how the blue screen appears.

So I don't own a captivate, but I do own another Galaxy S phone, the Vibrant.The vibrant forums, people aren't really responding to the blue tint. So i'm wondering if you guys on the captivate have noticed that everything that should be white, such as a white broweser window, is actually tinted blue?If this is your first smartphone you won't notice probably, but if you own a prior LCD smartphone, try putting your screens next to eachother. She plugged the phone after it ran out of charge and saw this screen (pic attached) with the battery icon empty and a blue triangle with a crossed out battery symbol inside it. The phone would not power up.
We tried everything : checked charger, plug points, usb charging, taking out battery and cleaning contacts but everything is fine.

But after i reboot a bluee screen appears and i'm stuck there.. No even entering to recovery mode (vol plus+ and Power). I pulled the battery off and put it again, Still after the logo the blue screen appears and stays..
How to get to the recovery..? I had taken a backup to my SD card, but as i am not able to get in to the Recovery mode i'm not able to restore the back up...
