I recently noticed that on my EVO screen, there is a very small blue vertical line running from the top to the bottom of the screen. Its noticeable sometimes when im searching the web or with dark backgrounds.
Do you think I should return it? Or is there a program that can fix stuck pixels...

This problem happened few hours before i rooted my pad. Well the problem is a vertical green line that appeared in my screen and dont go off. I tried to use stuck pixel solutions and a factory reset (I didn't tried to put back in stock rom, I don't know how to do that).
The line is very perceptive on a pink background, but completely hide by a green background.

Is This a lcd problem for sure or a sofware problem? If it is a hardware problem, can i ask for a replacement from asus? For get a replacement, need i to put back in stock firmware or just a factory reset is enough?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a green line (Vertically) about a 1/3 of the way from center to the right. I got my phone when I woke up this morning and unplugged it. I then went back to sleep for 30 minutes, when I awoke I turned on my phone. For a few seconds it was fine but after about 30-40 seconds the line appeared with a flickering gesture, then a consistent line.

Is it normal in all Cliqs for the screen-half to be very slightly moveable in the up-and-down vertical direction, both in open and closed position? I'm not talking about inward and outward, but rather up and down on the vertical y-axis like from the ear speaker at the top to the mouth mic at the bottom. When i try to turn on the tabletI get a blue screen that asks to reboot and a series of requests to update in Various ways. When I reboot it comes on and is glitchy. It turns on in safe mode. View 6 Replies View RelatedI dropped my phone that created a crack (a new crack stemming from an older one which gave me no problems) which lead to me not being able to use the very bottom of my screen (really just the space bar area). The crack was slightly above said area. Then this "blue ink" smudge began forming and took over the bottom 1/4 inch of the screen. When I woke up the next morning, the only portion of the screen still visible was the middle third, as the top and bottom were now dark blue. By the end of my shift that morning, the screen was completely black. I have heard a screen replacement may be all I need, but I am worried that the digitizer (I hope I'm using the right terminology, referring to the touch screen capability of the phone) may have been damaged as again I could not use the bottom part of my screen.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have got one big problem with the touch input of my Hero. The screen is too sensitive. I can navigate on the screen while my finger is about 5 cm away from it. I can choose what I want, but the screen takes the right horizontal position of my finger, but not the vertical. Anything I want to take, the screen takes the one on the bottom of the screen. The same when I want to write a message or something like this. I choose the "W" or "E", but the screen takes the "X" or "C". If the display goes on Standby and I wake it again, everything is good for a few seconds, but than the same mistake comes again. I already tried to wipe and install a new MCR, but nothing helps. I think, but I am not sure, that I have that problem after I have installed the htc keyboard on android 2.1, as I tried it for a few hours.

Now, I had got a problem with my device once when I restarted it. My phone just showed me the splashimage for about 2-3 mins and showed a blue screen, which just stuck to it. I removed its battery & restarted it, but it just booted up the same blue screen again.
I solved it by restoring my system.img by my previous nandroid backup. But still, I'm curious to know why and how the blue screen appears.

She plugged the phone after it ran out of charge and saw this screen (pic attached) with the battery icon empty and a blue triangle with a crossed out battery symbol inside it. I recently rooted my Sprint Galaxy S3 (4.12) but decided unroot it yesterday using Odin 3.07. I flashed a stock rom from Team Epic, but ended up with a black screen with a blue led when I tried to turn it on. I have access to both download mode and stock recovery mode (no CWM or TWRP).

But after i reboot a bluee screen appears and i'm stuck there.. No even entering to recovery mode (vol plus+ and Power). I pulled the battery off and put it again, Still after the logo the blue screen appears and stays..
How to get to the recovery..? I had taken a backup to my SD card, but as i am not able to get in to the Recovery mode i'm not able to restore the back up...
Was playing with the touch to take feature on my DI, when suddenly the camera started displaying flashing red and blue screen. Not sure what happened there. Battery out resets did not fix it. I did a complete data reset and it returned to normal. Anyone else experience this?
