I don't know if this setting was here before 2.2 or not but I just found it. The opition for the phone to make sound when locking or unlocking it. I now hear a simple clicking sound. Does anyone now how the change these 2 sounds, I have a few mechanical sounds that would compliment the Droid theme. The transformers sound effect would be the shit when unlocking...

View 8 Replies View RelatedAnyone notice that the unlock/ lock button on top of the phone seems to go deeper in? meaning its not as tight/ it works still but doesn't seem the same as when i got it first? im afraid that it will stop working at one point. i am past the 30 day and would have to get a certified like new. i called tech support and they said they have no replacement phones in their warehouse currently and i would have to call back maybe tomorrow.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOn my blackberry and all previous phones, I was able to customize a text banner, and I'm not finding a way to do it on my Motorola Droid. I usually put my email address on the lock/unlock screen so that if some honest person was to find my phone, they could email me to let me know they found it. Otherwise, it would just be lost. I know that there are theme apps that I can install, and I'm not sure if they have that capability, but if anything, I'd prefer not to have to download any apps to do this. I've also thought about creating a wallpaper that has that information in it, and setting that as my wallpaper. It seems like too much work.

View 10 Replies View RelatedOkay, so I originally noticed that 2.2 now had a feature that allows you to assign a noise when locking/ unlocked your screen when I force updated my original Droid 1. When it came time to get the Droid 2 I went into settings and made sure that the option was still there and it was. So I set it and locked the screen, didn't hear a thing. Unlocked the screen and still didn't hear anything. Put the phone up to my ear and locked, and there was the ever so slightest clicking noise that was almost non existent (that's how low it was). So I instantly made sure that all volumes were set to high and they were. At that point I figured that's just how it was, and there was no changing it. I was kinda upset.And then today came!!! Out of nowhere, the phone now makes a nice and loud lock and unlock sound. It's so random, I don't understand why it would change its mind out of nowhere.

When I change the media volume there is a song that plays that I like. So where is the file stored. I am rooted and have a samsung phone.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm having a spot of trouble trying out the ViPER4Android DSP plugin on my phone. While I have the corresponding apps and drivers installed, I'm unable to enable the DSP effect owing to fact that there is no "Music Effects" option in the Sound settings menu.
Is there some way to restore this option to the menu? I'm using an AOSP-based stock 4.0.4 ROM on my Huawei Ascend G600. Perhaps it can be done through the terminal/shell scripts or an init.d script?
Several users reported that after starting our application on HTC Magic it only shows a blue screen with music and sound effects. It work well on G1 with 1.5 though. The application is using SurvaceView/ OpenGL ES with { EGL10.EGL_DEPTH_SIZE, 16, EGL10.EGL_NONE } EGLConfig attributes.

I got my app to record an play back but I am stuck an not sure where do go from here. I have been Googling for days now trying to find a open source audio library or some way to change the audio after I record it. I currently have it setup to play back using SoundPool an I't lets me speed up an slow down the audio. I would like to do things like change pitch an add echo etc. I will appreciate any responses because I am totally stumped right now.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI am trying to unlock my phone so I can turn off the stream I am listening to in the app StreamFurious Pro but I can not. When I tap the red button right of the track ball, the lock screen comes up, but then when I swipe down it only slides part of the way and then starts to shimmy or bounce up and down. I can see the browser window I last had open below it, but I cant get to anything because the lock won't slide all the way down. Even when that grey bar does get all the way gone, it bounces back a second later.
The menu button does not respond. If I hit the red button again to send it to sleep, it does. Letting it sit does not help. When I hit the red button again, it either shows the grey bar you grab still bouncing, or the lock screen again, but the same thing then happens. I have had streamFurious Pro for awhile and never had this issue. I have not added any new apps since yesterday AM and used my phone just fine between then and now.
