Are there DivX codecs for the Dolphin HD browser? I have found some sites where I watch tv shows, megavideo is good but you can only watch so much before you can't watch anymore so I found another that actually has better quality but there files are divx files, I need some codecs like I had to get for my computer. I got Rockplayer but that does not work to stream them.

I just recently came over from Blackberries and first I want to say I am loving the phone. My question, I didn't find anything by searching is, will the browser not antimate. Specifically I would like the radar to antimate but it never does. Is this a limitation of the phone?

I'd like to set the homepage of the default browser on my Droid2 to a simple local HTML file. From what I've found this should be possible again, but I can't seem to get it to play nice with me. Is it possible now (without too much monkeying around)? While I'm thinking of it: are the brower's bookmarks saved as a webpage? That might make things more convenient.

When try to do Audio play back from Android UI on zoom2 board, WAV & AMR-NB - default PV software codecs are selected and playback is fine. MP3- Hardware codec has been chosen by PV player, player does not come up and playback is not happening.

View 17 Replies View RelatedThis is 2010. I refuse to believe that you can only play movies/video files that have .avi, .mp4, .mpg, .mkv file formats by converting. I remember Sony was slow on the uptake when they started the media server streaming which I use on a daily basis at home now.Is there a program that will decode the files as you stream them? Any codecs to install on the Droid X? I have thousands of video files and "converting" is time consuming not to mention creating two video files instead of one to play on devices. Converting is BS and whoever thought "Let's just have the users convert the video files" needs to take a long walk off a short pier.

View 7 Replies View RelatedThat would be nice video player if you could play compressed divx movies without encoding them in a program to h264 or mp4.One way I know you can play divx on a G1 Phone is to take your Divx movie and convert it using a program called XvidforPsp then put the video settings for the screen resolution for the androids phone or just select apples iphone presets and encode the video in h264 or mp4 then move the file to your memory card and open it in video player.I did this and it works great for watching your divx movies on a G1.Just whish i didnt have to do the extra steps.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI keep trying to get my device registered with DivX so I can play DivX movies, but i'm having no luck. I go through the registration process and transfer the registration movie to my Ally and play it with no problems. But after that, I can't transfer and play any of the DivX movies I've bought on my Ally. And even if I go back and try to replay the registration movie again, it tells me my device is not registered and can't play the movie.Now this is no big deal because I doubt I will ever really watch a movie on my Ally except maybe on a business trip, but I was just curious if anyone has had any luck getting their device registered and/or playing a DivX movie on their Ally? I'd just like to get it setup in case I ever needed it if I could.

For now I just want to use the H.264 codec for testing, unless the mp3 or aac codecs provide functions for sending the audio to the device's speaker in which case I would prefer one of those.I have the NDK installed along with Cygwin, GNU Make, and GNU Awk. I can't figure out what I need to do from here though. I'm downloading the entire OpenCORE tree right now but I don't even know how to build it or make Eclipse plugin know it needs to include the files.An example or a tutorial would be much appreciated.EDIT:It looks like I can use JNI like P/Invoke which would mean I don't have to build the OpenCORE libraries myself. However, I can't find any documentation on the names of the libraries I need to load. I'm also confused as to how to do it. Couldn't you just use something like System.loadLibrary("opencore.so")?

I am from India and i took a 3G connection, the thing that shows up in my mobile is E and sometimes H.
I am really confused whether E is 3G coz i gets good browsing speed in it.
Also, i downloaded 3G Watch dog and when i watched the usage through it, even if i am not using anything, it still show download and upload. Why so?
