I did a search and all I can find are apps. to backup itunes files. Is there an app. that allows you to download and play itunes music (that I've already payed for)from my MAC to my Android? Someone told me there is an app. That makes a MAC think it's downloading to an iphone or ipod. True? Not true?

I currently have an iPhone 4S and I am probably going to get a Galaxy Note 2 when it comes out for Verizon. In order to prepare for this, I set up Google Play Music to upload my music so it can be ready for me when I get my new phone (I like it better than Samsung's default music player). Only one problem: protected AAC files (or DRM) can't be transferred to Play Music. I tried converting my music with 2 different DRM converters, but they were free trials, and it only would convert 1:00 of each song and then stop. Is there any free way to convert each protected song completely, along with protected videos? Also, does music on Play Music eat up an Android device's space? I have over 12 GB of music and movies and I don't want to have barely any any space left on a 16 GB device if a 32 or 64 GB ever comes out, minus the SD card.

Recently I got her to jump ship to the DI and so far she is loving it. My request now is, what is the EASIEST program to sync music with? (Obviously, it needs to be Linux compatible) I've never been a music/mp3 listener so I'm not real fluent on the best methods for storing/playing music. Do you keep all your music in one folder on your phone or SD card? Do you organize it via folders? Do you use the stock music player app? The thing is, once the songs are on my phone, they will not play through my earphones but through the speakers instead. It does that only with the songs purchased on iTunes. In my car, iTunes songs play through the car speakers but at a very low volume, even if both the volume in the car and on the phone are at max. Now what to do?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI love the native music player that comes stock on android (via google music). I also use a mac, and I'm in Canada (so I can't take full advantage of the google music service, I.E. storing music in the cloud and managing it that way. In order to put music on my android phone i simply select the songs in my itunes and and drag them into the music folder in Android File Transfer. This works, however, there is one problem: the songs aren't organized into folders, which makes it extremely difficult to organize / delete music from my phone when I want to, as the songs are organized as 01 01 01 01 01 01 02 02 02 02 02 02 03 03 03 03 etc. I tried to right click the music folder and say new folder but it won't create that folder in the music folder. I tried moving the songs into that folder then dragging it into the music folder but that won't work.
I really don't want to use double twist, because I have in the past, and I don't really like it all that much. I just want my files to be organized into folders so that when I can delete them later when I want to.
I just updated to the final version of froyo yesterday, does anyone know how to sync music in itunes with it?
