I need many hours of video for my 2 year old for long flights. Is there anywhere in the android universe with downloadable video content similar to itunes and amazon? My iTunes and amazon video collection will not play on android device.

Now i tried to play a video file .3gp from the internet youtube link via my android device ! not emulator. And it worked! But when i tried to play a video file .3gp or .mp4( i converted the mp4 from 3gp ) its not working. Im getting error "Cannot play video Sorry, this video cannot be played"
Tried to play with the link to my device wich is: I:DCIM100MEDIAVIDEO0030.3gp or .mp4 or tried this: I:/DCIM/100MEDIA/VIDEO0030.3gp with "" like: "I:/DCIM/100MEDIA/VIDEO0030.3gp ";
I tried to remove the I: but it didn't change anything.This is the main code im using to play the video files on my device. And there some lines i marked with // wich i used to play from the internet and im not using now.

Okay, I just purchased the first episode of the Walking Dead off of itunes and am downloading it to my old powerbook. I would love to be able to transfer the video to my Evo and then play it over my hdmi cable onto my tv.Is this possible? How easy is it to do? I'm hoping that stock media player can handle it.

The thing is, once the songs are on my phone, they will not play through my earphones but through the speakers instead. It does that only with the songs purchased on iTunes. View 4 Replies View RelatedI currently have an iPhone 4S and I am probably going to get a Galaxy Note 2 when it comes out for Verizon. In order to prepare for this, I set up Google Play Music to upload my music so it can be ready for me when I get my new phone (I like it better than Samsung's default music player). Only one problem: protected AAC files (or DRM) can't be transferred to Play Music. I tried converting my music with 2 different DRM converters, but they were free trials, and it only would convert 1:00 of each song and then stop. Is there any free way to convert each protected song completely, along with protected videos? Also, does music on Play Music eat up an Android device's space? I have over 12 GB of music and movies and I don't want to have barely any any space left on a 16 GB device if a 32 or 64 GB ever comes out, minus the SD card.

How to Play Purchased iTunes Music on an Android Smartphone?
If you have an HTPC (home theater pc) you can use "Orb". The Orb live app doesn't work on the Evo yet, but I can watch all my shows using the Orb mobile website and set the stream to flash. Seems to cut out if the signal is switching between 3g and 4g (like on the road). Also, if you use your phone to initiate a torrent on your HTPC, you can't watch it until you log into your HTPC with "logmein" or something similar and click *refresh* on the orb server app. Also, doesn't stream WMC (windows media center) recordings in flash format (any know how to fix?).
For pictures and music, "Pogoplug" is what I use. It's a user friendly NAS (network attached storage) with a web interface. Just buy the adapter and use an old usb hard drive and you have an NAS that you can use from any internet capable device. Pogoplug android app is great! Warning: Do not use pogoplug for movies! It takes 6 hours to convert a 2 hour movie into a stream-ready-movie. That means once your torrent is downloaded, you can't watch it till blueray is obsolete.
Anyone try other solutions? Homepipe? iTunes?
Not a single type of video is playable on my phone. Youtube.com, YouTube App, videos from my phone's SD Card, videos I recorded with this phone a few days ago, nothing. Videos I was able to watch on my phone before also suddenly stopped working. I also can't record videos.
On the other hand, my camera works perfectly, so does the music player.
I haven't added any weird adds or anything of the sort. I've attached screenshots of my "About Phone" info, and two other screenshots of what it looks like when I try to play videos on the YouTube App and videos that are directly saved on my phone.

Since then, I've done the following:
-Rebooted the system and re-installed the latest Kernel version.
-Uninstalled and re-installed YouTube.
-Installed MX Player. This solved the problem I faced while playing videos from my phone, but still can't watch videos from YouTube.
-Went through my Apps and found that I'm missing the Video Player app (click picture)
-Factory Reset to no avail.
I've had this phone for about a month and a half, and installed ICS on it on day 3 or so. Ever since, the videos were working properly, lagless and flawlessly, just a few days ago problems started appearing.
Perhaps the Video Player apk would do? I can't seem to find it anywhere for my phone.
I'm looking for a browser that can play a embedded WMV video. I bought a ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T for my wife and she wants to use it to do her study modules and as soon as you click on the link to play the video it just doesn't and just looks like a plugin is missing. I have yet to find anything that will work. A standalone video player is not what I need. It has to be a browser that supports the WMV format I think.

I have copied music files to my phone SD card, all the songs from the playlist and when look at artist, or other views it see that these are on device, but when go to the playlist it does not, also if I remove a song from the playlist from the web it still shows on device.
I don't want to download songs to device from the play cloud, like to move them over from PC. also do not want to stream from the cloud all the time, I listen to music too much to use that much data.
I want to just use the native play music app from google, but the on device functions are not up to par and end up using apps like power amp etc.

I have 2 Android stick devices (the iMito MX2) on my 2 TVs, and it's a guess which one will actually show up in the store at any given time. I've named them two different things, but they still don't both show up. I've tried a bunch of apps that hide root, or temporarily unroot, and this game somehow can still see it. All I can find online is Glu Mobile is doing this cuz they think a rooted device is capable of hacking their game.....even though it's server sided. Any way to bypass this, or hide my root from this game?

I'm from India and we do not have full play store. As soon as I login even when using USA VPN, play store shows me only apps and not the full version. as soon as i logout i can again view full play store.
Till 2 days ago I was able to access full site after login. On same PC when I use my brother's id I can see full play store. Something wrong with my account. It seems like Google has blocked my account for these services. M not able to make any purchases other than from App section.
