Just wondering if anyone knows of an app that you can make a wallpaper for your phone with the pictures on your phone all while using your phone? I did some searching and could only come up with apps that just had wallpaper databases.

Just a quick question about making pictures from the gallery your wallpaper? Is there any way to get it to use the whole picture. as it stands, whenever I try to use a picture for my wallpaper, it makes me crop the picture, and no matter what I do, the crop box never lets me use the whole picture, its like there's a size limit or something.

I downloaded an image from commons on my phone. I then hit settings->personalize->home wallpaper->Photos and then select the image when it appears. I get the confirmation popup "the picture has been set as your wallpaper" but when I hit the home key nothing has changed.
If I select any image from "photos" it does this, but if I select HTC or Live wallpapers it works fine.
When i try and set one of my pictures from my gallery as a wallpaper it also makes me crop it first? Is there no fit to screen option? i even tried resizing the image to wallpaper resolution but still does same!

View 2 Replies View RelatedAnnoying that when I go to select a wallpaper, the "Pictures" option pulls up every single image on my SD card (icons for apps, CD art, etc.), when all I want it to do it pull images from my "Wallpaper" folder.
Is there any way to customize what images get pulled? Can folders (like CD art) be hidden from gallery view so that they don't show up in the "Pictures" list?
Multipicture live wall paper is the coolest wallpaper I have used to date. It allows you to set a different wallpaper for each screen! I have been looking for something like this since last November.

The Remotecall app in Playstore still requires me to pick up my phone in order to actually hear something..
its got all the other features i'd like to use: answer calls from my PC, make calls from pc (from , for example, the outlook contactlist), call Log capability; but i have to pick up my phone when i probably can just hear it through my headphone (connected to PC)
I think i should be looking for some sort of voip server on my phone and let my computer act as voip client, but i'm not entirely sure about that.
Is it possible to make a folder in the apps and then put all the system apps icons (better keyboard, android icons pack, font packs, etc.) in it so the are hidden?

So far, the only thing I've been able to get back successfully is a tiny bitmap picture. I've found several other posts related to this topic that have code that is reported to work, but it does not work for me. I'm hoping someone can steer me in the right direction. Ultimately, I want to be able to get the picture back and do two things with it: create a 64x64 icon that is displayed by the Android application, and upload the picture to a web application. I'm running this on the emulator using Android 2.0

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to make an application which will upload pictures to a website. I need to let the user browse through the pictures they want to upload and select them. However, when I try to use the MediaStore I always get an empty cursor.
I created an SD CARD image and used that with the emulator. I know one image exists in /sdcard/media. I copied it using an image manipulation tool (winimage). And, I can see the image when I use the command "ls / sdcard/media" in the terminal application of the phone.

Am I missing something here?
