I know there is an app called Gmote for music and video. But is there one for pictures. And is there an app to upload/download pictures to and from the computer. Sorry if this has been asked again. I searched for a thread. I figured I wasn't the first person to want this but I don't see anything.

Is there an app that you would install on Tablet to run as service (and so small footprint), then you access a web page from PC or other device over internet, click a button and that takes screenshot of whatever there is on the Tablet with the server installed, downloads it and displays in a window in the browser?
So it doesn't need to stream or allow for remote control, only take screenshot of remote tablet and view it locally.Since ICS has screenshot feature built in, maybe it wouldn't even require root?
Is there a way to remotely view the screen on my Android device? I'm interested in giving training classes to business owners that have smartphones but don't know how powerful they are. It would be very beneficial to me to be able to show them what i'm doing, as I do it, on my computer screen or a projector.

If it were on a linux PC I would be installing GThumb, on windows ACDSEE. I have tried Photo Burst. It crashes and I had to reset the phone. I have tried Picture Viewer but the latest version does not pan at all. The only way to do something like this with the stock viewer is to have all your photos in the root of the sdcard in folders or within download. Not really the neatest way of doing this.

There is all kinds of apps to locate it thru GPS, but if you don't have a signal it`s no good. I would rather wipe it and get a new one rather than have someone else looking thru my contacts.

Is there an app that allows you to remotely connect to another person's phone and manipulate the interface using your own phone or a PC? We use a program called Crossloop to do it for PC stuff, connecting her computer to me via the internet so I can do tech support type stuff on her computer as if I was there. I'm hoping there's something similar for Android. Yes I know she should learn on her own, but she's stubborn.

(preferably works with GPS AND cell tower location, because I don't have GPS on most of the time.) It would be nice to be able to remotely lock it as well... looks like there are some options available but I'm not sure which one works. I use SplashID, but since my Gmail is on there, that would be bad if it fell into the wrong hands. Is there an App to remotely erase all my data? Or, what about an App that can remotely sign out of Gmail? That would be ideal. I use the "pattern password thing (touch password)", but just in case someone cracks that I want to be able to remotely log out of Gmail. Can I do that?

I click it and it looks like it tries to send me to the m.facebook.com mobile site... except every time I click a picture, I get the following error: "The page you requested cannot be displayed right now. It may be temporarily unavailable, the link you clicked on may be broken or expired, or you may not have permission to view this page." I have had my DInc for two days now, and have not yet been able to view photos that are published to my news feed! And it's not just my cousin's photos, it's any photos on the news feed... even ones I post!

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Sony Xperia has taken it upon itself, along with facebook to download a lot of photos from facebook "friends"- most of whom are friends of friends of friends(etc). I want to delete them, but cant find out where they are saved. When I try to delete them from my album, it will give me the option of deleting any foto I WANT that I've put on, but not the BLOAT rubbish of people/places/brick walls etc that I dont want. I've now disabled Fbook to stop any more.

I have Wave Secure and it doesn't have an option to turn my GPS on remotely, Lookout Mobile Security is the same way and Where's My Droid app requires GPS to be previously enabled.
The Internet location ability's accuracy within 200-1000ft radius doesn't seem useful if my phones stolen. I don't think walking from door to door, trying to listen in on each house for my alarm would work out too well.
Any app that could turn my GPS on remotely via codeword text or Internet site would be extremely useful.
I did some searching and could not find what I'm looking for. I've also searched my phone, with Astro File Manager, for the .png files but can not find them. I want to be able to view the icons in Photo or Gallery when selecting them with Better Cut so I can use them on the dock of my unroot DInc.

I notice the first word in the web address is "secure", such as www.secure.anything.com. The same link opens flawlessly on a dinc, but won't open on an X. View 5 Replies View RelatedI had tried to download 1 attachment from my Gmail app on Nexus S. The attachment got downloaded. But the download status bar in notification view which comes when we drag it down is still there. I tried several things like restarting phone , deleting and downloading the related file again etc.
But still the problem persists.
I have a Linux N wireless router, and a desktop with a wifi card running Windows 7 (Home Premium x64). I have a HTC Magic running the 4.2 version of CyanogenMod (Android version 1.6). What I basically, want to do is in the title. I want to have an app that allows me to view my PC screen on my phone. Gmote and similar apps come close, but they are useless as I cannot view my screen. I have looked at a number of "VNC" apps, but for one reason or another it just doesn't work. I have gotten VLC Remote and TunesRemote to work, which means that I am able to connect my phone to the computer, but beside that nothing works. I managed to get TunesRemote to work by opening certain ports in Windows 7. However, I tried to do a similar thing with a number of VNC applications and none of them worked. I have been trying to port forward for the last three years and no matter what I do, it just doesn't work. I am unsure if it is my Windows 7 firewall or the router, but either way nothing seems to be working.
