I did some searching and could not find what I'm looking for. I've also searched my phone, with Astro File Manager, for the .png files but can not find them. I want to be able to view the icons in Photo or Gallery when selecting them with Better Cut so I can use them on the dock of my unroot DInc.

I have photos I took with my 10mp camera and put them on my droid and before I updated to 2.1 when I zoomed in, it didn't lose any resolution. Now with 2.1 when I zoom in it looks blurry. So now I can't view the photos in it's full resolution.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThere are a number of different icon packs in the Market which i like or have been using however none seem to contain anywhere near the right amount of icons which i need.Now, flame me if you will but i really like the iphoney style icons ie the ones in a square shape which are very colorful.Ive downloaded a number off of the market but to date all i have been happy with is tenuis icon pack, matte icons and serenade icons pack.These dont contain exactly what i want though and have too much of what i dont want.I see alot of people get icons off of there desktop somehow.How do i do this?I have never plugged my desire into my computer so am a complete newbie to doing things that way.I really want some decent icons that can really show what my apps are without text and id like too browse through some online but i dont know where to start.

Im refering to basic app icons like those used for alarm, clock, internet, calendar, music, etc. I also need the samsung specific app icons in PNG format. I've gone through playstore and copied the PNGs for their app Icons. Its that manufacture default Icons and Samsung Icons that I can't find like "Polarise", "S Voice", "voice recorder"and the samsung specific "Music" App. a cache or archive of these types of Icons, or know where to get them?

I have icons, custom icon pack, updater script, but i don't know how can i add more icons. I mean, for example, in folder unpack i have folders browser.apk, settings.apk, calendar.apk with custom icons inside these folders, and i want to add more icons to change. So, should i take names apps from system/app and make folder with this name inside res/drawable-ldpi?

I am using folder organizer which I love, but the stock icons it comes with leave much to be desired.I have been through the market and can't find any decent high resolution icon packs. I would even be happy with just stock android icons. Is there a way to use just the icons from themes?

View 1 Replies View RelatedGot the OTA like everyone else and everything works great. The ONLY thing I have realized is that my photo Gallery (the stock one) is running SOOO slow. I used to be able to flick through the photos without ever coming upon a grey square (with no pic). Now, after a strong flick, I get nothing but grey squares. They eventually load into pictures, but it takes about 3 - 4 seconds before they load. Any ideas? Could it be there are too many pics in the phone / card or is this as a result of the update?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to set the selection of a Gallery in code. I would like to have the Gallery smoothly roll down a few items over the duration of a second or two. At frist glance, it appears that two members would to the trick:Gallery.setAnimationDuration(int animationDurationMillis); Gallery.setSelection(int position, boolean animate); It turns out that the setAnimationDuration only seems to affect the rubber-bandy "return-to-center" effect of the Gallery. In other words, when a gallery comes to rest after a fling, and a gallery item is off center, the animationDurationMillis is used to control the duration of the Gallery centering up the item. However, the value seems to have no effect on the setSelection. No matter what value is set with setAnimationDuration, the Gallery seems to render about 2 or 3 frames when flying between items 1 and 10 for example. Is this working as designed? Does anyone know a trick or workaround that would let me properly animate setSelection? I'd be especially grateful if we could do it with an "Ease Out" effect.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have some old magazine scans on my Desire. Just updated to 2.2 and now the pages are all out of order! The covers are in the middle of them all. Even though when I look at these files on a computer they are all in the correct order. I have some photos on my phone too, they are all messed up and the phone is not sorting them by the filename it seems. Is it sorting them by the date the photo/scan/pic was created?
Anyway, my pics are a mess and I was wondering if there's a way to sort the photos by the filename given, like a computer does. Also, before I go, sometimes when I go into Gallery (or Photos as it was before) sometimes the phone seems to get stuck on creating the thumbnails for each folder, gets half way down and decides to start again, resetting all the thumbnails to blank, this can go on for ages and makes getting to any lower down folders impossible, cos the screen always scrolls up to the top when it starts re-creating the thumbnails.
Is there anyway of making the Gallery look a little more tidy? Every photo I have, be it received, downloaded, bluetoothed, or taken. It seems to create several different folders. I can't seem to find a way of merging these folders to make it look neater & some folders cannot be deleted? Are there any apps to help me, or is it one of those annoying Android things?

The problem I have is that each image in the list has to be resized before it is displaying the view. Is there a way to link to the thumbnail view instead of the full size image so that I don't have to resize them or is there a way to load each picture as it is sized instead of having to wait for them all.
I'm primarily a WP user so I know almost nothing about Android from the last E years. Well, I figured that I might as well get a brand new moto X during the firesale (bamboo backed BTW) to test drive and I may be over thinking it, but um... Do I save my images to photos or gallery? They both sense, but why are there 2 options?
