View 1 RepliesIs there anyway to obtain passwords saved in the web browser of my Sprint HTC Hero? I made some accounts on the phone to sites but forgot the passwords and want to be able to log in from a computer rather than just my phone.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy browser got a bit out of whack (for some reason the default Google search page stopped displaying the search field). Also the 'data' was taking up almost 10MB and I'm running low on application disk space (dammit they have to find a way to let us store apps on our sdcards) Anyway.. I did a "clear data" thing on the browser, thinking this would only clear temporary internet files, but it reset everything (wiped out my favorites and saved passwords.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI wanted to be able to use my Google bookmarks on my Droid. I found a program that imports them to the phone, but it replaces everything and I didn't want all those bookmarks in my browser. I exported my Google bookmarks to a HTML file and stored it on my SD card in the download folder and named it bookmarks.htm. I then went into the Droid browser and typed the following URL: content://com.android.htmlfileprovider/sdcard/download/bookmarks.htm
I then created a bookmark of the link.
Now, I open my browser, click on the bookmark, and all my Google Bookmark sites are displayed as links in order listed under their categories.

First post here. Been reading for a few weeks and just got my Eris on Sunday. I tried a search for the answer to this question, but came up empty. It probably has been answered before and I just can't find it. Does anyone know the correct way to delete out any scenes that you have saved on the phone? I got over anxious right away with it and ended up having 4 saved scenes on top of the 6 from HTC that are already there. I would like to have just 2 extra ones total and be able to delete out 2 of them. That would give me basically the 6 HTC scenes and then a USer1 and USer 2 type of thing.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAre those saved as images? Because when I try to use the 'search on page' function of the browser it does not find any letter. (Yeah I think it's obvious)
If so, any browser that lets you save like an offline html so the search function will work?
how do you delete an internet web browser bookmark once it is added?
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a faster way to delete the Download History on Android phones; instead of having to click each and every item in the history? Every thread I find dealing with deleting the Download History, has to do with deleting the normal browser history, not the Download History.
So is there an easier way? Because I just spent 10 minutes deleting each and every item in my Download History and there has to be an easier way of doing this.
I'm finding the 2.2 browser doesn't delete mail or archive from Gmail when I'm using it. Although the mail disappears from the list while I'm using the Android browser, when I connect to Gmail on my computer all the mail I thought I had deleted is still there. Anyone else having this problem? Using HTC Desire.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI need to save my bank account numbers, passwords and some credit card numbers. I do not need an app that is all that high tech and complicated. I would just like something that is protected via a password so that if my phone is lost/stolen the finder cannot access this information. I tried Keepass but I didn't really like it as I was unable to change the entry fields, ect. It would be nice to have the ability to have this information backed up somewhere.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI am very skeptical about using outside programs that did not come program with my Droid. When I click to use Better Keyboard, it states that certain things I type, such as passwords can be "recorded." Has there ever been any reports of Better Keyboard stealing passwords or whatnot? I feel 100% safe with the pre-loaded software, but with programs on the app store I am scared to use anything that I enter person information, such as credit cards. How safe can this program be?
View 3 Replies View RelatedMany of my users have requested a password protection for various data elements in my database. Unfortunately, one of my existing features is backing up the database to a public location (SD Card) for data redundancy, so my database isn't secure.
So my question is two-fold.
How can I encrypt or secure a database on android?
How can I store user created passwords on the device in a secure, inaccessible way.
I currently use about 6 or 7 different passwords or pin numbers and often forgoet them.
Is there an app in which i can save all of my passwords for various things and then have one password for that app?
