General :: Delete Android OS Browser (Download) History?
Oct 16, 2011Is there a faster way to delete the Download History on Android phones; instead of having to click each and every item in the history? Every thread I find dealing with deleting the Download History, has to do with deleting the normal browser history, not the Download History.
So is there an easier way? Because I just spent 10 minutes deleting each and every item in my Download History and there has to be an easier way of doing this.

Oct 28, 2009I tap weather icon, get current location no city name and the weather info, I then tap "+" hit my location and it finds my city Corning NY, I add this to the weather app, I close out and hit weather app again and now I have to locations, the one that says current location and the one that says Corning NY, both weather datas are the same. My question is how to I delete or get rid of the current location weather data screen and have only the Corning NY screen when I open the weather app? The data for both is the same but I don't want 2 locations(one named) for the same data.

Jun 15, 2010It's pretty annoying when I click phone at the bottom and see a bunch of friends from facebook that I dont talk to on the phone but on facebook in my phone book. I tried figuring out how to erase all facebook contacts from my phonebook but I couldn't.
What I did notice what I did what I liked that it did link a lot of people from my facebook to current contacts with images. But I'll have to do this manually.
Is there anyway to delete "Facebook Friends" from current phonebook? The only way I know how NOT to see facebook friends in your phone book is if you just go to people and don't click on Phone at the home screen which I always do...

Although the mail disappears from the list while I'm using the Android browser, when I connect to Gmail on my computer all the mail I thought I had deleted is still there. May 14, 2010I'm sure this may have been discussed or gone over but i seriously have no time right now to search for answers, I'm lucky i have time to post this thread but Ive been wanting to do it and get answers.
First off, i love the phone however there are some issues Ive come across.
(1) Deleting multiple messages/emails, can the emails/msgs just be selected (highlighted) all at once and deleted? its very very tedious to delete each and every one individually.
(2) While I'm talking about deleting emails, Ive come across an issue where some emails delete but then reappear, kept trying to delete them and they kept reappearing, whats going on here?
(3) My address book is a mess, it somehow has facebook people added into all my other numbers, anyway to undo all that somehow?
(4) Clock --- Is there a app to have the clock displayed sideways while i sleep? i have the verizon belt clip and turning it so the phone lays sideways on table works perfectly BUT the clock doesn't display sideways, isn't that horrible!?
(5) How do you refresh a browser page?
(6) Voice Dialing --- I use a Blue Parrot Bluetooth, the phone is not recognizing when i push the button on the parrot to voice dial someone, or isn't this phone capable of voice dialing? The blue parrot worked great on my blackberry.
Thats all i can think of right now, I'm sure most of them can be answered.

May 13, 2010The default behavior of an activity when BACK softkey is pressed is, GO BACK TO PREVIOUS ACTIVITY. If some the same activity is waiting for some response from server or some data updation is going on and then press BACK, I want to wait on the same screen till the current task is completely processed and then move out to the previous activity.
