i downloaded the lockbot and was seeing if i liked it now when i reboot it brings up a menu and asks to complete action using home or htc sense and i dont want either i want my normal lock screen from fresh soo i dont know what it is doing i try uninstalling lockbot and restarting but that didnt work either. if i hit home it goes to a totally different looking screen with none of my bots on there or anything.

The other day my phone was almost dead so I plugged it in, then went about my business like every other day.
But this time when I came back to it a few hours later the LED was blinking green>orange>green>orange>green>orange
What does that mean? I even looked through the Hero user manual...
Its gone back to normal since then, but its happened on another occasion before...
I rooted last weekend. After every missed call I keep getting a text message that says: If I call the second number (408-970-0000) (always the same) - it says "Our records indicate that you are calling from a SMS voice message equipped handset. If you have recently purchased a handset that does not contain this feature press 1, otherwise press 2." How can I make this stop?
View 11 Replies View RelatedSo I rooted a week or so ago. Didn't flash any new ROMs or anything, just deleted some bloatware and set up wireless tethering. Right away I noticed the data connection going up and down a lot. Then a few days ago I started periodically getting a black popup with this: When I get it, I just hit "dismiss" and so far, everything goes back to working normally at that point. Still, it's a little disconcerting. Anyone else gotten this popup or had their data connection messed with by rooting?

(My fat Lincolnshire sausage fingers certainly don't help)I often struggle with the keys on the edge of the screen. I don't know why that would be. Oh, and the most strange phenomenon is when a left hand finger, despite trying repeatedly, fails to click a button so I try my right hand and it works first time (or vice versa). View 7 Replies View RelatedI am using lockbot pro and I noticed my phone was being woken up by all the buttons not just power. So I went to the app, menu, config and checked prevent wake up. But now the power button wakes it up fine but all the other buttons wake it up to a dimly lit lock screen. Is there a way to get it back to only the power button working like without the app?

Now what I noticed on my HTC Incredible is that if you hold the home button it shows you the last things you had running. So when it asks for my security pattern I just hold home and click htc sense. No password needed.

I do feel like the app may improve in the future, but do not want to pay for it again. It is the only paid app I have ever downloaded, and being very cheap I want to know if I can disable it for the meantime.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo i have launcher pro set as default and i have the action keys set in the preference to take me to home if not i'm not on it and then to take me to a view of all 7 screens if i'am on the home page. But can anyone tell me why EVERY time that i unlock my screen with lockbot pro, i can either hit home if i'm on the home page or home on any other page and it comes up with a "Complete Action Using" Box and i have a choice between lockbot and launcher pro, and there is a set as default check box at the bottom i check that and select launcher pro BUT every damn time i bring my screen out of lock it just does it again after hitting home. Anyone else having this issue better yet able to solve it?
View 1 Replies View RelatedJust thought I'd tell you all about the experience I've uncovered with Lockbot and airplane mode as well as the workaround for it. Although I didn't really notice any huge problems with battery life, I decided to check out the 50% without signal bug. Sure enough I have it. So I switched into airplane mode briefly to clear the problem, which it did (0% without signal currently).The problem is that this knocked Lockbot offline and me back to the standard lock screen (including the one with the airplane when in airplane mode). I entered Lockbot and messed around a little, then exited. Normally this would enable Lockbot but no dice this time around.A reboot of course solved the Lockbot problem, but then I had the 50% bug again, which was of course fixed using airplane mode, which then naturally stopped Lockbot.What I found that worked was to use airplane mode to stop the 50% bug, enter Lockbot and uncheck enable Lockbot (disabling it even though it was already disabled), exit Lockbot, return to Lockbot and check the box again to enable it. Problem 'solved'.

View 39 Replies View RelatedI kept rejecting phone calls whilst pulling the desire from my pocket, so I have switch the lock screen using lockbot to a side swipe instead, this is working very well.However, now when i receive a call it jumps straight to an answer or decline screen which is just as easy to reject by mistake.Does anyone know a solution this problem? I suppose what im looking for is to have to unlock the phone before answering the call.
View 1 Replies View Relatedafter installing 2.2 on my hero, everything was working fine, until now. im having problems with my text messages, they wont send under sprints network, if i put it in roaming then they send right away, but roaming has awefully slow (1x) network speeds, but if i put it back to the 3g network speeds of sprint then everytime i try to send a text it just swirls in circles (the little thing next to the message) and wont send. is this sprints network being down? or does this have to do with the 2.2 update?i dont think its sprint because my mom and sister arent having any problems with there phones from the same plan. but i tryed restarting many times, taking out and leaving out the battery, putting it in airplane mode and turning that back off to reset connection, iv tryed everything and cant get it to work, so idk what to do, and i dont understand why if it was a software problem with the 2.2 installation, why would they send in roaming but not on sprints network?

If I happen to be in front of the phone, I can see the screen change showing an incoming call.If I am listening to Pandora Radio, when the phone rings, Pandora stops, but the phone never rings.If I am not near or looking at the phone this results in missing the call.If I shut off the phone and re-boot it appears to ring fine, but at some point later in the day or week it will quit ringing.I normally never turn off the phone. Should I start to re-boot every day?

View 1 Replies View Relatediv heard ppl who downloaded android 2.2 online and installed it themselves on there phone since its not being offered ota. but im wondering if its safe? the phone is not actually getting 2.2 ever, so doing this would be my own choice. but im wondering if it will run smoothly, better than 2.1 update 1, and if there will be any problems or if anything that may not work because of compatability problems with the phone. because some people have said that 2.2 isnt being released to the hero because the phone is not physically capeable of it do to software and hardware (such as space ram speeds etc.), and others have said they installed it themselves and it works fine, that its actually made to run using less space then 2.1 making it better.
