The other day my phone was almost dead so I plugged it in, then went about my business like every other day.
But this time when I came back to it a few hours later the LED was blinking green>orange>green>orange>green>orange
What does that mean? I even looked through the Hero user manual...
Its gone back to normal since then, but its happened on another occasion before...

i downloaded the lockbot and was seeing if i liked it now when i reboot it brings up a menu and asks to complete action using home or htc sense and i dont want either i want my normal lock screen from fresh soo i dont know what it is doing i try uninstalling lockbot and restarting but that didnt work either. if i hit home it goes to a totally different looking screen with none of my bots on there or anything.
I rooted last weekend. After every missed call I keep getting a text message that says: If I call the second number (408-970-0000) (always the same) - it says "Our records indicate that you are calling from a SMS voice message equipped handset. If you have recently purchased a handset that does not contain this feature press 1, otherwise press 2." How can I make this stop?
View 11 Replies View RelatedSo I rooted a week or so ago. Didn't flash any new ROMs or anything, just deleted some bloatware and set up wireless tethering. Right away I noticed the data connection going up and down a lot. Then a few days ago I started periodically getting a black popup with this: When I get it, I just hit "dismiss" and so far, everything goes back to working normally at that point. Still, it's a little disconcerting. Anyone else gotten this popup or had their data connection messed with by rooting?
View 3 Replies View RelatedIf i have a new email or text and i turn off the phone, the led still blinks . and half the time when it happens the phone wont turn back on. i returned one when i noticed it . now my new one does it to. i noticed this at work. i am not suppost to have my cell on the floor. (leave my evo unattended, shiat) so i forgot to put it on vibrate and it rang so i pulled it out declined the call and turned it off.

I think because its a HTC phone it is made with the black bar, but is their anyway to extract the APK from any other android phone if such a file exists and just install it on the Hero, I really prefer the white one.

And when i close the phone, like lock it .. the Led keeps blinking green ? When she gets a text, the notification window comes up with the message, the background picture is a nicely rendered white Android holding a phone up to his "ear". Across the top, it says something along the lines of "leslie2099 is 0.7 miles away. Chat Now!". I'm an HTC Hero user with Cyanogenmod 6, so I am reasonably familiar with Froyo, but I can't figure out what this is from. Any ideas?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm setting up my new desire, and gmail works just fine, but the push email or email notification perhaps rather, is acting kind of irrational.
First when I set it up it would go off at about the same time as my email checker on my computer using imap idle. On the second email arriving though there is no more notification from the desire phone, this may be a feature although a weird one. Now I go into the inbox on the desire and delete the 2 emails in question and exit. The next time an email arrives the phone will react but not nearly as fast, it can be minutes or even more.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAlright well I got my Hero on release date(After going through 3 Pre's! ). Well so far I love it. Battery life has been just fine(And thats with the system at 100% lol), and the apps are amazing. But I have a question. I noticed there's two LED lights at the top of the phone. Yet I've only ever seen one light up! Is this how it is for everyone else? Only my left one lights up(green for texts, and amber for charging). And my friend's G1's Scroll Wheel also lights up, and was just wondering why ours doesn't.
