I installed lockbot and configured to my liking. But why the hell is the sense lock still there? I checked to see if Lockbot was activated, yet still nothing. Anyone have this problem?

I can not remember the google email address for the phone and now i can not access the phone. Orange customer service has told me to get in touch with google, in order to delete the old account [whatever that may be] but there is no number for google customer service.

As most of you know that after downloading it, pressing the home button gives you the option of which home screen launcher that you want to..well.. launch..either HTC Sense or Launcher Pro. Well this morning I picked Launcher Pro, but accidently clicked the "don't ask me this again" box before that, so now I'm stuck on Launcher Pro and can't get back to my, or any, HTC Sense launcher. I've gone all through my settings and can't figure it out. I'd like to either get back to my old HTC Sense home screen, get to the DEFAULT HTC Sense homescreen, or get back to being able to have the option to pick which one I want to launch.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using lockbot pro and I noticed my phone was being woken up by all the buttons not just power. So I went to the app, menu, config and checked prevent wake up. But now the power button wakes it up fine but all the other buttons wake it up to a dimly lit lock screen. Is there a way to get it back to only the power button working like without the app?

Aside from it keeps alphabetizing my dock bars (I want the icons in a certain order) and my Lockbot Pro won't work.Is anybody using Panda and able to give me some solutions to these problems? The dock bar is not a HUGE issue, I can deal, but I paid for Lockbot Pro and I want to be able to use it.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am currently using lockbot pro and I have the option set to ask for a pattern before it will unlock (which has enough glitches as is but anyway...). Now what I noticed on my HTC Incredible is that if you hold the home button it shows you the last things you had running. So when it asks for my security pattern I just hold home and click htc sense. No password needed.
View 2 Replies View Relatedi downloaded the lockbot and was seeing if i liked it now when i reboot it brings up a menu and asks to complete action using home or htc sense and i dont want either i want my normal lock screen from fresh soo i dont know what it is doing i try uninstalling lockbot and restarting but that didnt work either. if i hit home it goes to a totally different looking screen with none of my bots on there or anything.
Lockbot Pro is a great idea, but has made my Eris very glitchy. I would like to disable it, without deleting it. I do feel like the app may improve in the future, but do not want to pay for it again. It is the only paid app I have ever downloaded, and being very cheap I want to know if I can disable it for the meantime.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo i have launcher pro set as default and i have the action keys set in the preference to take me to home if not i'm not on it and then to take me to a view of all 7 screens if i'am on the home page. But can anyone tell me why EVERY time that i unlock my screen with lockbot pro, i can either hit home if i'm on the home page or home on any other page and it comes up with a "Complete Action Using" Box and i have a choice between lockbot and launcher pro, and there is a set as default check box at the bottom i check that and select launcher pro BUT every damn time i bring my screen out of lock it just does it again after hitting home. Anyone else having this issue better yet able to solve it?
View 1 Replies View RelatedJust thought I'd tell you all about the experience I've uncovered with Lockbot and airplane mode as well as the workaround for it. Although I didn't really notice any huge problems with battery life, I decided to check out the 50% without signal bug. Sure enough I have it. So I switched into airplane mode briefly to clear the problem, which it did (0% without signal currently).The problem is that this knocked Lockbot offline and me back to the standard lock screen (including the one with the airplane when in airplane mode). I entered Lockbot and messed around a little, then exited. Normally this would enable Lockbot but no dice this time around.A reboot of course solved the Lockbot problem, but then I had the 50% bug again, which was of course fixed using airplane mode, which then naturally stopped Lockbot.What I found that worked was to use airplane mode to stop the 50% bug, enter Lockbot and uncheck enable Lockbot (disabling it even though it was already disabled), exit Lockbot, return to Lockbot and check the box again to enable it. Problem 'solved'.

View 39 Replies View RelatedI kept rejecting phone calls whilst pulling the desire from my pocket, so I have switch the lock screen using lockbot to a side swipe instead, this is working very well.However, now when i receive a call it jumps straight to an answer or decline screen which is just as easy to reject by mistake.Does anyone know a solution this problem? I suppose what im looking for is to have to unlock the phone before answering the call.

I searched about nexus since it is similar and saw a few things about the app LOCKBOT, i recommend you atleast try the free version and see, it gives you unlock with the trackpad button and the ability to do custom lockscreen with different styles like Iphone, and different android locks. THis was one grip i didnt like about sense. Stock Android has the ability to swipe to unlock or swipe the other way to mute sounds, which is a nice feature, although i prefer my iphones switch the best
The bad...Ive read stuff about it crashing and being laggy, now i havnt experiended this on the INC, it runs super smooth. But i have been having a few times where the front button will not unlock the phone, maybe an update will fix this or something, but its worth a shot to look at.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm locked out of my phone and I believe it's being caused by the "No lock" app. There was an upgrade available for that app, which I performed today, and a few mins later when I went use my phone I got presented with a keyboard to enter a password to continue. I have never set a password for this anyway. So I'm locked out and cannot access anything.

I have a vodafone [prepaid sim] and i was able to browse and recieve emails and so on with my nokia e63 on prepaid with no issue whatsoever. This is my first android phone and im feeling a little lost/stumped with it and taken advantage of with half truths from the salesman at JB HIFI. Im sure they would know about this, i did make it clear and stress out it is a non telstra sim and that its prepaid.
i had the pattern unlock on it and he got it wrong 20 times and now i need to put in my gmail account details and password. Despite this i never use gmail and have used my secondary email to find out my detail, but adding these details dont work on my phone!? is there any other way to get me back on to this amazing phone!

Is there any issues with using the 'power' button to lock the phone and unlock it? It's extremely annoying and I've installed the latest software patch.
I've been able to lock the screen twice with the current implementation of the app I'm writing (MediaDroid). It's very inconsistently (2 out of about 100 runs) and I'm not sure how to trigger it, so I'm assuming it's some sort of race condition or the number of threads I'm spawning.
The activity I'm working on loads a gallery of thumbnails from the sdcard. I believe I'm using most of the best practices described by Romain Guy from his Google I/O talk "Make your Android UI Fast and Efficient". I've implemented an image cache with SoftReferences wrapping my Bitmaps and created an Efficient Adapter for the gallery using the ViewHolder pattern.
What I am doing, which I question, is loading each image via a thread as it is retrieved from the ImageCache...I pass back a default image if the bitmap is null, then update the default image in the ImageViews with the Bitmap is loaded from the sdcard; I'm doing this by posting to a Handler in the Adapter from the thread that loads the image.
So as you can imagine a number of threads are created, about 25 at a time, as the user swipes through the image gallery. Once the user reaches the end of the gallery, the images are only reloaded if the garbage collector has collected them due to the SoftReference. I've been impressed by how well this worked....until the bug mysteriously started appearing. What has happened both times is, all the images in the gallery show the default images, then I get an ANR and with the force close or wait option, I hit force close and the ANR dialog shrinks (but doesn't go away) and the background goes black...then everything just freezes...here's the logs where I believe things start to lock up.

So if the number of threads is the problem I'm thinking of loading all the bitmaps when the app is first initiated, probably using the AsyncTask class. A question I have though about this is that the docs say that you can only call execute() once...what's happens if some of my Bitmaps are garbage collected?? Do I then call individual threads to reload? I've looked through some of the Google apps, Shelves and Photostream, but they don't seem to be using Bitmaps wrapped in SoftReferences.
Evo has locked up on data connection.One minute data is working great and then, No internet, app store, etc. and anything I try to do brings up a dialogue box that says retry or cancel, and that I need internet network access. Phone still works, but does occasionally seem to not hang up on first try.
When I go to settings - wireless & networks, it shows a box "trying to connect" but nothing happens. 4g, bluetooth and wifi are turned off. I have to completely restart phone and the data is back. This has happened about 5 times. Phone issue or Sprint issue. I am in Atlanta, and can get 4g coverage around my house and area. 3 g goes from great to low in same spots.

Ideally, I'd like a lock screen that allows access to all non-sensitive functionality: camera, sms, calls, maps. The list goes on. The only things that need to be password protected are settings, email (as this can be used to reset other passwords), browser (where you may have saved passwords/credit card details), play store (or anywhere you can make purchases).

I upgraded my Dad to a One X a few weeks ago. Today he tells me about some sim message and then he said he couldn't make calls anymore.
Sure enough the home screen says the PUK Code is locked. Att tries to tell me that i can happen due to a variety of things yet they can't explain what these variety of things are so I tell the cs person to send me to tech support.
In the mean time I pop the sim out, replace it and restart the phone. Looks like he's back in business.
