I'm having trouble with some of my mp3s not showing the album cover when playing the songs. The artwork is on my SD card but for some reason it doesnt show when the song is playing.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI've been using a couple of different methods recently trying to sync music on my desire, nothing has worked properly for me, windows media player, itunes sync, doubletwist and even htc sync 3.0 wont do the job.I was using album artwork grabber then to get missing artwork.So i deleted all my music from my desire and started from scratch and just dragged and dropped all the music files to it.This is working great except loads of my album artwork has been mislabelled with a completly different one. Every song has artwork, there is none with the default green logo which used to be there before I'm certain on these songs. But now they all have this other album cover, it's like it's replaced the default music icon cover.I tried clearing the media application data and it rebuilt the library, but it's still the same.

I bought this song legaly over Amazon mp3 so the ID3 Tags are correct.
Album app mixes cover art with photos. And, there is no option to filter them out, or not to include them at all. The cover art are found in music folder, so why are they appearing in the album. Does the xml file in the top folder of SD card need to be modified to ignore photos in music folder?

Unfortunately all the album art also shows up under "pictures". Is there anyway to tell the G1 to stop looking for pictures in my music folder?
I had a bunch of non-DRM music that I tranfered from my mac iTunes account over to my EVO's memory card. The files play fine, but none of them show the album art anymore (it is just a blank CD image with a little android up top). All of the data should be there as it plays just fine in iTunes and didn't have issues on the iPhone. Is there any way I can get the album art back?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently downloaded MixZing and noticed that the art for the albums I copied from my laptop does not show up. However, the art for the files I downloaded through the phone, does show up. Also, all the album art does show up with the native music app - downloaded and copied. The album art for the copied files resides as jpg's in the same directory as the songs. I'm wondering if I need to copy them elsewhere. One other thing, unrelated, how do you stop a song? I can pause a song that's playing but can not find a way to just stop it altogether. This is a problem for native app and MixZing.

I had this memory card previously in my Droid eris and did not have this issue. Ive tried formating the sd card twice and resyncing the songs twice using 2 different programs double twist and media monkey still the same outcome. The songs are in itunes format.

I called HTC and they dont have one available, but maybe I got the wrong rep? I called ATT and they were no help. There is an HD Mini (somewhat of the same phone) battery cover on eBay but it doesnt have the metal connections since the battery cover of an Aria is part of the antenna. Please help me find one! Even if I have to buy an extended battery (with battery cover) so be it. I just need my phone back.

On my Hero it is part of the back cover and just a cover for the actual camera lense. I have several backs for me and my wifes Hero's so I don't worry about it that much. We purchased several factory packs off ebay with backs, batteries, usb cords, etc. for just $16.00 a piece. Maybe this can be done with the EVO when we get them.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI try to implement a hover effect (effect when button is pressed) through putting a semi transparent PNG file on top of the button background and the button icon. Unfortunatly the button background file is a 9-PATCH-PNG which causes some trouble here: It "swallows" everything on top of its layer and doesn't allow to cover the stretchable areas (the fine light line around) of the nine-patch-png. In other words, the black lines the top and left edge of the 9 PATCH PNG cause not only stretching, but also padding behavior.

What I want to do is to sift through these Images like you can in case of an album art. If I have to cache(i.e. ship) the images with my app, I will do that to improve the experience. View 3 Replies View RelatedFinally got my replacement EVO yesterday was all excited until I just noticed the battery door cover does not fit tight! There is a gap along the whole right side. big enough for dirt and dust to get into the phone. The build date is 7/05/10. Also, the camera lens is not centered in the cover hole. There no red showing on the bottom of the hole and a big red gap on the top of the hole. I cannot believe HTC lets phones like this out the door! Where is the QA/QC?
