Sprint HTC Hero :: Facebook App Error - Application Request Limit
Jan 5, 2010I'm experiencing an error on my facebook "APP" that says something to the effect of "application request limit". Does anybody know what this means?

May 21, 2010i just updated to 2.1 and i imported my gmail contacts but since my facebook account is added to it decided to add facebook contacts..i keep trying to delete my contacts but it says too much even when i delete a couple at a time i keep deleting all of them then i import from my backup contacts on sd and it still brings me my fb ones somehow even though they arent on there Google contact sync doesnt sync anything at all its broken i just want my google contacts synced not my facebook contacts there are soem more random facebook contacts that it wont let me delete in my contacts and they dont show up in all contacts.

Nov 4, 2009I got the hero today and so far im stoked, the only question i have is i have a notification that wont go away, it says "SYNC - too many contacts deletes. then when u click on it it says "there are 255 deleted items for contacts account ******@gmail.com. What would you like to do? and it gives me 3 options, delete the items, undo the deletes, do nothing for now. ive tried all three options and the notification just comes right back.

May 5, 2010Using appbrain on my PC seems to work fine when I'm not logged in. When I do log in and try to click on an app I get this error message:
"Error: Server Error The server encountered an error and could not complete your request. If the problem persists, please report your problem and mention this error message and the query that caused it."
Anyone else have this issue when using Appbrain on their pc?
Well, It looks like I solved the problem. I just deleted my account and created it again and it's fixed (for now).
Sprint HTC Hero :: Attaching Camera Pics To Text Msgs (Size Limit)
Dec 9, 2009I am having is when I try to send a picture through picture message I get an error saying message size limit reached, you cannot attach this to your message. So in order to send a picture this way do I have to either:
a. change my camera settings to lower resolution?
b. is there a program or setting to automatically send a smaller image and keep my high res photo?
Obviously I would prefer option B as this camera rocks and takes some good pics.
Sprint HTC Hero :: 70 App Limit On Hero
Nov 7, 2009At least on my HTC Hero, 70 apps is the limit. No, I did not run out of internal or SD memory-far from it. But I have been going off trial and error, installing and uninstalling apps. If I go over 70 apps, once I shut off/turn on my phone, it will be completely corrupt, won't give me service, etc. The first time this occurred, I had no idea what was wrong and hard rebooted my phone. Now, if I stay at 70 apps or below, I'm fine. HTC should really tell you this and it is ridiculous considering I have plenty of memory left.

Feb 28, 2010On my phone I have the Facebook app downloaded from the market. I also noticed that the phone comes bookmarked with Facebook.
So here is my question, under Menu>Settings>Social Network> Facebook appears there. I have that set to update every 12 hours.
HOWEVER, my actual Facebook App is set to update every 2 hours.
So... does the settings under Menu>Settings>Social Network>Facebook control my facebook app or just the bookmark that comes pre-installed on the phone?
I am trying to save battery life, and I noticed that the settings under Menu>Settings>Social Network>Facebook were set to update every hour, but I had the settings under the downloaded app to update every two hours. My goal is to have only one facebook medium updating so I don't drain battery life!

Dec 11, 2009I just cleared all my browsing history, cache, form data and all that stuff. Then I went to my bookmarks, where I have the touch.facebook.com bookmarked. I type in my username and password and tap the "login" key. I see the green status bar at the bottom of the screen start to go, but the page just loops. It does not login. Just keeps refreshing... if that makes sense. What am I doing wrong ?

Feb 15, 2010I'm having this error every time i try to log in into any site:
Page is not available error code 400 bad request
The browser opens up pages flawlessly except for the log in part. I purged the cache, cookies and everything but still no luck.
It's on 3G connection. Haven't tested it on a wifi yet.
It seems that the HTTPS sites are causing the problem. Can't log in into Facebook through the browser, neither into www.google.com.

It seems that new friends aren't added anymore automatically (that is synced up) ... is there such a limit? my people's list is a mix between my google contacts and facebook contacts (most of them linked so I can add phone numbers, etc.) I have no such limit with my google contacts. my contact storage is at about 50MB right now.

Apr 24, 2010Ever since I flashed to this ROM, I haven't been able to sync none of my contacts through the People app even though it says "all contacts synced" within Accounts & Sync. When I try to match a contact with their facebook account, "no matches" show and I don't even have a list of who I can choose.
Does this have something to do with the PRL not being 60663? Mines says 60662. I've tried every solution that was said in the forums. Delete then restart then readd the account. Still nothing.
Should I just reflash? I don't want to but my contacts look so boring without their pictures and statuses

Oct 16, 2009Is seems like only contacts I have saved in my Google contacts are being linked. I thought The Hero would sync all information from my Facebook contacts. So even if I have not saved them I would be able to access their information on my phone, similarly to Palm's Synergy. Am I doing something wrong or is this the way it works?

I logged into the facebook app, but now my contact list is full of facebook contacts, etc. Its kind of annoying. How can I make my facebook account STAY in the facebook app and not integrate with the rest of the phone?
