I can't send sms's from my x10 and i ask support and they told me to put the servise center manully in wireless control<mobile network> service center number. but i couldn't find that in my phone!!!

ONCE Again that Xperia X2 so BAD Mobile Phone. the scenario:
1. I bought the new one before update software to R3AA035 - originally, can sync Only my contact, calender, and task in only 2 hours. I have some contact, but in other phone product, sync only takes 30 minutes. so special with XPeria X2 with WM 6.5
2. then, so many error and I should restart the phone almost 30 TIMES a DAY and 200 times A WEKK. after a week, i brought back to SE service centre. they said that I should upgrade it to R3AA035......
I found that in SmsMessage class, it has an instance of method named "getServiceCenterAddress( )". this method could get the Message Center Address from message's pdu that you recived.
But my application want get this address directly, and base on it to do some performance.
Is there have any method directly to get "Message Center Service Number" ?
Just got my new Motorola Milestone.very nice,however I cannot figure out where to enter my sms service center number.I have Settings under messaging don't have it,anyone can help me?

got the x10 linked to my wireless network to do the usual things. I have my pc upstairs and downstairs hard wired but want to be able to listen/stream from either of the two computers to my x10 via wifi. I'm using windows 7. I can see my x10 listed within the router config but other than that can't get any further.

View 3 Replies View RelatedPhone has been working fine for about 2 months with data, MMS and 3G with 3 POP accounts and 1 Exchange account all sync'd up and working. Then, on Sat at around 7:30pm I realized the phone was no longer getting emails (Outlook was chiming away but phone on desk eerily quite). Picked it up and noticed 3G indicator wasn't there. Recycled power - No change. Updated firmware to R2BA020 - No change. The APN settings are correct and haven't been changed since working. AT&T Unlimited data plan is in good standing. So, although nothing has changed, I can no longer get any data (email/web/facebook/etc.) nor can I send or receive MMS. All of these work if I turn WiFi on but not over the cell network.

I open the Message client, and try to enter the Service Center number "+447958879879" as provided by T-mobile.When I try to send a text message, I receive the following message."Unable to send the message after multiple attempts". If I then check the Service Center section,I now find the field blank.Could someone please help, am I missing something very simple. What do I need to change?

I go into my sms app and click setting and Service Center and enter in my service center number and click save and when I back out of it it doesn't save. If I enter it in and then click home and go back it sets it but my sms is still not working? I tried to look at /system/etc/apns.config.xml but that is just the network. I replaced the apns-config and still didn't work. Where can I edit the default in the actual rom itself?

I have both the iPhone 3GS and the Xperia X10, and comparing the two phones, I'll need to give 2 thumbs up for the iPhone 3GS, and two thumbs down for the X10.
One thing I noticed with the X10 is that, theres no EQ Control in Mediascape. so when I listen to music with the X10, the sound quality is just brutal compared to the iPhone.
Does the X10 have EQ control, and I'm just not able to find it, or do they not have it?
What is everyones experience or recommendation? Which is better on battery life?
View 19 Replies View RelatedI had mine X10i over 4 months now, no matter how I updated the version or reset the device back to factory default, the WiFi still did not work properly unless I re-start the device. The WiFi only can be turn on is when the device just turned on. If the WiFi connection got disconnected or was being turned off, then it can NEVER be connect it back or NEVER can be turn back on. This is killing me that I have to at least re-start my phone twice a day. Another thing is that if I don't turn on my WiFi at the time the device was turned on, then I never could be able to turn on the WiFi again. What is the issue with this function?

The green LED which flashes to notify of the event is actually quite bright in a dark room and ended up waking me up (in fact, I was quite confused at first as to what on earth it could be lol!). Does anyone know if there is an app which controls either the brightness of the LED notification or can disable the LED notification altogether?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had a new phone that the phone company forced me to block by not giving me the correct code for unlock (which I paid the phone company for), and they said sorry and after 5 mths with a new phone in a box (while in another country and not being able to use it), they decided to exchange the phone. They exchanged the phone and wouldnt give me a new one since the original problem wasn't reported before 7 days after purchase, but 9 days pff. The exchange is refurbished or something but is perfectly new looking and works amazingly well.
It connected to like 2-3 networks while I was away in that country getting the phone changed and now I'm back home and it will not connect to my home connection. I have changed every thing around and back and I have verified all settings, WiFi on and off. Hard reset - it will not connect. It says searching and then connection and then disconnected etc. Doesn't even say obtaining IP addy or anything. It doesn't say anything or give errors at all, it just will not connect.
I have successfully connected to netbook for file transfer with X10 but don't know how to connect to use phone as wireless cpnnection for mobile browsing.
