Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Weather Channel Widget And Media Player

The media player shuts off after i unlock the screen. What is causing this? It will play, then lock itself after a minute or so, keep playing, and when I unlock it, it shuts off. Also annoying is that it shuffles forward AND reverse.When I put the weather channel widget on my home screen It never updates itself even though I Juice defender that should allow it to refresh periodically.I'll add one more - the last few apps I downlaoded, i had to cancel 3-4 times, then retry before they are started to download.

i had it earlier today and deleted it by mistake, i found it on appbrain and tried to snyc it but it keeps coming up cant find it, iv looked on the market thru every weather and news app and no sign of it,
it was the best weather app plus i liked the animated side off it,

Over the past couple days, it seems like my Weather Channel app hasn't been working properly. When I move to the home screen that has the widget, it will be displaying the wrong temperature and picture (i.e. it might be showing "partly sunny" when it's night time). It just shows the temperature for the last time I opened the app.So, I click on the widget to open the app, and it brings me to one of the screens and it just says "N/A", while a green circle rotates in the upper-right corner. After a few seconds, it finally updates and shows me the current temperature/forecast (whichever screen I was in last).I've never had these problems before, up until the past few days. Usually I would just move over to my other home screen, look at the temp, and move back. It would always be [somewhat] updated by itself (usually every 30-60 minutes it seemed). Now it doesn't update until I actually open the app.Any ideas or suggestions? Or is anyone else having this problem? I am using the Droid Eris. I restarted the phone yesterday, still doing the same thing.

Media Go etc. What is the "good" way to sync my pc and X10 media?
Is there a support forum for Media Go? Is this a Sony product?
After a week I am starting to hate this phone. I thought that ITunes was terrible, well all the non working together components of this phone make it a bad purchase.
Media Go is so bug filled as to make other media programs look like super stars.

How do i delete the playlists that i create in my xperia x10 mini. I can't seem to delete them. I created a few playlists then used the media go app to delete them. But when i disconnected the phone from my computer the playlists were still present. I believe that playlists aren't stored on the sdcard. Can someone help me to delete these playlists. And can the SE team give a fix in the mediaGo software so that it is able to display the playlists that aren't there on sdcard and allow me to modify or delete them.

This time I wanted to play some media , a WMV file, from FOXDIGITALCOPY, and it seems Xperia doesnt support it - atleast that's what the FOXDIGITALCOPY software tells me when I tried to sync up the media from my PC.
Also, this file doesnt even show up on the mediascape screen though I copied into the videos folder where other videos are saved.
I tried to play a more smaller and simpler file - the wildlife HD video sample from Windows - which is again a WMV file.
This time, Xperia tries to play it, but the video only comes up as stills while the audio plays as normal.

I had this problem while installing media go in my PC. it couldn't be installed. a dialog box appears says "The Visual C++ Redistributable has failed to install. Please consult the Microsoft knowledge base article at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/556085/ja for more information on this problem"
when i opened it, the contain was all Japanese language i don't understand.

I just got the x10 and have a few questions. This is my first android/data using phone so they are probably dumb but I just wanna make sure before I get charged any extra. First, am I correct in that if I use Wi-Fi I will avoid the 3g charges since Im using another internet source? Also do things like the MobileTV and GPS use data?My second question was about mediascape. Is there any way to move or cut/paste media into different folders so that they dont show up in mediascape but rather have their own designated folder?

I used to have the free version of Weather Bug downloaded but recently decided to give the Weather Channel app a try since it has animated radar. Maybe it's just my imagination but ever since I started using the Weather Channel app it seems like my battery doesn't last as long. Does anyone know if it uses more battery juice than Weather Bug? I was going to download Weather Bug again to compare the two but I can't seem to find the free version any more.
