Media :: Videos / No Support For Adobe Flash Player
Sep 4, 2010I am new to this site not so much to the android world, but there is something that keep annoying me and its when I go to youtube or to watch my anime episodes on my Motorola blur and it tells me a need a adobe reader but when I go into the website it tells me my phone doesn't support the software. Is there an app for this?

May 1, 2010I'm sure that this has been asked before, but after searching the forum I came up with some older posts regarding flash player (obviously not released at that point). Anyways, I received my HTC Incredible and noticed that it has full flash support, but my brother's HTC Eris does not. Is there any release for flash for the Eris or does it have to wait until the full release?

Dec 28, 2009How one of the biggest news about eclair coming out in 2010 is that support for Flash 10 (or ANY Flash for that matter) will be built into it. This does not appear to be the case for the fact that I download all the latest source code for Eclair, built and installed Eclair onto my development phone over the Christmas break and to my surprise/ disappointment there is absolutely no support for Flash when I try to view with the browser. I tried plugin's and searching for missing .apk installs for Flash but I found nothing. Unless I am missing something (i.e. maybe a side tree build for flash?) and if I did then I apologize but from what I can tell as of now the Eclair build does and will not support flash.

Dec 3, 2010I am planning to buy a 32 gb micro sdhc card for my Xperia X10.However, I have found tons of confusing and conflicting information here on SE forums and all over the net.To my surprise, even Sony Ericsson itself giving conflicting information regarding this.On the product page of Xperia X10 (click this link and click on the specifications), it says that Xperia X10 supports microSD up to 16GB only.Whereas the official Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 White paper (on page no.5) says that it supports -microSD, up to 32 GB. (The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 White paper can be downloaded from this link).Now i urge someone, preferably an SE moderator or staff, to enlighten on this matter and answer how and why SE is giving contradictory and confusing statements regarding the sd card capability and compatibility for the same product?.

Dec 4, 2010I found this site and tested it and it works so you can get Adobe Flash Player to work on your x10 version 2.1. I used the default web app and Dolphin HD browser and it worked through both:

Go to this site and download the apk file to you computer and manually load it onto your phone either by copying to your SD Card and installing. Or If you use MyPhone explorer software then install it though that, once installed re-boot your phone. I tested it on the Avatar web site below and it played exactly the same on the phone as the PC, you have to be patient and wait for Flash Player to load the clip and you really need to do this over a WiFi connection, tap the play arrow in the middle of the screen. But as I said be patient it wont happen immediately but it wont take too long, remember its a phone not a PC.

Aug 15, 2010I was able to update my droid to the 2.2 version but when I get adobe flash player software and move it to the G drive (where the android is on my pc when its connected) nothing seems to come up on my phone. I must be missing some setup moves on my phone.

Sep 10, 2010I just rooted my phone. I'm not new to rooting either. And when I was pulling up a file, I got this screen. Another interesting thing, is that we have a file called FlashSVGPlayer.apk embedded into the phone, and FlashPlugin.apk
Update:
FlashPlugin.apk is Pineone Flashlite Plugin.
but FlashSVGPlayer.apk is Adobe Flash Player.

I really like to phone but there are some things I can't figure out and their tech service wasn't able to answer my questions.First of all I couldn't figure out how to download my pictures from phone to my PC by using USB cable connection. I totally don't understand how USB works with it at all.Second thing, I was trying to watch some of my TV shows but I wasn't able to do so because requests to have adobe flash player. But couldn't manage to download. Is there another program I can use?If anyone has answers for me that would be great.
