Sep 9, 2010Media Go etc. What is the "good" way to sync my pc and X10 media?
Is there a support forum for Media Go? Is this a Sony product?
After a week I am starting to hate this phone. I thought that ITunes was terrible, well all the non working together components of this phone make it a bad purchase.
Media Go is so bug filled as to make other media programs look like super stars.

Sep 13, 2010This time I wanted to play some media , a WMV file, from FOXDIGITALCOPY, and it seems Xperia doesnt support it - atleast that's what the FOXDIGITALCOPY software tells me when I tried to sync up the media from my PC.
Also, this file doesnt even show up on the mediascape screen though I copied into the videos folder where other videos are saved.
I tried to play a more smaller and simpler file - the wildlife HD video sample from Windows - which is again a WMV file.
This time, Xperia tries to play it, but the video only comes up as stills while the audio plays as normal.

Sep 15, 2010I initially synced with Media Go and all of my music transferred, but now that I have made some changes on Media Go, I don't know how to make them transfer to my phone. I connect my phone to the computer, and my phone shows up as a F: drive device. I am used to iTunes and there being a Sync button.

Nov 18, 2010I made a account on the community of sony erricsson so i can sync and update my data from the net.
The first sync of contacts, calander etc was oke.
But since a couple of days i cannot sync my contact with Sony Ericsson, i Tried to connect but always the same : sync failed .
Checked the internet connection and al seems working properly, gmail sync oke, all oke except the sync with Sony Ericcson.Any a idea how to resolve the problem .
Perhaps a setting but seems strange because nothing as changed since the first time.

Nov 11, 2010I have a sony ericsson x10a branded with at&t. I have been trying to root it for sometime now, but every time i try to, the process never works because my computer can't detect. I changed usb ports and changed my "path" settings. When i run regetid it finds the usb port, but the device i.d. is incorrect (when i go to root, it still won't find the device.) Dec 2, 2010I'd like to use my X10 to keep all of my contacts' postal addresses in instead of the tatty old address book I carry in my handbag(!) I didn't fancy typing them all into the phone, so thought I would use the Sony Ericsson sync and put them into the pc first via the PC Companion sync application, and set up the sync to transfer them into my phone. I have tried a test run adding only a couple of addresses to my contacts on the pc, and adding one to my phone, but when I do a sync, the addresses don't transfer either way. I know that the actual sync is working because I added photos too and they transfer....... I must be doing something wrong that is easily rectified?
