Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 : Syncing Microsoft Exchange Error

I have recently purchased sony xperia X10 (android operating system). I want to get it sync with Microsoft Exchange 2007. I got the problem doing so.I have entered the mail id, password and server address but the error message taping on screen is "please provide detailed server information.(0)" sometime "please provide detailed server information" I was using windows phone earlier and it was working fine, but it is not getting activated on moxier sync or android. I use Microsoft online productivity suit and server address is : https://red003.mail.apac.microsoftonline.com/owa.do anyone have any support for this?

I was wondering if anyone is having difficulty with Touchdown or the native mail app in syncing with their work email through microsoft exchange. For some reason older mail disappears in both the native mail app and touchdown. Sometimes I would see an older email I kept and then it disappears. I have set it up so that email only gets deleted from our servers when I say so. I'm also running 2.2 Froyo. Also in the native mail app, I have deleted an email but it comes back, it never gets deleted. A little frustrating to say the least.

I've just upgraded to an Xperia X10 and it looks like people using Outlook contacts and calendar are not supported.
I don't want my contacts and calendar on the Google web server,
Am I really that unusual in not wanting my contact list and calendar contents spinning around the world.?
From what I've read so far there are third party applications that try to fill need, some focused on contatcs and some on the calendar.
Also, that these application add an additional, unexpected cost.
What I want is for the USB connection to provide the ability to sync with Microsoft Outlook on my local PC.
If thats not possible, it would be good to know quickly so I can take the phone back and swap it for one that will let me use Outlook.

My first SE phone was the venerable T61d GAIT phone. I've owned perhaps a dozen SE phones over the years and they have all been stellar, sturdy, feature-packed devices. But after the Xperia x10 experience, I will be extremely unlikely to purchase another SE phone. Nobody not AT&T and not SE Customer Service can explain why the rest of the world already has the 2.1 Android update, but AT&T/America does not. SE also can't explain how it forgot to include contact sync into a "smart" phone. Heck, my very basic T61d phone could sync contacts SE can't explain the so-so earpiece volume (I usually have to talk on speakerphone on this device). They can't explain why the touch screen is so in accurate (it's hard to type the letter "p" since the digitizer usually picks "o" instead). The Xperian x10 is a VERY flawed device. I feel like I really wasted my money.

I have had my Sony Ericsson Experia X10 for 4 months now and are happy with it although I seem to be continuously charging the battery? I haven't really looked at that many Android apps but I can't find a decent office type program similar to Microsoft Office or Open office to use excel, or similar office documents whilst I'm away from my laptop? Also are there any Krazy kiwis living out there using the great Android networks living in the UK, or even better in Bristol? I would love to hear from you soon

I have searched and searched but I must be missing something. I have an Xperia X10 and my wife has an HTC legend. I use mine for work and sync up no problem using Moxier with my corporate exchange server.I want to also setup my personal email using another program. I have tried the stock email program (underwhelming) and K9. I cant get either one to sync with my outlook. I can set up my email address in them, and as long as my outlook on my home PC is closed I can receive emails. As soon as it is opened, emails arrive on the PC and do not show up on my phone.What am I missing? What is the terminology for what I want to do? I am running Outlook 2003, and I dont really use calendar or other functions but I want both our phones ad PC to all e in sync mail wise.

I need help syncing my xperia x10 to my PC Companion through BT. Pc is able to detect and install the drivers but I keep getting an error message on my PC Companion saying my phone, is not able to connect through bluetooth at the moment. Tried rebooting pc, reinstalling PC Companion, still nothing.

I was using my PC Companion software today to sync up my music and noted the Syncing link. When I started it, it brought me to a Sony website where I can store and sync contact's, calendar and a bunch of things. So it looked pretty interesting and it is free, part of the X10 package, or is it? Well it appears AT&T has stripped that option out of our phones as there is No SE Sync option in the sync section of our settings. Even if we follow the directions to do it, still no joy.

I just received my X10 yesterday and had no trouble syncing gmail, google calendar, and google contacts last night.
This morning I decided to clean up my contacts in the web browser on my laptop since there were lots of duplicates and some names were first + last and some were last, first. I just wanted some consistency. So I spent a consderable amount of time doing that. Now they're clean in the web browser.
The problem is that now I can't sync them to my phone. I've tried countless times, and the little symbol spins, but then nothing is changed once the sync is finished.
The only contact that appears in the phone book is my own number. I've also tried powering off the phone, turning off automatic syncing, and logging out of gmail on the laptop.

Just had to reset phone due to issues and guess what i get different one this time.
My sync wont work with sony soft ware due to email not existing to a current account or pass word is wrong, Niether are due to I can log in via my pc no problems
My second new issue since the so called up date is my wifi keep looseing it connection and unable to connect again even though the passwords not change and the single strength still the same.
My point is are othe people having similar issue and is sony aware and will the soft ware update pos when ever they are going IF going to happen pos sort this out.

My phone is not able to communicate with any google server and as a result I cant access the Market, Facebook, Email and other such features which require a google account. It is showing "Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server." This persists since I bought the phone about two weeks ago.

It appears now for the 2nd month that my wifes phone has used 70MB of data even though she goes on the internet perhaps once a week.- 2nd month of £65-70 extra on phone bill
Ive looked at all the settings, and it may appear that the phone is constantly trying to sync., as it appears that there is a sync error.
Can anybody help me as how to cancel this?

I recently updated my x 10 mini pro to éclair. The problem i faced was wen i synced my phone with my goggle account and imported contacts from a vcf file that i had backed up earlier, all my contacts have same phone number multiple times. I have disabled syncing goggle contacts, disabled showing goggle contacts and just the phone contacts to show... but of i edit a contact and select the option of split contacts.

Has anyone experienced Timescape emails not syncing? My facebook and twitter feeds update properly, but the emails don't update unless I reboot. The emails will initially update after reboot, but won't update again until the next reboot. I've gone into "Email" and set my "Email check frequency" to every 5 minutes, but this does not seem to have any effect on Timescape.

Does anyone else get this error message from time to time? Its very annoying and happens at the worst time (ie when a really super photo shot happens).I either have to reboot my phone before it will comes right or alternatively I have to keep trying to reload the camera and sometimes on about the 4th or 5th attempt it comes right.Can this be rectified? Is it a setting i have wrong? This is such an amazing phone, but man oh man, does it have some bugs that need to be worked out

I recently went through a process recommended by Sony Support to download latest software update to my X10 (depite the fact that the inbuilt update process repeatedly informed me I had the latest software.) Now when i use the inbuilt procedure od SETTINGS/About Phone/Software update/ Update Now (with the WiFi & mobile networks setting selected) my X10 helpfully tells me "your phone will now search to see if any new sofware is available". After a few seconds it then informs me "Could not update - network error".

When I try to make a call, I select a number and it displays "Dialing", then I wait few seconds and it displays "Call ended" and ends the call.No dialing tone or anything.It does it a lot.And people cannot get hold of me as well. Therefore I miss a lot of calls.I tried switching my SIM card to another phone and its better.Anything I can do? SO annoying, damn expensive phone and cannot use it properly.I am on Three network, UK.

After taking a picture, it comes up with the (process com.newbay.pixota) error photo seems to save fine, but the error message happens after every pic about the application not working (process com.newbay.pixota)anyone know how I can fix this?
