Everytime I try to use the track id on the X10 I keep getting the following error:

I've had the phone a few days now and this has not worked for me once.

I've been track id-ing a dozen of songs using my mini X10 (not pro version) and I just realized, how am I to delete the search results? Cant find a "delete several" button anywhere so I am stuck with the lists of songs id-ed and it lags the phone while browsing through it.

Some people have already mentioned that their phone did not tell them their was an update available yet, but when they plugged their phone onto the "PC Companion" it started updating to 2.1. Just leave your reply below if you got the update for your country. Also mention your provider because it seems to be provider dependable as well!

Does anyone else get this error message from time to time? Its very annoying and happens at the worst time (ie when a really super photo shot happens).I either have to reboot my phone before it will comes right or alternatively I have to keep trying to reload the camera and sometimes on about the 4th or 5th attempt it comes right.Can this be rectified? Is it a setting i have wrong? This is such an amazing phone, but man oh man, does it have some bugs that need to be worked out

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently went through a process recommended by Sony Support to download latest software update to my X10 (depite the fact that the inbuilt update process repeatedly informed me I had the latest software.) Now when i use the inbuilt procedure od SETTINGS/About Phone/Software update/ Update Now (with the WiFi & mobile networks setting selected) my X10 helpfully tells me "your phone will now search to see if any new sofware is available". After a few seconds it then informs me "Could not update - network error".

I got the problem doing so.I have entered the mail id, password and server address but the error message taping on screen is "please provide detailed server information.(0)" sometime "please provide detailed server information" I was using windows phone earlier and it was working fine, but it is not getting activated on moxier sync or android. not sure if you have experienced the same problem. my husband has an iphone 4 and he records video of our daughter sometimes and emails them to me. I have problems watching them in the xperia x10. I can watch the videos but i can't hear the sound even when i turn up the volume.

View 7 Replies View RelatedYesterday i added a security pattern where you have to fill in the pattern when the phone like starts. I took the wrong pattern and have to login with google stuff now. I did login and all stuff, but i get error saying wrong password or username. I checked on google.com that it was correct and it is. Now i do not have Internet checked on before it went to locking so i dunno if its the reason that i do not have the internet connection on it.

Ok, so I've been trying for over 2hrs (pathetic, I know) to figure out how to get music on my phone. It's making me miss my blackberry!!. Ok, so, I mount the phone, and there's a folder (music) that I made, and it has the songs in it. BUT, when I go to Mediascape, I get the error message, "Memory Card Unavaible".

This was reported in the other thread about X8 Issues, but thought to start a new one to gather feedback from users. It's about the ''black screen'' freezing issue encountered by some users. I have had this several times since owning the phone for a few weeks, so it is a recurring issue. Problem: The phone hangs or appears to be shut down or become unresponsive suddenly. Pressing the hardware buttons doesn't help as the phone doesn't react at all. Solution: Take out cover and battery and restart.Observations: From my own observations, it's not actually a shutdown but a major freezing/hanging. Sometimes when it happens, I can still see vague shades of the display at an angle. After leaving the phone for a while in the pocket, the phone comes back to normal again. Not sure if this is true for all users with this problem. Anyway, gathering more feedback to see how prevalent the problem is, to evaluate whether I should take it to the SE service centre, or whether doing so will help at all.

I was surprised that SONY is not providing a software which enables the user to sync the Xperia X10 mini pro directly with your computer (e.g. Outlook).
After wasting a lot of time I generated an account at Sony webpage and managed all my accounts including "birthday" but now I found out that the
phone is not creating a corresponding calendar entry and therefore my phone is not reminding me for any birthday.
