Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: No Syncing Available

My first SE phone was the venerable T61d GAIT phone. I've owned perhaps a dozen SE phones over the years and they have all been stellar, sturdy, feature-packed devices. But after the Xperia x10 experience, I will be extremely unlikely to purchase another SE phone. Nobody not AT&T and not SE Customer Service can explain why the rest of the world already has the 2.1 Android update, but AT&T/America does not. SE also can't explain how it forgot to include contact sync into a "smart" phone. Heck, my very basic T61d phone could sync contacts SE can't explain the so-so earpiece volume (I usually have to talk on speakerphone on this device). They can't explain why the touch screen is so in accurate (it's hard to type the letter "p" since the digitizer usually picks "o" instead). The Xperian x10 is a VERY flawed device. I feel like I really wasted my money.
