Whenever I connect to my desktop, my PC notifications on my phone go on and off over and over again, my folders will come up on my pc, but then the phone disconnects, and reconnects and asks me again for "PC Companion Installation", and ideas on wtf is happening here?

Was loving my X10 Mini Pro.
But now it has recently started 'disconnecting'. I pick it up wondering why no phone calls nor texts are coming through and it's because I need to put my SIM unlock code in. Once I do that the phone is fine - but only for a short while. I check and there it is again, "enter PIN code".
I've had about three weeks use out of it, and now this.
Is it an app [have started uninstalling one by one]
Is it the software repair I did [when I thought I was updating software to new OS]
Does it have to go back?
If so, how do they work? Different colors?

View 1 Replies View RelatedYesterday (08/08/10) my X10 said there was a new update available and to download correctly I needed to connect it to a computer update through PC Companion 2.0. I did this and followed all the on screen instructions correctly. I got to the final stage and it asked me to disconnect the phone switch it off remove the battery, reinsert and then turn it back on again. The instructions said it may take awhile for the phone to come back on again because the phone will be updating. So far my phone has not come back on again after 24 hours of waiting, all that happens is the sony ericsson logo is displayed for about 10 seconds and then the phone turns off then the same process is repeated. Any ideas whats happened or what I can do to fix this or will it be a job for Sony? I have emailed them but of course they were absolutly no help what so ever.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just got the x10 mini. i have set my hotmail account up on the email function and have gone into settings and set up to get notifications of new emails coming through. the problem i am having is that i only get the notifications when i physically go into the email function and refresh- which completely defeats the point of the function. Is there a such app that I can use with my X10? Or is there a GPS service with turn by turn voice instructions that I can sign up for?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've had my X10 mini pro for about a month and now I can't stand some of the "features" anymore. First, I thought people where crazy, sending me the same sms two or three times in a row. But now I've realized that they aren't, it's just my phone that receives them over and over again. It is the same thing with notifications. If I set a reminder in the calendar, the reminder pops up in my notification bar sometimes five or six times before I get to angry and delete the whole event from the calendar. Is these problems specific to me or do anyone else recognize them?
