I cannot find where to change the ring tone for incoming SMS's, facebook alerts but will only give me standard ringtones. I have downloaded some for this to be applied but cannot find how to do it on my X10i.

I would like to know if i can set my SMS ring tone to what i want instead of the preset ones on the phone. I have never had a phone that cant so am very surprised this one seems not to be able to or am i missing something.

when my Xperia X10 has an incoming call ?
When listening to my music and an incoming call comes in, you cant hear the ringtone in my headset. The only time you hear it is when you press the button to accept the call for about 1 second.

It seems to happen "randomly" and I generally find out the hard way when I've missed a call. Has anyone run into this problem, and any possible remedies?

But the built-in mic doesn't seem to work when I have the headphones still plugged in? So the caller can't hear me talk... Is this a setting I have overlooked? Instead of the normal ringtone I have set up and has been working normally since I started using the phone, I now get a horrible quick-beeping notification tone whenever I receive a call/text. have tried going into Settings>Sound&Display and re-selecting the appropriate ringtones and notifications but this makes no difference. I still get the fast beeping as my alert tone. When I check what tone is selected, my current tones are still set.Has anyone else had this problem and resolved it? I asked about it and I was told there should be an application that will let it work but I don't really know what I am looking for.
So I noticed that the ringtone volume is really really low and the headset earpiece volume is really low too. Its so low that I am thinking that i may have a faulty unit. The ringtone on max is about half as loud as a iphone and the earpiece volume is about half of any other phone that i have owned.
Has any other owners experienced the same?
Recently bought the x10 and I am still getting used to it. One thing I have noticed is that when a caller not on my list is calling, I only see the number. When I plop my sim back into my old shitty LG VU, I can once again see the number and the name registered to it. Is this an x10 thing?
