View 1 RepliesWhen listening to my music and an incoming call comes in, you cant hear the ringtone in my headset. The only time you hear it is when you press the button to accept the call for about 1 second.

View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently bought the x10 and I am still getting used to it. One thing I have noticed is that when a caller not on my list is calling, I only see the number. When I plop my sim back into my old shitty LG VU, I can once again see the number and the name registered to it. Is this an x10 thing?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhenever I receive incoming calls, the caller, and even the phone number, doesn't appear to me, that is, the caller always appears as unknown. This means that I don't know who my missed calls are from if they don't get to voicemail. This isn't because of privacy settings on the other phones, I know, because some of the people have public numbers. Does anyone know what's causing this? And if you do, is there a way that I can fix it?

View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently got my X10 Mini Pro. When driving my motorbike and listening to the radio with the handsfree headset I want to answer incoming calls without touching any button. This I could do with the P1, and X1 phones, but the X10 Mini Pro seems to miss this great feature. Could there be an update or some add-on for Android phones I could download to get this feature?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently bought this phone from Rogers (I still have a week to test this thing out to make sure it's not broken) I'm noticing that answering incoming calls can sometimes take up to 20 seconds before the other side can hear me! I can make calls and people can hear me as soon as the call begins but I'm answering the phone after it has shut itself down (I mean the screen goes dark and then I need to slide the slider on the screen to answer the call) SOMETIMES there will be a few seconds delay, sometimes nothing but I've had up to 20 seconds delay on multiple occasions I'm running 1.6, and from the sounds of it, we won't get 2.1 until next month but is ANYONE else getting these issues? Should I return this phone for another? This is inexcusable and I am having too many callers hang up the phone on me because they think they have a bad connection but in reality there is a delay before they can hear me.
View 4 Replies View RelatedYesterday when i picked up a call i turned the speaker on but thereafter i am not getting the ringer tone for my incoming calls though i've not kept it on mute nor silent. My ringer volume band shows full volume. besides, I am also not able to play any music file provided by the phone. Can any one please help me how to enable my ringer or sound.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen the Bluetooth is on and I am near my laptop, incoming calls are connected without the phone being touched. I have seen a few comments about this in other threads, so it is not just me and this is the 3rd replacement phone, so it is not just a one-off fault.
Advice and guidance please?
How to set the phone up so that I can view incoming/missed calls numbers? what happens now that all phone calls are just recorded as "unknown"on the screen, even for those I've already saved in the contact list. or should I contact my network provider which is optus in Australia?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI use Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro MK16I. (Rooted, Bootloader unlocked).
Recently I had issues syncing contacts with Google, Fb etc and I had to do a factory reset of the phone. Since then I've following issues so far.
1. Incoming calls are getting rejected automatically
2. Silent, Flight mode are missing when I press the power button
3. When I'm in some application and if I press the Menu/Home button, it does not take me to the home screen and nothing happens
4. Windows can't detect or install the drivers for the phone, even if I do it through the 3rd party sources windows still doesn't show it.
Just got the mobile 3 days back.I am unable to make or receive calls on X10 from yesterday. Have tried the following things : 1) Switching Off 2) Updating the software. But both these methods have not helped. Able to use WAP/GPRS but calls are not getting connected. Have tried to change the call waiting settings, phone says Network or Sim Card Error.Signal strength is also pretty decent (3-4 bars). I have tried my sim in other phones Nokia, Samsung, and it works perfectly fine.Have tried other sims on X10 and they too are showing the same error. Can't figure out what the problem is?
View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter a couple of days the phone is unable to make or receive calls, or send or receive txt messages. If I try and make a call it attempts to start the call, but immediately comes back with unavailable. Incoming calls go straight to voicemail. Outgoing txt messages don't work. What is strange is that if I try and browse the web (over 3G) then that works fine! I have tried doing a network scan again, and reregistering to Tmobile, but that doesn't make a difference.
If I turn the phone off and on again, then it is fine and all calls/txts are working again. I have seen this 4 times now with my phone. It doesn't always happen, but it has happened a few times now which is worrying. The annoying thing is that you obviously don't know when incoming calls stop. You only find out the problem has occured when you attempt to make a call or send a TXT.
I am having an intermittent problem where callers can't hear me for 6-10 seconds when they call. This is a t best embarrassing and frequently they hang up. As I say the problem is intermittent - sometimes the phone answers as usual. Interestingly, I can hear them talking (and usually saying 'hello? hello?) but they can't hear me and I just keep saying hello until they hang up or until the sound kicks in and we can converse.
I did a factory reset with no improvement, and have also downloaded the PC updater and updated the system with no improvement. Then, I spoke to a friend the other night who described an identical problem with his X10.
I got a problem with my xperia X10 mini, that I would really appreciate if anyone could explain or tell me how to fix. suddenly I cant hear the other person talk when calling them or them calling me. the weird thing is that they can hear me. I have already tried to reset the phone, but non of that seem to work, what should I do now?
View 1 Replies View RelatedAnyone else have people complaining that they hear an annoying noise in the background when on a call? I am fed up now of people complaining. I have done a factory reset, updated the phone to the latest software and still get the problem.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen listening music, using Mediascape, I get an incoming call. When I accept it, music stops and I hear the caller. But the built-in mic doesn't seem to work when I have the headphones still plugged in? So the caller can't hear me talk... Is this a setting I have overlooked? Does anyone know how to keep the built-in mic working when I have just headphones (Sennheiser IE7 without mic obviously) plugged in?

View 7 Replies View Relatedon my Xperia 10 after upgrading to OS 2.1, I lost the ability to press the on/off button on top to ignore a call which would also send it to any "forward when busy number".Anyone have a suggestion of what will do that now?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am X10 owner but can anyone tell me how to save text messages that come in to my phone. This phone is nowhere as simple as an old nokia or SE. Also how do I forward messages that I receive. Don't mind saving them on the phone memory or SD card but need to be able to get to them and ensure they are in folders - inbox, sent items etc.

View 3 Replies View RelatedPerhaps stupid but in android 1.6 together with the wifi and gps there was a icon to select the sound on/off/vibration know after update to 2.1 i can't find a fast way to change de sound to off or vibration except via the setting menu.
Is there a widget or perhaps a link so you can put it on one of the screens.
Had my phone a couple of weeks now, very pleased with it in general. But find it infuriating when I simply can't end a call, or use the dial pad to select numbers when calling. Also it has turned itself off a couple of time even though fully charged.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just received my sony x10 minpro - very happy with it! Does any one know if you can record phone calls? on my sony C903, you could go into the options while on a call and press record. Is there any way to do this on the minipro?
View 3 Replies View RelatedHas anyone had the same problems with their X10's as me? When trying to make a call (to landlines or mobiles) my phone often cuts out with a 'beep'. Sometimes its after no rings, sometimes after 4+ rings and even sometimes after the call has connected. Each time, after i call the person back, it connects without a problem.
I've taken the phone back to the shop where purchased for a repair and tried factory resets and software updates but with no success. Any ideas anyone? I'd love to get this fixed because this fundamental flaw (possibly just with my handset) is ruining my X10 experience.
