View 6 Replies View RelatedI just got X10 with Android. Unlike the blackberry that I used to own I cannot access the microSD card from my linux machine. It detects it but does not open it for file transfers. I replaced the microSD card with the one I had in Blackberry and the phone accepetd it and was able to find all the media files on it. However the linux desktop (Fedora 12) still could not access it. Note this is the same SD card that I used in BB and all the files there were transferred using this linux machine before. Is it something in SE X10 that is blocking this.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI tried to send my wife a copy of a picture using Bluetooth yesterday, by going to the picture, pressing the left button (the one with 4 squares).Somehow, it gave my wife access to all the files on my phone.That didn't matter, insofar as there was nothing on it I didn't mind her seeing (though I don't think she expected quite so many pictures of Lucy Liu! ) but I wonder if anyone knows what I might have done wrong?Or, perhaps, the phone is set up in such a way that you have to be sure to trust someone completely before sending information by Bluetooth?If it helps, I'll try to recreate what happened later, but if anyone knows off-hand what I might have done and how it ought to be done differently.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI took my X10 to the SonyErricson shop to get the local sim working and GBP 60 later they managed to stuff the phone. The local sim now works but but the phone is useless as it does not power up When I put the SD card in. The authorised shop started speaking in Arabic telling me they could not help. I suspect they did not do a good job unlocking it or screwed up the os somehow. I tried to use the "Update Service" software and this says: "Failed to Detect Product" I have a catch 22 situtation as I cant power up and I cant use the phone without the sd card. I just want to reset the os so I can get back to defaults.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've just started having a problem with my big x10i, if I put the 8gb card that came with the phone in, I get a message in the status bar saying 'checking for errors'. At this point the phone goes really slow and if the phone locks I'm unable to unlock it and I have to take the battery out. I tried putting a different card (2gb) and it just keeps saying in the status bar 'SD card removed. Insert a new one' the whole phone is annoying me now as this is not the first problem I've had with it.Hope someone can help before I insert hammer in it.

I can't find anything in the the manuals or by Googling. There's info about inserting the SD card, but not about removing them. I looked at pics and checked out the phone with the cover off, but can't figure it out. It must be easy and right under my nose, but I'm missing it. I know there's a card in there because settings recognizes it.

View 9 Replies View RelatedSince last 4-5 days, I am seeing that whenever I connect my phone to my laptop (using usb), the phone restart and during this time I will have access to memory card for few seconds (30 sec), after that the card gets unmounted (from PC) and I will see a warning symbol (yellow triangle) on phone's notification bar. So i am unable to copy data to and fro from my phone. All this trouble started since I upgraded to 2.1 Note: I have checked the memory card by putting it to another phone and it works fine.

So I wanted to use a bigger card 8 gb. It's a new card, but the x10 mini doesn't recognize it. What can I do? How can I solve this problem? The card is not broken, I can use it in my nokia and read it on the computer.
