I have a X10 mini pro that I need to put a larger sd card into. I have a lot of stuff on the 2gb card that came with the phone here in Australia. Can any one explain to me how go about copying from the existing card to a new card please?

My question is: how do we get that little SD card out of the mini-pro? Is there an eject button or some trick to getting it popped out? I can't find anything in the the manuals or by Googling. There's info about inserting the SD card, but not about removing them. I looked at pics and checked out the phone with the cover off, but can't figure it out. It must be easy and right under my nose, but I'm missing it. I know there's a card in there because settings recognizes it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSince last 4-5 days, I am seeing that whenever I connect my phone to my laptop (using usb), the phone restart and during this time I will have access to memory card for few seconds (30 sec), after that the card gets unmounted (from PC) and I will see a warning symbol (yellow triangle) on phone's notification bar. So i am unable to copy data to and fro from my phone. All this trouble started since I upgraded to 2.1 Note: I have checked the memory card by putting it to another phone and it works fine.

So I wanted to use a bigger card 8 gb. It's a new card, but the x10 mini doesn't recognize it. What can I do? How can I solve this problem? After i off & on and inserted the SD card, take 1 or 2 picture(s), it will prompt me again. Then, watever picture(s) (the latest one) was not saved... I can only view all the old pictures only Next, when i deleted all the pictures in the album, they will still appear again after i off & on the phone... Tried deleted them from the Media Go but still after off & on, they will appear again.

View 48 Replies View RelatedI still have the songs I had b4 I've downloaded the 2.1 OS; when I look into the X10 Mini, the "AVAILABLE ROOM" seems to have gotten bigger; but I also have many times in which the phone says: "no SD card found" or "no available storage" and such, regardless all my songs are there(not sure where!), and the "SD and storage" still shows the amount of memory like - Total room: 3.67GB and Available room: 3.11GB; considering I only had about 1.70GB left pryor to the 2.1 OS update!
View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought a new Sony Ericsson X10 xperia mini pro.. it has a 2GB memory card..but since i want to expand the memory i bought a new 8 GB memory card and inserted it..and when i restart the phone, the phone shows SD card removed. Insert a new one. And definitely the SD card is not corrupted since it works fine on the other phones. If the problem is with my phone then it should not be detecting the 2 GB card but it detects only that card and not the new one.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I'm trying to transfer music files or whatever to my x10 mini pro via USB, files larger than 2.5Mb get completely hung up, crashing both my phone and my computer (this happens on my work desktop and my laptop at home, win7 and winXP). I have to disconnect the cable and take out the battery and restart my phone in order to fix it. Smaller files go quickly and without issue, which leads me to believe it's not an issue with the usb cable (I've tried a few different ones also). Also, if I transfer files to the SDcard directly using a card reader, it's no problem. This is super frustrating since it means I have to take the back off the phone and take the card out to move music around, and it's something I do pretty often.

I received my new x10 mini phone a few days ago and am really impressed by it.
But...
After the phone has been off, the camera works fine the first time I start it.
And if I close the camera application and start it again straight away it also works fine.
But if I wait for maybe half an hour or more and then open the camera application, the phone reboots itself.
This is very repeatable and it looks like there's something wrong in the software or so.

I have an experia x10 mini pro and I am having problems with charging it. Sometimes it would charge then sometimes it wouldn't and it is already annoying the **** out of me. Another problem with it is that when I play music with it, it would just suddenly turn off by itself. I've tried to send it for fixing to sony ericson but they said that the problem is unfixable. And I only had my phone for 1 and a half month and im already having this problem. I tried to reason with the ericson people but they said there is nothing they could do.
If anyone has any idea on how to fix this.
