I copied a pdf to my sd card but the music and image files were visible but couldn't find the pdf file so I shifted it first 2 video folder than 2 album but I still cant find it on my mini pro? Jul 28, 2010I just got X10 with Android. Unlike the blackberry that I used to own I cannot access the microSD card from my linux machine. It detects it but does not open it for file transfers. I replaced the microSD card with the one I had in Blackberry and the phone accepetd it and was able to find all the media files on it. However the linux desktop (Fedora 12) still could not access it. Note this is the same SD card that I used in BB and all the files there were transferred using this linux machine before. Is it something in SE X10 that is blocking this.

Dec 3, 2010I am planning to buy a 32 gb micro sdhc card for my Xperia X10.However, I have found tons of confusing and conflicting information here on SE forums and all over the net.To my surprise, even Sony Ericsson itself giving conflicting information regarding this.On the product page of Xperia X10 (click this link and click on the specifications), it says that Xperia X10 supports microSD up to 16GB only.Whereas the official Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 White paper (on page no.5) says that it supports -microSD, up to 32 GB. (The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 White paper can be downloaded from this link).Now i urge someone, preferably an SE moderator or staff, to enlighten on this matter and answer how and why SE is giving contradictory and confusing statements regarding the sd card capability and compatibility for the same product?.

Dec 3, 2010I have been using Xperia X10i from its launch. It was amazing when it was 1.6. Today it is 2.1 and the access is more to its core. Recently I have installed Z4 Root and ROM Manager. When I click on ROM Manager, it asks to select Phone Model. And in the list I do not find Xperia X10. Can I select any phone model and run the process. Got little scared, as phone might brick.

Tried tech support, but they were of no help. Said I needed to use gmail instead. Can't change everything over at this late date. Have archived stuff in hotmail going back years. Jul 22, 2010I tried to send my wife a copy of a picture using Bluetooth yesterday, by going to the picture, pressing the left button (the one with 4 squares).Somehow, it gave my wife access to all the files on my phone.That didn't matter, insofar as there was nothing on it I didn't mind her seeing (though I don't think she expected quite so many pictures of Lucy Liu! ) but I wonder if anyone knows what I might have done wrong?Or, perhaps, the phone is set up in such a way that you have to be sure to trust someone completely before sending information by Bluetooth?If it helps, I'll try to recreate what happened later, but if anyone knows off-hand what I might have done and how it ought to be done differently.

Oct 10, 2010I am a new user - lovely phone but my old black and white nokia had more functionality with calenders and reminders.
I do not use online only connected through my PC.
I do not have internet access on my SIM - all I want is a camera video phone with calender alarm clock and reminders.
I can not get a calender to operate.
I put a friends SIM card in to get internet access as phone kept asking me to start a gmail account to use the calender - after I take out the SIM it stops working
I have reset phone and updated softwares and still no calender option without google. What do I do now - the manual is NO HELP. How can I connect phone to PC and bring contacts over without this stupid synching I would never use.

Sep 21, 2010I got an X10 mini pro. It feels great. I tried Internet access but I don't know how I get that without using my telephony operator (and being charged for every byte transferred).
I have internet connection home on my computer. I thought connecting my X10 mini pro to my computer through USB would be enough to have free internet and download from Android Market among other things. However, it doesn't work like that. I tried to activate "Airplane mode" so as to cut off al wireless connections and use USB "forcing" my X10 mini pro to look for th internet that way but it does not have internet access through USB connection with my computer (Internet works great on my computer).
