Very often when i try to load a website the browser sits there and does nothing, no upstream or downstream, then, finally when the 3g arrows start doing something the page loads instantly. What is going on? Do i need a different browser?

But when I do this there is no Sony Ericsson option.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIs anyone else having a problem with their browser hanging to load a website and then the only thing that corrects it is restarting the phone? I have having zero issues with this phone except for this. And if not for this, I would probably rarely restart my phone. Sometimes I will pull up the browswer and the bar will fill with about 75% green and then just stop. I try to relaunch the browser, refresh and all of that good stuff to no avail. Once I restart the phone, everything is fine. I am using the stock browswer by the way. Is this a browswer problem? Should I try a different one? Or is it a phone/software problem?

I got a X10 Mini and have sync my old W595 with the website. I just can't sync the website with my X10 with Notes. They are all there in the website but I can't pull the Notes to my X10.

Have tried to download the uninstaller application but after trying it twice for 4 hours each I have given up.Does anyone have any ideas why downloading this app takes so long - it is also the same for the Xpedia flashlight app which I have tried separately. In fact any application seems to take an eternity.
They apps say they are downloading but they are not very large apps so should be there is a flash but after 4 hours I am still waiting.Have tried the switch off/on but still it takes ages - I have full signal (not 3G though) and it doesn't download.
I recently purchased Xperia X10 mini pro handset, however I am facing with one problem.
I am not able to drag down the notification area when I am holding the mobile in portrait mode.
If I shift to landscape mode (by sliding the qwerty keyboard out), then when I press at the top status bar, I can drag the notification area down.
Now I've looked in a lot of places and none of them can specifically say if these are compatible with the x-10. The only thing I found was that the Jaybird is compatible with the iphone... which isn't useful. So does anyone have any experience with these or just know if it works? Ideally, Jaybird can load/play from mediascape (or even the Pandora app but that might be asking for too much), and if a call comes in, the watch vibrates, I look at it to see the caller ID, and I press a button on the wireless headphones to take the call.

When I try to watch a clip on YouTube it takes ages to load.9/10 times it does not play.WHY? Also I wanted to see a clip on BBC Sport page. Guess what it�s not supported. I can't even go onto my local radio station website and listen live.Whats the point in this phone.

However, I was successful getting the internet from my handset browser but not from the applications like Email, Gmail, GTalk, Sony Ericsson Sync, and Market. I've got the notification icon for EDGE data transmission and is being indicated when accessed from the browser but not from the applications.

Today, when I connected the phone (SE Xperia x10i) to PC, I was shown 'update available'. I updated. All worked well, but the Market is not working after the update, nor is the browser. The market is showing 'loading' with terms and conditions (it is more than 3 hours now), while in the browser, only the Google homepage is opening.
No other site or Search option in Google is working. However, other widgets like Facebook, G mail or email is working fine. The phone is showing to be 'up to date'. I have accessed the market quite a number of times before the update & require some apps from it urgently.
I love dolphin browser and have been using it for a few weeks now but. Every time I post on forums it always wants to double post, on here there is a 15 second gap before you can post again but on a lot of the forums I use are for work related pimping, well I post a lot on kite forums and run a kite school so it's kinda work related pimping. It's doing my head in as I have to go and delete a second post every time I post, just curious if any one else had this issue? It was there before I rooted my phone and it's there after I rooted my phone.

View 6 Replies View RelatedGot a brand new phone yesterday. Upgraded it to Android 2.1 before using it. In general, phone is functioning properly, however none of the applications (i.e. YouTube, Gmail, Maps) will work over the 3G connection, but the Web Browser does function ok. The apps will work over WiFi (which isn't much use if you're trying to use maps or gmail on the go). I have tried restarting phone (battery out restart). It is not a signal strength issue, I am getting HSPA with full bars and it still times out with "no connection detected" (or variations thereof, depending on the actual application). I can work around this using the web browser based clients for these apps, but as they aren't streamlined they are a PITA to use.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've bought a Xperia X10 a few weeks ago with great expectations, but it lasted with a huge disappointment! Whatever I guess I have to wait for 2.1 update but I am not sure it will satisfy anybody. As I wrote in title there are some serious and annoying problems, I cant sign in my twitter account on the phone because of login and connection problem (however I didnt get any problems at signing in Facebook and Gmail accounts).
Second problem is "missing" Android Market application on the phone. Anyway I found the official .apk (vending.apk) from the net and loaded to my phone but it didnt work and caused freezing and error messages as "not responding / force to close" etc. Also I cant reach to Market site from Browser, no way!
The last and stupid problem is "reseting and deleting" Browser setting and bookmarks without any reason or action like hardreset or even turn on/off the phone! As an example: I set homepage as google.com and later on I checked ok! but for the second use after a couple of time, when I started the browser it opens with SE Wap Page as default and removed my homepage from settings. Also phone deletes the Bookmarks which I add.
How do I stop visited web addresses appearing when I start typing an address into the browser?
