Jun 21, 2010ONCE Again that Xperia X2 so BAD Mobile Phone. the scenario:
1. I bought the new one before update software to R3AA035 - originally, can sync Only my contact, calender, and task in only 2 hours. I have some contact, but in other phone product, sync only takes 30 minutes. so special with XPeria X2 with WM 6.5
2. then, so many error and I should restart the phone almost 30 TIMES a DAY and 200 times A WEKK. after a week, i brought back to SE service centre. they said that I should upgrade it to R3AA035......

Nov 10, 2010i cant wait to get my Xperia upgraded to 2.1! i have one issue though. i only have access to a work PC with XP but no admin account (big corp, so no chance of getting it temporarily) or my housemates Mac. my girlfriend has a laptop but she wont be home until next weekend are there any non-windows/non-admin methods of upgrading?

Nov 23, 2010Hotmail was setup on the phone and working fine. All of a sudden it keeps saying the username and password is incorrect when trying to verify settings. The username and password is correct. Cannot get to Hotmail using phone browser either, I just get a white screen.
I deleted the mail account and re-creatd it but it made no difference. I backed-up the phone contents, ran a repair, and restored the contents again and still no difference. Is it a known X8 issue or has something changed on the hotmail service?

However, when I open an email from the phone, it would still show as "unread" when I open my Hotmail account from a laptop / computer. Is there a way this can be changed, so that when an email is opened/read on the phone, it would also show as open/read when I open my Hotmail account from a laptop?

Nov 19, 2010Just upgraded from 1.6 to 2.1 on my X10 and now cant get Hotmail to connect up. 02 UK Contract account. I have a BT Yahoo account working fine on it, but Hotmail refuses to work. O2 have sent me the settings and I have put them in manually too, still nothing works. The phone just sits for hours with the message "checking incoming server settings".

Tried tech support, but they were of no help. Said I needed to use gmail instead. Can't change everything over at this late date. Have archived stuff in hotmail going back years. Did I load hotmail to the X10 incorrectly? Is there a way around this? They may get the phone back.

Each time I try, eventuly I get an error stating that the device could not connect to the server and to check my connection settings. I have an unlimited plan so I know I have not exceeded my limit, plus I can browse the internet and use programs that require a connection fine. Does anyone know why this is happening? Or had the same problem and has found a resolve? I am currently on Windows Mobile 6.1.

May 24, 2010Have tried to download the uninstaller application but after trying it twice for 4 hours each I have given up.Does anyone have any ideas why downloading this app takes so long - it is also the same for the Xpedia flashlight app which I have tried separately. In fact any application seems to take an eternity.
They apps say they are downloading but they are not very large apps so should be there is a flash but after 4 hours I am still waiting.Have tried the switch off/on but still it takes ages - I have full signal (not 3G though) and it doesn't download.
