I cannot access the hotmail website through my browser, does anyone know why this is? it goes to the login page, but this is just blank, so I cannot sign in?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have had my x10 fro 3 days. Love most everything except that most of my hotmail access is limited. What happened? No folders or contacts available. Tried tech support, but they were of no help. Said I needed to use gmail instead. Can't change everything over at this late date. Have archived stuff in hotmail going back years. Did I load hotmail to the X10 incorrectly? Is there a way around this? They may get the phone back.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm having a problem with the internet. Recently I updated new software on my phone Xperia X10 mini, (2.1) and since then I can't access the Internet trough Web! I could access it on 1.6 software (there would be those 2 arrows one on up on on down) and now I can't get that connection again. And one more question, how come that I'm not visible on Bluetooth at all and I can't send any data over bluetooth, or at least receive.

I have internet connection home on my computer. I thought connecting my X10 mini pro to my computer through USB would be enough to have free internet and download from Android Market among other things. However, it doesn't work like that. I tried to activate "Airplane mode" so as to cut off al wireless connections and use USB "forcing" my X10 mini pro to look for th internet that way but it does not have internet access through USB connection with my computer (Internet works great on my computer).
I did not manage to access directly Google calendar from my phone. I had to go through the browser to see. Isn't there an app for that?

View 1 Replies View RelatedGot a brand new phone yesterday. Upgraded it to Android 2.1 before using it. In general, phone is functioning properly, however none of the applications (i.e. YouTube, Gmail, Maps) will work over the 3G connection, but the Web Browser does function ok. The apps will work over WiFi (which isn't much use if you're trying to use maps or gmail on the go). I have tried restarting phone (battery out restart). It is not a signal strength issue, I am getting HSPA with full bars and it still times out with "no connection detected" (or variations thereof, depending on the actual application). I can work around this using the web browser based clients for these apps, but as they aren't streamlined they are a PITA to use.

But...
After the phone has been off, the camera works fine the first time I start it.
And if I close the camera application and start it again straight away it also works fine.
But if I wait for maybe half an hour or more and then open the camera application, the phone reboots itself.
This is very repeatable and it looks like there's something wrong in the software or so.

It has a problem that every few days or so the screen locks up and becomes unresponsive and the only way to reset it is to do a battery pull. My question basically is should I take it back to the shop, or is it likely to need to have android reinstalled or something?
It did this on the very first startup after unboxing, it froze up when choosing the language setting, so obviously it is unrelated to any other apps i have installed. At the time I didnt think it was too much of a problem but then as I say, it started doing it every few days.

View 5 Replies View RelatedHotmail was setup on the phone and working fine. All of a sudden it keeps saying the username and password is incorrect when trying to verify settings. The username and password is correct. Cannot get to Hotmail using phone browser either, I just get a white screen.
I deleted the mail account and re-creatd it but it made no difference. I backed-up the phone contents, ran a repair, and restored the contents again and still no difference. Is it a known X8 issue or has something changed on the hotmail service?
Can someone please provide detailed instructions on how to set up my hotmail account on this phone.

However, when I open an email from the phone, it would still show as "unread" when I open my Hotmail account from a laptop / computer. Is there a way this can be changed, so that when an email is opened/read on the phone, it would also show as open/read when I open my Hotmail account from a laptop?

I have a BT Yahoo account working fine on it, but Hotmail refuses to work. O2 have sent me the settings and I have put them in manually too, still nothing works. The phone just sits for hours with the message "checking incoming server settings".
