My volume buttons seem loose. Is that normal you think? Perhaps its a petty thing to think about, but play (I can hear them rattle a bit if I shake the phone gently) in my experience leads to quick wear.

Mine feels a little loose, and it make a rattle sound, am i the only one with this? its like the plastic isnt tight or something, but when you press it its nice and firm to "click" up or down.
also the bottom of the screen/whole left side where the KB is kind of dips down about a hundreth or tenth of an inch wen you press something on the screen on that side, im guessing thats normal for a slider.
I've been using this phone for a days now and I'm a bit annoyed that the volume buttons seems loose already especially the down button.

View 5 Replies View RelatedAnyone else have a loose volume rocker, it actually moves around a bit without me even touching it. It doesn't change the volume settings or anything(unless i press the button) but it does make a sound when I move the phone around. It's kind of annoying.
View 33 Replies View RelatedI noticed that when turning down the volume of the ringer with the volume rocker it doesn't automatically turn down the notification volume as well. Is there a way to set the volume rocker to adjust both notification and ringer volume to the same level? You can test this by going under Settings/Sound and Display/Ringer Volume...and try adjusting the volume with the rocker and it only adjust the Ringer Volume.

Anyways when I put my phone down it makes a slight rattle, after inspecting closer I noticed that when I tap around the camera area it also makes a slight rattle. I have looked around and found that people are having the same problem with the Nexus one and Hero and apparently its the auto focus.

View 18 Replies View RelatedIs anyone else annoyed by the fact that the volume and power buttons are positioned at the same level on opposite sides of the phone? When I try to hit the power button I usually hit the volume button as well because of the positioning so my ringer goes from vibrate to on or changes volume. The power button really should have been up top.

View 6 Replies View RelatedComing from the iphone, those bottom buttons on the Vibrant are so difficult.First, it often takes some hunting to get them to respond, especially the far left one, which take several attempts quite often.Because they're not tactical in the dark, it's highly problematic that they LEDs time-out after a measly 3 seconds! What's the point of the LEDs if they're going to shine for that short of time?I'd have to say this is the most frustrating part of this phone. Hopefully, these woes can be cured with a software update?

But my power button is very loose/wiggly, and the screen tends to wiggle a bit when the keyboard is hidden. That and some of the buttons on the screen seem to be only partially lit by LEDs.

I've noticed that the songs which were pre-loaded on the phone are louder than the ones I've uploaded from itunes. If it isn't a techno/hiphop song (and I listen to classical mostly) I can hardly hear the tracks when I'm walking around town, even with noise-cancelling headphones. I never had this problem with the iPhone, so this is a little frustrating.
Sorry if this has been posted before, I'm new to this site, but does anybody else think the volume on the inc is just too low? I keep the volume all the way up, but when I'm in my car or just outside with other surrounding noises, I just cant really hear it. It's useless to even put the ringer volume halfway or less, you could barley hear it at all. Is it just me or does anybody else have this problem?

Literally, I have to ask the person on the other side to repeat her or himself 2-3 times before I'm actually able to hear her/him. So, long story short: the volume is abnormally low. What I've tried: volume control apps. They're all set at maximum volume. Hard-reset.

View 4 Replies View RelatedOk so me and my girlfriend both got evo's and the first couple times i used qik it worked fine. but now for some reason if she calls me (via qik video chat) i cant hear any sound from her but she hears me fine. but if i call her she doesn't get sound and i hear her fine!?! wtf? also while on the video chat one phone will have the microphone icon being displayed on bottom corner and other phone wont. is there something i can do to fix? is it an issue with phone or the qik app itself? just in case, it IS the version that is for the EVO on both phones
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I play one of the stock ringtones (which, by the way, suck) or stream radio stations, music plays fine. However, I would like to be able to download music to my phone either from my computer or from an app, but every time I try either of those, I hear a popping/dripping noise in the background. It happens both when I preview the song/sound and when I download it, and it doesn't matter where I download them from. I've tried websites, my computer, apps, etc. So frustrating!
It sounds like it may be a problem with the speakers, like maybe they are having trouble playing certain file types or something, but I haven't the slightes idea why this is. That's just a hunch, though. I know nothing about how phones work. Anyone know what might be going on? By the way, I don't know if this affects anything, but my phone is rooted now. The popping/dripping began way before I rooted it, though. Just throwing that out there.
