Samsung Vibrant : Vibrant - Voice Call Breaking Up / Way To Fix
Sep 17, 2010Anyone has experienced this problem on the Vibrant? The call keeps breaking up and I have this issue both calling and receiving. Not using the earphones but when I am holding and talking,, the call seems to break up and I've had people complain on the other side as well.
Not sure why this is happening. I had a Ultra Silke case put on it. Is that blocking anything? Or is this an inherent problem others have experienced?

Nov 4, 2010Just bought a vibrant off of the internet, I have TMobile...I put my sim in...started the phone..no problems...but every 10 seconds or so I see a popup at the bottom that sais "Sending..." It won't stop...I also had it connect to our WiFi and...just keeps popping up with Sending...

Apr 12, 2010I have downloaded HandcentSMS. Great sms prog. I use my swipe keyboard to send mostly. Today I recieved a SMS from my wife and i had an option to use voice to send my reply. I don't get that option when I start HandcentSMS nor do I when I use the stock messaging app. Anyone know what app my phone might be using that has the voice option?

Sep 7, 2010I've got my work email set up on the default mail app. It's an exchange email. It will work just fine for a few days but after a while I will get either a force close or a "connection error" message. the first time this happened. I removed the account and started it from scratch. Same thing happened. It worked for a while and then these errors.So I guess my question is, does anyone know how to fix this? Or, does anyone know a good (free) mail app that will work with MS exchange?

Oct 3, 2010I just got a Bell Vibrant and unlocked it to use on AT&T. Everything's been working fine, but I do have a minor problem.
When I am in SMS messaging, most of my conversations have contact names on them, but on a few, it shows only the number. The number is clearly the number listed on the contact in my contact list, but the messaging app(stock) doesnt seem to recognize it. This is weird, because in the LauncherPro Messaging widget, it shows the names correctly, but when I go into the SMS messaging app, it doesnt recognize the contact.

If you'd like to have your voice mail log in automatically (instead of having to type your password in) go to settings>call settings>Voicemail>
enter *86,1234#
1234 = whatever your pin is.
the "," is a 2 second pause. you may have to play with this and add another "," if it enters the pin too quickly after you call.

Aug 21, 2010I have all of my contacts saved to the phone, deleted all contacts saved on SIM. I now saved everything to google contacts, and even after saving some in various groups, I cannot get the groups to sync over to the vibrant. All of the contacts synced perfectly, but not the groups. I even tried making new groups using different names than the generic google group names. If I display contacts from both the phones memory and google contacts, then it will show me the groups I've selected.

Dec 13, 2009OK I've been with Sprint for.. well since I first got a cell phone. I got the Moment recently, and have ONE major (for me) issue with it. I loved the feature in Sprint's V-mail, that allowed me to connect directly to another Sprint users V-mail. It was a great time saver, allowed me to just leave the message & get on w/ my day (ok I admit it, it was mainly used to avoid talking to my mother when I knew she was in a bad mood)Since I got the Moment, even when I call my v-mail directly, said option is no longer there. Borrowed my g'friends phone for a minute, and the options is still there for her. I checked Sprint's forums, and couldn't find anything about them changing the v-mail with the Moment.

Jan 23, 2010I changed the voice mail number from *86 (version default) to my Google voice number. This works when I am not answering the phone and I the caller gets connected to my GV account. But when my phone is not in coverage the caller gets my version voice mail. Appreciate if someone can correct my settings or suggest any app that does it. I am from Windows mobile world and missing those settings when you can define several settings for voice mail (unanswered, rejected, unavailable etc...)

Android :: Sending Mail With K9
Oct 3, 2010I have an HTC Magic running the stock Roger's 2.1 rom, using K9 mail with MobileMe. I find if I compose an email from scratch, no problems. But if I reply to a message it won't send... it just sits in the Outbox. If I manually force it to send from the Outbox it will usually go... but not always. Has anyone come across anything like this before? Seems pretty weird that a 'fresh' email will send, but not a reply (the only different seemingly being that K9 is filling in the To field itself). I guess in the meantime I could give another email app such as MailDroid a spin, but I'm rather fond of K9.
