Stuck downloading icons in notification bar. Have power cycled and even removed phone battery icons still show up. Dont want to do a reset. Any other suggestions for being rid of this? Just driving me crazy!

View 6 Replies View RelatedWell i tried out a rom (backed up first) didnt like it. so i restored my backup and now my phone is stuck on the vibrant logo. the tmobile ding plays but nothing. and for some reason my phone wont go into download mode and ADB wont work on my pc. it comes up and disappears rapidly. it open in cmd prompt but nothing.

It's notification in the notification bar is still there which does not go even after rebooting. Notification when pulled down does like this...

Every time i start up my phone it stays on the VIBRANT SAMSUNG logo but i can still go into recovery and download mode but i dont know what i can do to fix this and every time i connect my phone to the computer it says to download a driver and i do that but then it wont download. IS it bricked..or idk but can someone help me..(im running on 2e recovery mode)

View 1 Replies View RelatedWe tried to root it and apply the lag fix via "OneClickLagFix" app (from the Market), and the phone was very fast for about a week, then slowed down SIGNIFICANTLY. Tonight, it just froze and will not boot past the Galaxy S screen. The screen will then go black and the four buttons at the bottom stay lit. We have gone into recovery and wiped the cache but no luck. Have not yet tried to wipe user data.
Transfer all data from internal storage to a separate drive, then wipe phone? If so, will I have to "flash" a stock/custom ROM to get the phone back up?
Tried updating to 2.2..... now stuck in recovery mode. There is no way to select any options because i do not have an OK KEY...
View 4 Replies View RelatedI downloaded a kernal on ryans lag fix and then it made my phone get stuck on the VIBRANT SAMSUNG screen so i tried to fix it by using odin, but all it did was make it go to the Galaxy s sign now, any suggestions on how i can fix this? (and also, after the galaxy s sign shows up for about ten seconds or something like that it goes all black and all that stays lit are the home button, the back button, the search button, and the settings button)PLEASE REPLY, i need serious help.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy phone was rooted with the 2.2 firmware everything was working fine and yesterday by itself the phone shut off when i tried to boot it, stays in the samsung galaxy boot screen. I tried going into download by holding vol+home+power but it says POWER RESET or UNKNOWN UPLOAD MODE. The phone is able to connect with my pc I tried flashing 2.2 Froyo with odin3 but its stuck at File analysis. Is there any way to fix this? I cant return the phone I bought it unlocked off ebay.

I've got a back up saved on my home computer. This morning I got notification of an OTA update from T-Mobile. I did the update and now the phone is stuck on the Samsung Vibrant screen. What do I do? View 18 Replies View RelatedI started a firmware update (using Odin) and, when downloading the amss, samsung says "Bad block table read fail". a lot of times and the progress bar (on Odin) stay locked. And the update cant finish. So, I restart the mobile... but it always come with the "Downloading..." screen. I've tried the recovery mode [vol down] + [start call] + [end call] buttons, but it always go to "Downloading..." screen. I can't exit from the download mode, and the phone doesn't start any more. I've removed the battery, but the same... the "diskette logo" come with "Downloading..." all the times.
So, two questions:
1) About the "bad block" message, I think it's because I left "turned on" the USB debugging. so, I want to start the phone to turn it off again. This make sense?
2) How to get rid of this screen? How to stop the download mode?
I have a Galaxy S running stock ROM. No lag fix no custom ROM no root nothing. Just now I tried going into recovery/download mode to see what features it have by pressing the volume down+home+Power button. Now the phone says "Downloading Do not turn of target! What can I do to solve this problem. Till now I haven't tried to restart the phone? Should I do that?

But I'd like to know what people are using and if its working good, the one thing I don't like about this phone is that, I know I can just use the side button to light it up to see, but I miss by led light off the Cliq.
I'm looking to get a vibrant soon but I was wondering if the phone tells you if your text didn't send or not.
If any of you came from a BB9700, the text message would have a "D" next to it if it was delivered or a red X if it wasn't delivered.
Recently my phone will randomly start sending and receiving data constantly, even though no apps are open or being used. This causes my phone to get very warm and the battery to lose about 1% per minute. In order to get it to stop I have to reboot. I can't figure out what is causing this issue. Has anyone else had a similar problem?
