Samsung Moment : Cant Receive Any Incoming Calls
Aug 10, 2010I can make calls. I can text and receive texts. Surf the internet fine.. I just cant receive any incoming calls. When people call me they get the generic " the sprint customer you are trying to reach is unavailable". I have done a search of the forums to no avail.

Mar 3, 2010If I put my phone in silent mode (so it just vibrates) I do not notice it vibrating for my instant message which is set to Yahoo IM. I notice it vibrating for calls, and text messages, and even emails, but not for yahoo IM. I have instant message set to go in the notification bar so it should, but i never notice it happening. Anyone have any ideas or do they know if it works on their phone?

Jan 21, 2010incoming text messages are all showing up sent 5-10 minutes BEFORE the time it was actually sent so it totally ruins convos on my moment.. Ive tried setting the time and using 'automatic' network time.. Someone please tell me how to fix this its driving me insane as I always have to scroll back up and it ruins conversation continuity.

Samsung Moment :: Not Able To Set Up My Yahoo Email Account
Nov 4, 2009Just returned my hero for a moment but am not able to set up my yahoo email account. Anyone else have this issue? I keep getting a message that username or password is incorrect.I had no problem setting up my google email (duh!) or google voice but not yahoo email even tried to do it manually through the pop3 Any suggestions.will be at a conference the next 2 days and really need to access my email during it

Nov 26, 2009When I first got my Moment, I couldn't get my Yahoo email to work under the "email" app.
I tried the following settings and it miraculously worked! I've been getting my Yahoo email on my Moment flawlessly for the past month: Go to manual setup > IMAP account and change to these settings....
INCOMING

port - 143
security type - TLS (if available)
OUTGOING
SMTP Server- smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com
port - 25
security type - TLS (if available)
* check Require sign-in
However, my Yahoo email just stopped working on my Moment yesterday (it won't load new emails into my inbox on my phone)! It keeps telling me "username or password incorrect".. WTH!
Is anyone else having this issue recently? Could this be a new change that Yahoo made?
Does anyone else have any ideas of what the next step could be to resolve this? I'll bet my turkey that if I called Sprint Tech Support they would refer me to Yahoo, and if I called Yahoo, they'd refer me to Sprint!
Also, if you are using the same settings that I've been using and it is still working okay for you, please be so kind as to advise- so I know that that setting above is still working, and it is more likely just an issue with my Sprint Account.

Feb 28, 2010How can I find my email contacts easily using yahoo plus e mail with the moment instead of having to search thru alphabetically page by page is there a way of just typing a few letters in the name it will recognize or ? This is very annoying especially if you have to go all the way thru the list.

I was able to establish a link with my Yahoo mail account, but is reliabilty and performance is poor at best (I had much better performance accessing Yahoo mail on my old Samsung Instinct). Most the time when I try to check my Inbox, I get a "Username or password incorrect" notice. (Believe me, they are not incorrect). If I press "Menu" and then the "Refresh" button, I then get a "Connection error" notice! If anyone has any fix or any info for resolving this issue, then please post it here. I can access my Yahoo e-mail okay through the browser, but this is really not the way I prefer to do this.

I have tried numerous tips and tricks that i have read on this forum to hopefully increase my battery life. My post today is about how to forward a text message using the moment. I upgraded from an Samsung Instict and had no problem forwarding messages using the phone; however, I do not get the option to forward when i hit the menu key when looking at a text.

May 28, 2010My wife's phone can't get calls - it can get texts and data fine. At first, calls would go straight to voicemail, and now there is a message stating "The number or code you have dialed is incorrect". Nobody who has tried calling is marked "straight to voicemail", and I had a friend who is not on her contact list call her and he go the same thing. I rooted and removed some bloatware over a week ago, and had no problems. She had adialer installed, and removing that did nothing. I can make calls from her phone, although earlier she said she tried calling me (I was holding the phone because I just texted her to do it) and she said I went straight to voicemail. Sitting here, I called my phone and several other numbers with her phone with no problems.

Oct 14, 2010On my Samsung Moment, a lot of times when someone is calling me, the phone will start vibrating or ringing as it should but the screen does not turn on showing the caller id until 4 or 5 rings, if at all. It makes answering calls before it goes to voicemail difficult.

May 14, 2010For anyone getting "server problem" when attempting a voice search with 2.1, it appears to be a issue with random existing gmail accounts. This feature never worked for me with the 2.1 beta. When I flashed the release, I tried every one of my 6 existing gmail accounts with no love, then I created a new account on the phone and wahlaa voice search works. Now all I have to do is export my contacts and calender to the new account and contact beyondpods author to get a new key.

HTC EVO 4G :: Can't Receive Email On Yahoo
Sep 20, 2010Ive had my Evo for a couple of months now and everything worked fine. About 3 weeks ago, i stopped recieving email on my yahoo account. I can still send them from my phone, but not get any new ones. Gmail still works fine. I went to sprint and they played with all my settings, and did a hard reboot on my phone, still no fix.
