Ive seen other Android phones with this capability, including the G1 that also has 1.5. Does anyone no if its available for the moment? Ive tried an .apk for a similar phone with 1.5 but it said i didnt have the appropriate kernal? Oh and yes i am updated with the latest rom from SDX

I wanted to go about getting wireless tethering on my samsung moment which rom would you recommend for someone who just wants to install it through joey's recovery?

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo i had a hard decision to make when buying a new phone. It was between the HTC Hero and the Samsung Moment. After about 2 weeks I finally made the jump. A lot of the apps are on the I phone and I touch which is pretty cool. But can anyone tell me if it is possible to maybe change the phone kinda like jail breaking? Is there anyway of making the Moment a wireless tether for internee?

View 18 Replies View Relatedanyone else having this problem? using 2.1 under caulkin's kernel. it seems like I can kind of overload the phone doing too much and the mobile network connection on my phone will disappear completely. this is while downloading something that may download too fast, sometimes it happens loading .GIF images too. I'll have to restart the phone to get the internet back. this happens no matter if I'm using wireless, USB or bluetooth tethering.

I don't understand what is going on or what m doing wrong. Have tried to have my PC, blackberry,ps3 and psp try to find the hotspot but none of them could, not with manual entry of the SSID either. Is there anything m supposed to be changing in other settings of the phone?

View 2 Replies View Relatedmy htc evo is rooted, i have titanium backup and you need root for that application to work so my phone is rooted. i downloaded the wireless tethering app. succesfully but when i turn on tethering it the down speed stays at 0.4kB, 0.0kbps and the up speed stays at 0.1kB, 0.0kbps. it also used to pop up as a wireless connection but it wouldnt connect. now i just re-downloaded the app and it does the same exact thing but the wireless network doesnt show up.
