View 2 RepliesCan I do any damage by just pulling the battery while the phone is on? With the number of times I have to change the battery to keep the phone going, its just easier than going through the effort to power down.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I am trying to see if there is anyway to set the phone to do different things at different percentages. B/c once my moment it 5% it dims and keyboard no longer lights up. But I know it really isn't that low do to the well battery reading issue.
View 2 Replies View RelatedDoes setcpu speed up the Moment at all or is its only real use for downclocking to save battery?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI just sold my GW620 (LG Intouchmax) and have a little bit extra money to spare, and I was wondering, what's the best Android phone you can get for around 80 - 110 pounds?
I'm looking at the Galaxy Portal, I've already had the Dream G1 and HTC Hero G2.
I've also looked at the T-Mobile pulse.
How to import DHD to India in a cheapest way?
ebay India the price is 42k = 925$
ebay USA the price is 750$ + shipping + customs!
is there any other way to buy...
I'm brand new to the Android world and, in fact, don't even have a phone yet. However, I'll be picking up the LG Optimus S w/Sprint in the next day or so. All my information (email, calendar, contacts, notes, etc) are all managed in Outlook (stand alone, not Exchange). I've been told that there's no way to sync directly from Outlook to an Android phone so I'm looking for the cheapest way to accomplish that and have good results.
My emails come through Gmail so that part is already done. I use Google's Calendar Sync program so my calendar is already in my Gmail account so that is also done. The contacts and notes are only in Outlook so that's where my main question lies..........
Im desperate here. My son discovered Angry Birds on my Droid X and is now as addicted as my wife and I and wont stop asking me for my phone LOL!! I charged my battery for 16 hours and it died within 30min. and not just the low battery warning the phone shut off. Ive tried the car charger pluggin it into my computer and the wall charger and the longest it has lasted is 1 hour. havnt really downloaded anything other than a task killer to see if that helped. Bad battery?
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhat are those 3 little soft-touch squares on the back of the phone that say G, R1, and R2?

View 14 Replies View RelatedIs there any way to get around how on the phone when you go to camera when the battery is red. That you can still use the camera and takes photos. This is a real pain considering the phone is almost always showing red battery and I can never take photos. How can I get around this.
View 8 Replies View RelatedSo far, I'm loving this phone, despite the glitches that it suffers from.
In an attempt to get the battery conditioned, I ran the phone all the way down yesterday, powered it off, and charged it overnight.
One thing I noticed is that when the phone got down under 15%, there were a handful of times that the interface would freeze briefly for a few seconds, and then the phone would reboot itself.
Eventually, I ran it down the the point where, after it rebooted, it would tell me that the battery was too low and that it was shutting off.
I would expect that if the phone were shutting down because of a low battery, it would prompt me somehow to let me know, instead of just rebooting.
Has anyone else noticed this same behavior? I've only had the phone for a few days, but so far, it's only done the reboot thing when the battery was under 15%.
OK...so I charged my Moment via the wall charger all night. Well, when I awoke this morning, it read that the charge was full of course, but as soon as I took it off it went down to 80%. I put it back on the charger and it went to 90%. I'm not sure what is going on here. Has anyone else had problems like this or know of a fix?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI want to drain my battery to the very end and then recharge it so I was wondering what to do to really waste the battery really fast. I have the display on the brightest setting, bluetooth and WiFi on. What apps really drain the battery? I tried Sprint TV but it kicked me off the WiFi
View 17 Replies View Relatedi look in spare parts and i go under battery history and click on network usage and i see that the weather channel is taking up alot of battery. I dont have the weather channel widgit or just the icon on any of my home pages and i dont have any location for it. Why is it still taking up so much battery? Also is there a way to change the update time with it?
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhy is my battery dying so fast it drops from 50 to 40 to 30 in a second! How do I fix this?! I love my moment btw!
View 14 Replies View RelatedI found a way to find the actual battery charge while messing around on the phone. I turned off the phone and then pressed the "send + center + end" combination to get into the diagnostics console. From there you can scroll down to the battery info and in there you can see how much charge is really left. For some reason the OS can't read from this and reports incorrect battery life.
View 28 Replies View RelatedIn the past week or so, I've noticed my battery life drastically decrease. I could easily go a day and a half with moderate use (some web surfing, all my apps and widgets going, etc.). Last week, my battery was gone one day in about 7.5 hours. I thought it was from installing Screebl Lite. I disabled Screebl, same problem. So I uninstalled Screebl, same problem. I have Spare Parts installed, but it's not the most intuitive thing in the world. I try looking at the battery usage stats, but it says "Android System" is the biggest battery user. And I don't know what is good, what is bad, what is normal.
Example: Today, I had my phone at 100% charge. Took it off the charger around 10 AM. Around 11:00, I paired up the new Bluetooth headset I got for Christmas. I made a call. Listened to a couple of songs. Watched a couple of minutes of video. I browsed the Market for a few, disabled bluetooth and went about my day. By about 6:00, I was at 5%.
I would like to upgrade the SD card in my moment. However, I am not sure how to access the SD card. The back cover feele like it is going to break when I try to slide it down.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI wonder if Samsung Moment use the same battery as BH2.I was looking at eBay and found Moment Battery and charger around $10, and thought it would be nice to have an extra battery.Does anybody know if they are compatible?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I just got my Moment last night, and I cannot figure out how to remove the SD card. EVERYTHING I have found says it's under the battery (wtf), but I can't get the battery cover off to get to it, and I can't find any instructions on how to remove the battery cover.
View 11 Replies View RelatedWhat's working for me is to recharge the phone with the computer cable. I was able to get a full day plus by doing this. For some unknown reason samsung didn't make is simple using the regular power cable.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Moment, and the battery life is horrible. I always have problems with my battery running out before the day is over. That being said, my friend and I are in an engineering class and are working on a solution to the battery life issue. We have a survey we created and we really need some more results on it. We'd really appreciate it if some people would take it. Here is the link: Small Electronics and Battery Life Survey.
View 6 Replies View RelatedBig selling feature for the Moment over the iPhone is swapable batteries. I'd like to keep the phone with me at all times, and just swap in batteries. But I can not find an EXTERNAL battery charger. Google search only turned up a "universal" charger where the contacts are manipulated to match up with the battery. Not a good option. Anyone have a source for an external battery charger which I can use to charge spare batteries without using the phone?
View 49 Replies View RelatedHas anyone else noticed a decrease in battery life since doing the upgrade? My battery dies in the middle of the day everyday now and i barely use it during the day when I am at work?
View 32 Replies View RelatedWill there be an extended battery for the Moment? I know that the Sprint hero can get a 1750mh or 1800 extended battery. Has anyone heard of seido or mugen making one for the moment?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWill the 2.1 update improve battery life?
View 6 Replies View RelatedThis is an issue that Sprint/Samsung are currently working on. That is all I know. Sorry if this has already been posted and you are aware of the current situation. Battery life should be adequate for the phone/use ratio regardless.
