View 15 RepliesSo I just got my Moment last night, and I cannot figure out how to remove the SD card. EVERYTHING I have found says it's under the battery (wtf), but I can't get the battery cover off to get to it, and I can't find any instructions on how to remove the battery cover.
View 11 Replies View RelatedEven when you remove the little back rubber/plastic cover for the USB connection plug, it still stays attached to the phone and dangles. I am thinking of completely removing it from the phone. Can I do so without damaging it? Can I re-attach it if I change my mind later?
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I wasn't there when my brother picked up my phone... How do you remove the battery cover? The phone says the SD card is not install so I wanna make sure its in there. I ran a search in google and theres guide. I dont wanna scatch up my new phone trying to figure it out where it's suppose to come out at.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy battery cover wont close properly. The side with the camera will close, but the other side will stick out leaving a gap between the phone and the cover. Tried many ways to make it work and finally got annoyed and used tape to hold it.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAny idea where I can buy a replacement housing for my Galaxy. Works fine but an accident had left it scratched up and missing the charger port cover. So basically I want to fit a whole new shell on the thing. Screen is scratch-free, but battery cover scratched up and the bit of plastic holding the charger flap snapped so it will need a whole shell. Looked everywhere! An online Samsung repair place wants me to send it in but can't give me a price.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe left lower side of my battery cover doesn't fully snap into place, causing an annoying gap. It was never like this, but I took the cover off to remove the battery, and when I tried to put it back in, it wouldn't snap. I tried a different cover and it still didn't fit... I have no idea why it wont snap in all of a sudden. Anyone else have this? I'm on my fourth epic, If I have to go to #5 I might just say forget it and save my upgrade

View 3 Replies View RelatedBiggest without an extended cover please.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI've only opened it once while on the phone with sprint activating it. It felt really hard to take off and put back on. Is there any tip on best way to remove and replace the cover without feeling like it's going to break?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI lost my battery cover (or someone stole it) from my birthday party. I cannot seem to find one online. I called HTC and they dont have one available, but maybe I got the wrong rep? I called ATT and they were no help. There is an HD Mini (somewhat of the same phone) battery cover on eBay but it doesnt have the metal connections since the battery cover of an Aria is part of the antenna. Please help me find one! Even if I have to buy an extended battery (with battery cover) so be it. I just need my phone back.
View 8 Replies View RelatedWouldn't it be sweet if some manufacturer came out with a transparent battery cover? I think the back looks so cool.
View 22 Replies View RelatedThe battery cover is terrible. The rest is outstanding though. 1 feature I didnt know it was gonna have is the FM radio which works excellent.
View 3 Replies View RelatedFinally got my replacement EVO yesterday was all excited until I just noticed the battery door cover does not fit tight! There is a gap along the whole right side. big enough for dirt and dust to get into the phone. The build date is 7/05/10. Also, the camera lens is not centered in the cover hole. There no red showing on the bottom of the hole and a big red gap on the top of the hole. I cannot believe HTC lets phones like this out the door! Where is the QA/QC?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a HTC desire and have droped it does anyone know where I can get a replacement battery cover from.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI am trying but I just don't want to break it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone have a problem with how the battery cover fits? If I squeeze the phone on the opposite side of the volume button towards the bottom of the phone, the case squeeks and flexs inwards. Being the OCD person that I am, I am constantly sqeeking the case and I am pretty sure that I am going to break it soon. I want to take the phone in and have it replaced but would like to just have the cover replaced rather than the whole phone.
View 18 Replies View RelatedIs it just my Desire or does the battery cover click and pop once you taken it off like it never quite fits tight?
View 6 Replies View Relatedif you look under your battery door, there is like abit that sticks out, and i accidently peeled a bit away, and it reveals a copper...sheet ...type thing...is it some sort of signal booster? what is it doing on the battery door? you can see the little shiny thing in the middle left area?
View 11 Replies View RelatedI took off the battery cover today when my phone wouldn't turn off. It was in shutdown mode for about 25 minutes, so I just pulled the battery. This is the first time I've taken the cover off. I've spent over 45 minutes trying to get the cover back on correctly. What a piece of trash! All the connectors are still there, but when I put the cover on, it not longer has a "smooth" feel, but its clunky since the top left side (near the volume key), as well as the top right side straight across. No matter what I do, those parts of the cover will NOT stay down. I've tried connecting the cover every different way, as well as pressing down on each connector after its on to see if I can find a lose spot. No luck. 45 damn minutes and I'm about to throw it across the room. Seriously, I love this phone but if something this stupid is going to happen, I may as well switch phones because this is the most frustrated I've ever been with a cell phone.
View 38 Replies View RelatedIve had my Moment for 4 days now. I went through all the posts and nothing seems to help. I charged my battery for 16 hours and it died within 30min. and not just the low battery warning the phone shut off. Ive tried the car charger pluggin it into my computer and the wall charger and the longest it has lasted is 1 hour. havnt really downloaded anything other than a task killer to see if that helped. Bad battery?
View 5 Replies View Relatedok so i searched and couldn't find anything .is there an extended battery for the moment?i installed task killer and a battery app and the batter last only a little over 6 hrs thats pathetic! was wondering if anyone has found an extended battery yet.
View 14 Replies View RelatedIs there any way to get around how on the phone when you go to camera when the battery is red. That you can still use the camera and takes photos. This is a real pain considering the phone is almost always showing red battery and I can never take photos. How can I get around this.
View 8 Replies View RelatedSo far, I'm loving this phone, despite the glitches that it suffers from.
In an attempt to get the battery conditioned, I ran the phone all the way down yesterday, powered it off, and charged it overnight.
One thing I noticed is that when the phone got down under 15%, there were a handful of times that the interface would freeze briefly for a few seconds, and then the phone would reboot itself.
Eventually, I ran it down the the point where, after it rebooted, it would tell me that the battery was too low and that it was shutting off.
I would expect that if the phone were shutting down because of a low battery, it would prompt me somehow to let me know, instead of just rebooting.
Has anyone else noticed this same behavior? I've only had the phone for a few days, but so far, it's only done the reboot thing when the battery was under 15%.
OK...so I charged my Moment via the wall charger all night. Well, when I awoke this morning, it read that the charge was full of course, but as soon as I took it off it went down to 80%. I put it back on the charger and it went to 90%. I'm not sure what is going on here. Has anyone else had problems like this or know of a fix?
View 10 Replies View RelatedIs it just me, or does anyone else's battery cover come off way too easily? I'll accidentally slide it off when pulling my phone out of my pocket all the time... and sometimes it gets pulled off in my pocket so I take the phone out and the cover falls on the ground I really don't want to put a case on my phone just to hold the damn battery cover on.
View 47 Replies View RelatedSorry to bother you guys, but I purchased a Motorola Droid about a month ago and since then the battery cover has fell off about 5 times. The last time it fell off while I was walking and talking in the street and I couldn't find it to put it back together. So now i have a droid without the battery cover. Is anyone else experiencing this problem as well? If yes, does anyone know a solution?
View 3 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone ever have trouble taking the back battery cover off? I just got my phone on Monday, and ever since I put the cover on I've wanted to take the cover off to see if I can find where the SD card is (which if anyone could point that out for me that would be great). However, when I get where only the part where it has the slit open, I feel like I would break the rest if I keep pulling that is how good it is on my phone.

View 27 Replies View RelatedAt complete fault of my own in a move I should have known better than to do, my phone decided to hang out for a few minutes on the bottom of my oven, face up, while it was on at 375F. The phone is actually surprisingly great - everything still works, makes calls, cam and rear speaker seem unaffected - but the back battery cover is messed up now. Because I'm optimistic and dumb, I went to Sprint to see if I could get a replacement door from them. No go. Then I checked HTC's website, and they don't seem to sell anything for this phone at all (exaggeration). Ultimately I plan to wrap my Hero in one of those jelly cases, but I already own one and I'm away on vacation and refuse to by another. Still, despite being wrapped up incognito, I'll be secretly bothered by my less-than-perfect phone, so I really want to order another one.
