I am so use to my Touch Pro 1 & 2 as far as saving everything to my SD card. Why am I not able to save applications and other documents to my sd card on android? My phone is extremely slow now, force closes often and the battery dies every 15 min. Is there any way to save apps to the sd card?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI finally got my fone fixed and i deleted diner dash2 and telenav and amazonmp3 immediatly after i rooted the behold 2 , but now i would like to know how to run apps from my sd card ? i figured out how to get them there but. Now what? i cant install terminal emulator either. i want to do it this way so i do not use up the space on the fone.For some reason i think it will start going slow again if i dont. any advice on what your setups are? what have you safely removed? is it ok to remove MyFavs? how about the cube? is there anything todo to speed it up a lil? or make it so it doesnt slow down at all?

PROBLEM: The pics I take WITH the phone camera just go somewhere IN the phone - NOT to my SD card. I can't find any option in the pics to "save to SD card" or anything like that. I had the phone updated the other day and it wiped all the pics I had taken with the phone - but not the SD ones. Now I have more photos and no way to save them to the SD card?

I've tried rebooting the phone, unplugging/replugging the usb from the computer and phone, debugging mode on/off on the phone, and clearing all of the device entries from the Windows registry. The error in event viewer shows: Event id 11: The driver detected a controller error on DeviceHarddisk2DR27. Error I get is 'please insert a disk into removable drive (drive letter)'

I have not unmounted my SD card since this has happened nor did I do it before. I have unmounted it before, but it was never a problem. The camera will not save pictures at all not matter what app is using the camera (Default Android Camera, Facebook, Photoshop Mobile).

Had a friend text and email me a cool ring tone to my phone which I clicked on save to sd card. Now once I save it and even download it I can never find it on my phone. I even went to the net and found this same ring tone and downloaded it and aved it to the sd card but of course I can't find it anywhere on my phone. I can never find crap when I save to my sd card there is no where on my phone I can go to and look at stuff that I down loaded to the sd card. It states that all of the things I have on my cell will be deleted or erased so it would be best to back up some things that I may want to save. I have a text message from a friend asking to borrow money and that they will pay it back. I want to keep all of the details from that message thread just in case. I can copy and paste it to my notepad or I can forward it to my email address but neither of these have the vital information such as the day and time these messages were sent to me. I have a 16GB memory card in my phone but I can't do anything but mount or unmount it. Is there a app where I can save my text messages to either my card or computer? I want to update my phone but don't want to lose the old stuff that may be erased or deleted.

File management and, file transfer applications to wireless link to my laptop followed by the transfer of all my work presentations (powerpoint) and lecture notes. All worked fine until today. Now, my device seems to have lost all the downloaded and installed apps (leaving gaps on the desktop). It has also discarded the image I had chosen for my screen background, and I can't see an icon to go to the Android store. Finally: on one of the screens I have the message "Problem loading widget". That might be connected to the problem that Android Market has completely disappeared. How do I get that back!! It's important. My transferred files are still sitting in folders in DCIM so that's good. but none of the special applications are visible. Can someone give an opinion on this. Has something taken place online with Samsung that has put my system back to its out-of-box state.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThere is some junk on the applications page that I don't think I'll ever use and would like to delete. For example the Bejeweled Demo and some kind of Nascar thing. I followed the basic instructions to press and hold down the icon until the trash appears and then tried dragging them into the trash but they would not disappear. This works for the shortcuts on the first page but not for the two items I've tried on the application "pull-up" They will select and drag but not delete.

My calls started randomly going directly to voice mail, then they all went directly to voice mail. Yesterday I couldn't make or receive any calls! They got that fixed today with a reprogram process, BUT, now I cannot connect to the Internet!
How do I forward/save, whatever, my text messages? Can I save them somehow to the SD card and remove it? Can I forward them to my email (without using the Internet?).
I have the messaging program that is standard, plus I use Chomp SMS mainly.
even my old huwaei had this option I refuse to believe an all powerful android wouldn't have this simple option.
