There is a stock ringtone on the Samsung Moment that I've been searching high and low for. I believe it is called "Samsung". Is there any way someone could pm me or post the ringer? I loved that ringer on the Moment but I cudnt figure out how to save it on my card.

I search around and did not find a thread on my subject? But for the love of me and can not find where it gives you the option to Check off box, to save to SD card? I thought it was when you were on the web? Can you please let me know where is located, also do you all think is necessary to have that checked on for when apps are added to the phone?

My phone is extremely slow now, force closes often and the battery dies every 15 min. Is there any way to save apps to the sd card?

PROBLEM: The pics I take WITH the phone camera just go somewhere IN the phone - NOT to my SD card. I can't find any option in the pics to "save to SD card" or anything like that. I had the phone updated the other day and it wiped all the pics I had taken with the phone - but not the SD ones. Now I have more photos and no way to save them to the SD card?
I'm new to the forums. Just got a Samsung Moment and love it. Just switched from ATT to Sprint. I was wondering if anyone can help me out. I want to be able to either save a text thread or be able to save them on the memory card to back them up. I have a single text thread that I need to keep that has over 400 texts in it. I would like to be able to forward them to my email address or put them on the memory card and save them.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have loaded some of my own music to use as ringers, and they show up when selecting phone ringers and via contacts to select unique ringers for specific contacts, but they do NOT show up when I am trying to select the ringer to use for SMS messaging. Only the factory ringers show up for SMS. Any idea how to get my side loaded music to work as the SMS ringer?! I can't stand the factory ringers. This was so easy to do on my BB Curve and Palm Pixi, so I am baffled why I can't figure it out on my Moment.
View 11 Replies View RelatedOn my old flip phone when i got a call or text message with ringer on i could just hit the volume rocker and it shuts it up when i don't wanna take the call or message. On the moment i don't have that option. I have to hit end button, then menu, and then slide the notification bar down to shut it up. This be kind of annoying, especially when I'm in a meeting and forget to silence my phone before hand. There's a lot of times when i can't answer my phone and would love to reach in my pocket and hit volume button once to shut it up. So i guess what I'm asking is if there is a setting for this that i'm missing, or a different button that does the same.

View 3 Replies View RelatedOkay so i created a folder on my sd card called ringers, worked great for allowing me to use my mp3 files that i croped for my ringtones, however when the phone rings it doesnt ring at the desired volume from the begining, it vibrates only for 1 pulse then the volume slowly comes in from min to the desired level it is as if it is set to escalating. I have searched through all the settings but if there is a way to turn this off i have missed it. I know the mp3 file doesnt escalate because i use the same file on my moment and it rings at full volume from the beginning.

Had a friend text and email me a cool ring tone to my phone which I clicked on save to sd card. Now once I save it and even download it I can never find it on my phone. I even went to the net and found this same ring tone and downloaded it and aved it to the sd card but of course I can't find it anywhere on my phone. I can never find crap when I save to my sd card there is no where on my phone I can go to and look at stuff that I down loaded to the sd card. I would really like to learn how to find crap that I save to my sd card and then use it as a ring tone.

It states that all of the things I have on my cell will be deleted or erased so it would be best to back up some things that I may want to save. I have a text message from a friend asking to borrow money and that they will pay it back. I want to keep all of the details from that message thread just in case. I can copy and paste it to my notepad or I can forward it to my email address but neither of these have the vital information such as the day and time these messages were sent to me. I have a 16GB memory card in my phone but I can't do anything but mount or unmount it. Is there a app where I can save my text messages to either my card or computer? I want to update my phone but don't want to lose the old stuff that may be erased or deleted.

My calls started randomly going directly to voice mail, then they all went directly to voice mail. Yesterday I couldn't make or receive any calls! They got that fixed today with a reprogram process, BUT, now I cannot connect to the Internet!
How do I forward/save, whatever, my text messages? Can I save them somehow to the SD card and remove it? Can I forward them to my email (without using the Internet?).
I have the messaging program that is standard, plus I use Chomp SMS mainly.

Now what? i cant install terminal emulator either. i want to do it this way so i do not use up the space on the fone.For some reason i think it will start going slow again if i dont. any advice on what your setups are? what have you safely removed? is it ok to remove MyFavs? how about the cube? is there anything todo to speed it up a lil? or make it so it doesnt slow down at all?

coming from a BB Curve, you can email yourself ring tones or email them to a friend from your device. I tried to email myself a ring tone on my Fascinate and it comes through, gives you the option to preview it, but no option to save it to the sd card. Does anyone know how to do this? I ask because I have friends that swap ring tones around and it is now impossible to do this for me.

Can i safely delete files through my pc's file manager (while tethered) rather than through the phone it self, files such as pictures and music? I have recovery 3.1.1 and it broke it down into 3 sections with 3 different choices in each. i believe I was soposed to select a partion for each section but not sure. Also I am running mighty dream rom 1.0 and noticed you have a option to store your apps2sd. Will this work with this rom? Is there any other programs I would need to get it to work?
