View 10 Replies View RelatedThere is some junk on the applications page that I don't think I'll ever use and would like to delete. For example the Bejeweled Demo and some kind of Nascar thing. I followed the basic instructions to press and hold down the icon until the trash appears and then tried dragging them into the trash but they would not disappear. This works for the shortcuts on the first page but not for the two items I've tried on the application "pull-up" They will select and drag but not delete.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI was trying to update my Moment to 2.1, but something went wrong in the update process. I've tried simply restarting the process from the beginning, but that didn't work, and the progress bar still goes nowhere. If I turn the phone on i get a white screen that says "can not find jpg or png" at the top. If I do volume down+call+end, I get the same thing, but under the "can not find" error it says "recovery mode." But that's it. There are no options to select, and the buttons and touchscreen are unresponsive. However, I can still get to download mode with vol down + camera + end. What is the process for re flashing the phone using download mode, and where can I get the software?

View 8 Replies View RelatedIve downloaded and attempted to use a couple of these apps such as Launcher Pro Beta and Helix that claim to give you more launcher home screen pages and I still end up only having 3 home pages (dunno there official names lol). What is the major malfunction? Do i need to be rooted to use these apps or what? Or is there something in these programs settings that im missing?

I am so use to my Touch Pro 1 & 2 as far as saving everything to my SD card. Why am I not able to save applications and other documents to my sd card on android? My phone is extremely slow now, force closes often and the battery dies every 15 min. Is there any way to save apps to the sd card?

When I tried to open it an error message popped up saying "out of memory". I have plenty of memory left on both my sd card and internal memory so I am stumped as to what "memory" the message is referring to.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded to a rooted 2.1 system and all worked well for about a week, including use of the Market. But now I can't download anything from the Market at this point. I've tried every solution I've seen on this and other forums, but nothing has solved the issue. I've tried rebooting through recovery, pulling out the battery, starting Google Talk (apparently that helps with other phones), checked the 'okay to download third-party apps/unknown sources' mark in settings, and cleared the cache out of every application. I've uninstalled every application I've downloaded in the last 3-4 days.
However, I can't find the Market app to clear the cache - would seem like if I cleared the cache from the Market app, that might do the trick. I remember seeing it as an manageable app in 1.5, but it's not showing in 2.1.
Is the Market app in 2.1 hidden somehow? I've used Root Explorer, ASTRO and the stock apps manager but none show the Market program as an application.
Also, are there other suggestions I haven't tried?
The reason it's an issue right now is because I removed the mms.apk program (moved it to the SD card, but it won't re-install -- tried ASTRO and Root Explorer) and was using Handsent SMS exclusively for texting. But Handsent had some problems so I uninstalled it and was about to re-install it but now I can't successfully download anything from the Market. So, I have no texting ability right now.
Simple question really, I'd like to replace my wall paper and the ones with the phone are not to my liking. What are your favorites or do you know of any Android ready, Moment sized, wall paper website galleries that I can browse?

I do like to use it for music, but as of right now my PSP sounds better, but i'd like to leave that at home when I head off to school. It's kinda clunky, and it'd be more desireable to only have to take one thing with me. Don't get me wrong, the sound is fine on the Moment, it's just..... not what I want it to be.
